I actually appreciate the lack of overblown tech. Some cars today have screens straight across the dashboard or close to it. Seems very distracting. I like the classic guage cluster instead of a big fancy display.
Just got my 2023 gt and I absolutely love it. He described it perfectly. It’s a great practical yet fun car. I have the black with red interior and it looks great. Mazda did well with this one
I had the previous bodystyle. This one has grown on me. Mazda is a more safety conscious and takes a minimalist approach with the Mazda3. The hatch and sedan are so underrated.

I have a 2023 tubro PP hatch and i honeslty love. Amazing power, deiving experience is fantastic. Great safety features. Can read road signs. 360 top down cameras. Sport mode actually changes the feeling of your driving experience keeping you in boost at all times if it can. You can always feel the immediate downshift when you click sport mode on. Mirrors are auto dimming. With the rearview mirror framless. Super nice. I could go on and on about the amazing things in the 3 turbo. But the one thing the ONLY bad thing. Is the MPG. If you get this car and drive it like a turbo gas goes bye bye REAL QUICK. Like it drinks your milkshake Daniel. It drinks it up! Love my 23 tubro 3 hatch. My dream version of the 3. And my 5th Mazda 3 😆.
Drove my new 2024 380km and I still have half a tank left. Have not been able to empty it to see how many km I get on a full tank, because it got broken into 16 hours after owning it and it is now getting repaired. But 380km on a half tank is pretty damn good
@@Fastdonkeynads I must be driving more "spirited" than most. The tank on the 23 is only 12.7 gallons I think. It's a small tank to begin with. My 2019 NA I saw 280 300miles on a full tank. Pretty sure they made it smaller on the turbo variant. But DANNMNNNNNN I have to drive slower.

Don't care about the genuine leather - I've worked with leather for years, and it's terrible upholstery material - but the Mazda3 looks great ("Soul Red" is one of the best automotive colors ever) and performs very well. I had a base hatchback with the 6-speed manual back in 2016, and loved driving it, but I'm old, and found it increasingly difficult and painful to get into and out of. When I looked at one of these at a nearby dealer, it was just as low to the ground as the one I traded away. This is the car I wanted 30 years ago, before my knees and back went bad.
I am looking at this car, as well as a few others. Someone who owns this car could you please tell me if this car is expensive to insure, it's still a small engine but with the turbo I'm concerned the rates may rise a little, thanks.
Best way is to get an actual quote from your current insurance company. Everyone will have a different rate so they will be able to give you an exact amount.
Does it get lane follow assist in which it steers for us slightly, not the lane keep it has but the ones we see in Hyundai's and kia's . Good to have on long drives.
Yeah seems a bit much for sure. It was nice to drive tho and better then some other pricey economy cars. The Subaru Impreza we had recently cost this much and had cloth and a slow engine
This car needs a lot more than rear vents. Why would anyone buy this it hasn't been updated for the better in years for the same money you could get into the Elantra N or WRX. Mazda has let the hatch fall behind the others and charges a crazy price. It's a pass.
Every time I feel like buying a car the price kills it for me. I will wait this market out.....can't buy anything new under 20k....markups killing the desirable models....just paid our car off months ago and going to just save a pay off debt
Every car reviewers fails to show the default navigation system. I also don't know what these reviwers drive themselves as they always say that these cars are not that expensive. At 38K, this is expensive for what you get.
What’s to see? Every nav is pretty much the same, so nothing special about it. But it costs less than the average price of a new car so in that aspect, it’s not expensive.
Thank the lord someone finally posted a review of the 2024 model.
I doubt you still have the vehicle but a UA-cam short on the touchscreen CarPlay capability would be appreciated.
It was a cool vehicle to check out!
Yea I don't have it anymore. Pretty much every CarPlay system will work the same if you have seen others!

Yeah I hear that. Some of it just never even gets used. So it's nice to see something simple for buyers who don't want it

2.5 Turbo only pumping out 257 hp. I'm a little disappointed . No air vents for ac in the rear seat. Come on mazda.
The only thing that holds me from buying this one is visibility:(
It’s really not bad at all! Coming from my R8, it’s pretty easy to see.

I thought that too, then I test drove mine. NOT an issue at all, the mirrors got you. I only occasionally glance over my shoulder.
Falls short as it could use a manual tranny, and the tires could be wider. I can forgive both given the price point.
