I actually appreciate the lack of overblown tech. Some cars today have screens straight across the dashboard or close to it. Seems very distracting. I like the classic guage cluster instead of a big fancy display.

I own a 2012 mazda 3 skyactive. 370,000 kms. I beat the heck out of it. It literally bacame my construction vehicle and has been full of tools for years. Dents all over. I drive it in off road conditions frequently. The right side spoiler has been torn off and tbh, i often didnt change the oil for 12,000 kms which is double recommended. Never changed the tranny fluid and changed plugs and wires once. Its been across canada full of tools and a bubble on top also full. Ive not been a good father to it. But guess what. Nothing has ever gone wrong with it. Its still solid driving. It purrs so sweet. Its got good power. It gets awesome gas mileage and shows little mechanical signs of being tired.
The suspension and under carriage doesnt show the corrosion that other cars younger do. (I did buy that electro anti rust device from mazda) .
Im looking into an MX-5 for fun now and my wife is look at this video car now.
How can someone dispute how well they build these machines.

I have a 2023 tubro PP hatch and i honeslty love. Amazing power, deiving experience is fantastic. Great safety features. Can read road signs. 360 top down cameras. Sport mode actually changes the feeling of your driving experience keeping you in boost at all times if it can. You can always feel the immediate downshift when you click sport mode on. Mirrors are auto dimming. With the rearview mirror framless. Super nice. I could go on and on about the amazing things in the 3 turbo. But the one thing the ONLY bad thing. Is the MPG. If you get this car and drive it like a turbo gas goes bye bye REAL QUICK. Like it drinks your milkshake Daniel. It drinks it up! Love my 23 tubro 3 hatch. My dream version of the 3. And my 5th Mazda 3 😆.

Don't care about the genuine leather - I've worked with leather for years, and it's terrible upholstery material - but the Mazda3 looks great ("Soul Red" is one of the best automotive colors ever) and performs very well. I had a base hatchback with the 6-speed manual back in 2016, and loved driving it, but I'm old, and found it increasingly difficult and painful to get into and out of. When I looked at one of these at a nearby dealer, it was just as low to the ground as the one I traded away. This is the car I wanted 30 years ago, before my knees and back went bad.
