I feel bad for his frustrations over dealing with so many uncooperative people. The fact that he has to constantly repeat himself, and resort to violence just to get an answer from people truly exemplifies the general rude nature of our society. Jack the type of man to say "I love you" to his ungrateful teenage daughter and then when she doesn't return it he screams "I LOVE YOU" and then she still doesn't reply
My favourite Jack Bauer "ask nicely" moment is in Live Another Day when he is interrogating Steve Navarro. He asked him a question, Navarro didn't reply, then Jack casually said "I'm going to ask you nicely one last time" I knew what was coming. Five seconds later, Jack is pounding Steve's hand with his own handgun, then he threw Steve to the ground and then security guards came in and restrained Jack. I swear to God, I LAUGHED so fucking hard. Classic Jack Bauer got carried away and then restrained LOL
Just imagine the interview for the role of Jack Bauer. Keifer Sutherland: Send those other guys home I am Jack Bauer. Interviewer: Okay sir we will..... Keifer Sutherland: I SAID GET THEM OUT OF HERE I AM JACK BAUER!!!!
If you watch 24 all the yelling makes perfect sense! In a situation where you have to get a lot done to try and stop a very bad situation, and one one is willing to cooperate, yelling and threatening just comes natural!

24 days in a nutshell: 1-5 Jack caring for his family, doing the right thing, while both being ignored or betrayed. 6-8 is Jack being done with everything and everyone, continuing to be smarter than everyone else, and still being ignored and or betrayed. 9 is Jack just falling back on old habits and dealing with bullshit, while cleaning up everyone else’s mess.
