When he asks about the line "I can't go through this again." Are you kidding me?... Reznor is telling himself that if he slides back into using again, he will NOT SURVIVE to get clean because he simply cannot go through it again. Now, I am not a drug user or an addict. I don't smoke pot. I rarely drink. Yet, even someone like me can understand Reznor's lyrics...and what he is conveying. This guy thinks it's about romantic relationships??? Talk about seeing yourself everywhere you look (projecting your own stuff onto others while being incapable of standing in their shoes and taking their perspective). Honestly, this is an embarrassing interview (for the interviewer). Reznor was kind in not telling this guy that this song was not about him, and instead just saying he doesn't like to discuss lyrics. smh

😂😂😂
Doesn’t it occur to anyone that this was from 2005?

I can hardly believe how clueless this interviewer is. How does he NOT know that MUCH of Reznor's work from Downward Spiral to then (2005) was about addiction and trying to recover?
Reznor was kind in not telling this guy that this song was not about him, and instead just saying he doesn't like to discuss lyrics. smh

I'm 3 minutes in and I'm already cringing at the rude af interviewer
"You look kinda bulky" ¬_¬
He asked about something that I have noticed myself, but he didn't ask about it in the right way. I would ask him something along the lines "You look healthier than before" but not to dig this too much. I believe that workout was part of his recovery from addiction which is a great way to help combat addiction.
What's so wrong about saying that when he obviously built a lot of muscle?
I know right? then the question about his age, like did he expect to see him wallow in self pity about it?
praszu I also thought he was insisting about age and appearance, a bit unprofessional, imo.

I like how when he's talking about Dave Grohl he only has positive things to say but his body language suggests that he doesn't like him at all
