Hi everyone dropping this comment for all the girlies out there, my skin is acne prone skin and i was scared to use facial razor on my face , but my dermatologist suggested me that this is the only better option you can opt for, as facial waxing makes your skin loose+ you’ll have some burns after that, threading on your cheeks or parts which are much sensitive will be the worst! But but dermaplanning can save your skin for real! I did it 2 days back touchwood i didnt get any scar and also thick hair depends on your hormones , if you have pcos/pcod they’ll obviously grow thicker but if you do not have that it’s alright, AND ALSO FACIAL HAIR ARE NORMALLLL!! I think anything that works for your skin is enough. I use baby oil gel to shave my face, and I haven't had an issue yet. I usually just wash it off with my regular face wash and toner (both made with ingredients for sensitive skin)
that's why you exfoliate a day after! apply some good quality dermatologist recommended lotion after shaving and exfoliate while showering the next day. if you have a regular skincare routine, continue with that as usual and use sunscreen! hope this works

The long term effect is that your skin feels,smoother and softer, makeup goes on smoothly and it is sort of a deep exfoliation to the skin. Shaving has benefitted most women but caused problems to many so just follow the proper procedure if you really wanna try/do it, if you're scared still wanna do it then do it once or a small part of face and then see if it caused any issues. My hair grows quite fast since my hormones hit me (my upper lip grown in 7 days) and then i started shaving last year and my hair feels the same,grows the same and in the same time, there's no faster hair growth and if you see ppl saying this they probably don't know the mechanism of a hair follicle.There's other hair removal methods too like waxing (not good due to pulling and tugging for the skin) , threading (causes itchiness to many), ppl choose it because it's easier, beneficial,saves the parlour,can be done by the self and works for them. I saw another video say to hold the blade at a 45 degree angle. It’s too much pressure straight up and down. That’s what I usually do and I always get little cuts
I’m too scared to reuse it on my entire face but I would only on my brow area. After the first use I’d wash the blade and soak it in alcohol for a few minutes then store it in a tight sealed plastic.

If you do not have extreme hair growth on your face then do not shave it,just do the upper lips and eyebrows if required,not everything should be followed blindly ,hair follicles are useful,it protects our skin to some extent.

It doesn’t grow back thicker. I’ve been doing it for about 6 months now. I do it 1-2 times a month and have never had an issue with more hair growth or darker hair growth.
Guys this actually differs from a body to other. Some's hair may grow thicker and some may not. Also, it makes a few times of shaving for the hair to grow thicker it does not happen from the first time.

@@supposedlyhuman so I usually wash my face with face wash and exfoliate it before I shave it and that usually stopped my breakouts. And if sometimes I was going to break out I would quickly use spot patches etc, and they would fade after a few days. But nothing terrible, honestly.

Shaving leaves the hair ends blunt this is why you feel them thicker or coarse. It grows back exactly the same

It doesn’t grow back thicker. I’ve been doing it for about 6 months now. I do it 1-2 times a month and have never had an issue with more hair growth or darker hair growth.

Guys this actually differs from a body to other. Some's hair may grow thicker and some may not. Also, it makes a few times of shaving for the hair to grow thicker it does not happen from the first time.
