I think any class of car can be exciting, depending on your needs and price range. I personally have zero use for a sports car...love these videos and love Hondas! Dave does a great job!
I'm pretty sure if we didnt get snow here i would have a sports car no question. I am not tall or large, but these seats do not go back far enough for me. probably a good car for an older lady.
I've had a 2015 EX since last November. At the time I got it, I was between jobs but I knew I would need a reliable car for commuting (for when I found a new job), but had to be inexpensive. The Fit is that. It is reliable transportation and it gets decent gas mileage for my 100 mile a day commute. It isn't perfect. Here are some things I don't like about it: - The rear window defroster does not seem to turn itself off automatically after a period of time. Also, using it severly cuts into MPG (heavy load on the tiny alternator) - There are no heated mirrors on the EX. Requires the EX-L (for $1000 more. Really Honda?) - There is no variability on the intermittent windshield wipers (not sure if the EX-L has this) Again, really Honda? - The compatibility of the In Car Entertainment system with Android phones plainly sucks. iPhones are reportedly somewhat better but not perfect either. - Sound quality of the ICE is "meh". - The fuel gauge does not seem that accurate. When it says it is empty, I think there is really a bit more left. I have never been able to fill it much more than 9 gallons when the gauge says it is just about empty at one bar left. The tank is spec'ed at 10.5 gallons. - The OEM Firestone tires are “meh” and I have a sidewall bulge on one of them with no other apparent tire damage. Need to see if Firestone will cover it. - Would be nice if they could get another gallon or two in the gas tank, though I understand the constraints they had with the design of where it is (which is awesome) Things I like: - Magic seats are awesome! - Decent gas mileage. - Easy to drive and maneuver… great for the young drivers in my house - First CVT I have ever driven and I have to say, it isn’t that bad. Sport mode and Paddle shifters are there when you feel like having some fun (such as it is) Overall, I can't fault the car for much except the entertainment system. But, I can't say I am in love with it either. It is fulfilling a need for now. I will probably keep it for another year or two and maybe pass it on to one of my kids. Keep up the good work, Dave.
Hey!! I love the Honda Fit...it's perfect for me! I have a Toyota Matrix 2006 right now and he's getting older. Time to get a new car. I've loved the Fit for years. I depend on my car to be reliable and practical & economical! The Fit is awesome as much as it can be.
***** Well so far so good. I've been driving mine for about 6months now and I don't have any complaints about the seats. I love driving it actually. Are you planning on purchasing one?
I'm kind of disappointed that Honda went for the CVT instead of a traditional 6 speed automatic, there is a lot of negatives regarding CVT's, the way they drive and reliability (durability) among others. To me, it's a deal breaker, unless I could go for he manual.
I got my Civic 2015 in Alabaster Silver Metallic... That color is AMAZING!! Add some dark windows films and the splashguards and the car looks AWESOME!!
Wish Honda would offer a simpler trim model like the DX in the earlier 2000's. Even the Civic is loaded and expensive. Something under 13 grand, maybe they need a 3 cylinder Kei Car option? Although this would be a great car to offer a downgraded trim on. $16,600 can get you a Subaru Impreza with AWD, a class above with some negotiation. They need a real base model for a segment like this.
The new fit is so nice. It is amazing what Honda put in the economic subcompact car. I wouldn't mind go back to age 18 and college again, if my Dad is buying me this car for college.
i have an acura and a cr-v but i must admit i really like a lot about this car. acura should add more luxury and comfort features to it and make a nice lexus ct200 competitor
Practically, shouldn't. You get more passenger volume inside the Fit. Plus the HR-V is based on the Fit, so it will live on even if no one buys another Fit again.
Johnson L The HR-V is based on the Fit platform and if you compare the two, you see many common parts in the interior. I believe the CVT is shared but the HR-V uses the Civic 1.8L engine instead. Built in the same factory even.
Another thought. Everyone who has reviewed the HR-V do not like it all that well. Most of those same reviewers do like the Fit. I have driven the Fit multiple times and safely say it's every bit as good as others make it out to be.
I don't get how people drive these things. It's not that there's not enough room, but the car itself is just a laughing stock...so small and it looks really strange now too. Oh well, nice first look none the less lol.
+Everyman Driver yeah i know what u mean , i still up end up watching all your car reviews , even the not so exciting cars , great video i like the format
my sister has the base 2015 model and it is a very nice car. love the way it drives and how economical it is. you can fit a lot of stuff in there too!

The cup holder on the driver is on the way of the ac and I think the 2016 is much longer than the 2015!

He lowkey fine 😂
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan if the Fit was the size of the Mazda5 and has a small 6 cylinder in it and awd! I would buy two!
The new fit is so nice. It is amazing what Honda put in the economic subcompact car. I wouldn't mind go back to age 18 and college again, if my Dad is buying me this car for college.
So I'm subscribing. Great car. I'm a new dad and husband so these cars are my new hobby.
Can't wait for 2016 accord review
I own a 2015,love it! The fab does work on the tailgate though.
Please do 0-60 :D great videos as usual Dave Everyman Driver
and please do some in depth about the paddle shift in that CVT :D
I could use a little more cow bell.
i have an acura and a cr-v but i must admit i really like a lot about this car. acura should add more luxury and comfort features to it and make a nice lexus ct200 competitor
Its got HDMI, I'm sold.
Stephen H right lol
Will it be a manual? Let's see!
i have a 2009 thinking of getting the new one
this car has become so bizarre looking
Booya! LOL Dave you are such a jock it's hilarious. Love your reviews!
test drive results (other than mpg)? ride with 4 people inside for 200 miles?
I'm down with the Boo-yah, but it's like a taking a shot. One gets the party started, but one too many wrecks it. Boo-yah responsibly.
Do you think this car are good in winter?
Why would you need a HDMI in a car?
What type of car would you recommend for a first ever driver ? Affordable and great for college and friends etc.
Tia S what did you end up getting
Cristian Games actually getting a car this spring ! Don't know what I will get though :/
There's a huge Facebook group for Honda Fit owners. You might engender inspiration from it, search it and join: truefitcrew
Tia s which car you bought
Honda was going to call this car the Jazz in North America but there was a conflict with the pro ball team with that name so Honda named it the Fit.
What's the horn sound like?
beep beep
seriously? HDMI?
Do you have like Honda Fit RS?? :)
Nice video, Dave, so handsome!
keep the excitement and the booyas please :)
Honda factory now in Mexico.?
love you thanks

Best car ever...
+jeffrey trip Ever? - Dave, Everyman Driver

You сan watch "The Fits" here twitter.com/0af0731c15dbdb8fd/status/739068654558584833 2016 Honda FITTT on Everyman Driver Just Arrived
Make it the size of a Mazda5 and then you can better say that.
The only think i know the difference between 2015 Honda Fit and 2016 Honda Fit it's just re-design front and rear bumper.
what means "bucha"?
Why is there HDMI in the car i dont get r
You can use the HDMI port to cast your iOS or Android phone's screen to the car's display.
Astig !!!
I am guaranteed to find out how much crap can fit in the cars I drive.
Pretty white perfect teeth.... The glow in the dark kind! Love em!
the HR-V will kill this car off!

+Everyman Driver Honda Fit are fun as fuck to drive.
Too much plastic on cars now. I have a better chance of walking away from a crash on my Harley, lol
