Idk why it is so funny to see American cars in Japan, and how big those cars are compared to the JDM units. I am sure that a lot of Japanese people love how these American cars are, but for us in the USA, we see these everywhere and it's like whatever for us haha.
He said its for the nitrous lol 😂😂😂. Auto vacuum hubs. You dont see them because they fail and people put manual hubs on. I want that mini front end zuki van
1:03-That was a french🇫🇷 1980 Renault R5. Renault took there front engine front wheel drive economy car called the 'le-car' in the usa. or it was called the 5 elsewhere. and they re-engineered it moving the engine behind the driver. They did this to make a rally car out of it. So you were looking at the street version. It has a turbo intercooled 4 cylinder engine making 160hp. The racing version made 350hp....in 1980! THAT R5 is got to be one of a very few in japan.
From wikipedia: In May 2001, the M·Spec[62] was introduced. It was based on the V-Spec II, but had special "Ripple control" dampers, revised suspension set up, stiffer rear sway bar and a leather interior with heated front seats. The 'M' on the M·Spec stood for Mizuno who is the chief engineer of Nissan. The only other change was the removal of the carbon fibre bonnet which was replaced with the standard aluminium bonnet. In February 2002, Nissan launched a final production model of the R34 GT-R called the Skyline GT-R V·Spec II Nür[63] and the Skyline GT-R M·Spec Nür, which were based on the V-Spec II N1. The Nür was named after the famous German Nürburgring racetrack, where the Skyline was developed.
Bruh 8:02 that's a 3AT not the ECVT so it's a little better....Then at 10:05 you find that out...98 was the 3at switch years started late in 97 for vans
Jusg wondering does the 25 year rule in the US refer to the ability to register the vehicle or customs allowing in to be imported? For example if you find your dream car thats 24 year old could you import it and store in for 12 months then register it.
@@Waybeforethefame Meaning is there any way we can see what you are offering for sale if any. Or anyone that you may work with to get these vehicles you import sold? If I'm way out there I apologize. Just very interested in these vehicles and how I could purchase one that has already been imported.
Question for you guys I just imported 3 kei Van's into the UK 2 of them had parts included and 1 had winter tyres but as my shipping agent keeps telling me if they are not ATTACHED to the vehicle then they will be removed at the port all the parts went missing - do you have the same issue with parts? If you dont who is your agent maybe I would use them let me know..
correct you can not export anything inside the cars. If the car has parts in the car they'll throw them away prior to export unless the company you used ships it to you
What have you imported with us not having any restrictions definitely Kei cars are getting more popular always at 8 to 10 Honda S660s for sale on Autotrader . Always loads of Copens which are sold here so maybe that's why.
Renault 5 maxi Turbo here in Europe £60 grand + very good low mileage say under 30,000 miles over £100,000 Amongst having the engine in the rear & been literally a rally cay for the road it was the red 5 Tutbo in 007 Never say Never again..Has gauges etc built into the roof .
I know why sorry as we sold ours at least 7 or 8 years ago , just asked my Mrs and she said ours had remote lock-in if you forgot to lock it with remote as long as the key wasn't in the ignition. Which I do remember was a pain at the petrol station.
Hope we don't have to wait to 2047, hope we can get the stupid laws changed, yep I buy automatic. I would pay 3k all day on a bunch of stuff. Can't find cool cars like that here for 3k.
Honda fit is a Jazz only in Japan its a Fit for Rent of the world its a Jazz. In Europe you have be over 70 to own.1. its renound for old age pensioners owning them . An old Yop gear both Clarkson & Mays mum well into their 70d at the time owned them.
Many young drivers also own Honda Jazz's back then, specially popular with girls, or boy racers. Neighbor has a Jazz with fart exhaust and carbon wrapped panels
Surely some of the vehicles must have Japanese service history , with Google translate least you have an idea if they have been looked after, every car has a service book . Surely you would think if something has 7000 km a Japanese buyer would want to verify it.
I laughed when David said.."BASURA" on Ford Taurus..HAHAHAHA
Crazy part is he wants to buy it
Nick and David road trip in the TWO SEATER midget. 10/10 would watch for the banter lol
Maybe a double midget roadtrip!
Lmao imagine that hahahaha
Oh man, so many of those small vans . Crazy beautiful machines, so many is wonderful condition.
Fantastic selection.
Kei cars FTW
1:03:34 but that 5 Turbo 2 is AMAZING

😂lol "l don't, but people do." Lol😂
It is true lol
I can't believe you guys got both of the Midget 2's. I wish I could afford to get one.
I know I’m hype!!!
That blue Beat is stunning.
BTW, saw a Flying Pug at the JDM car meet last night.
do you hate or love them?
Lets gooooo watching the video on the beach…
SURFS UP WITH THE KEIS!
The buttplug lighter in the purple Suzuki 🤣
I said the same thing lol
The daihatsu taft looks like the n-box but better lol the taft also comes in turbo
Dammm right had no idea it was turbo
@@Waybeforethefame Before it was discontinued back in like '86 it was a non kei turbo diesel
I prefer the single-seater Midget. It seems possible to change the transmission to 5MT.
I prefer the cargo but if it was stick shift.

Dude that red pajero is fireee, if i didn’t have one coming i would definitely be all over that.
yeah that red one is real nice

Love the Subaru 21
58:20--That olive Color GTR is easily 6 figures outside japan. the NUR spec means it's named after the german nurburgring racetrack.

Lots of cool cars there!
With traffic in most American cities, more of us prefer automatic than you think. Nothing I hate worse than a clutch in stop and go.
As someone who live in NYC I agree BUT I still love me a clutch for the days I can open it up
I would definitely have a flat bottom steering wheel! I'm 6ft 6"!!
Just more fun. I never understand this argument. Don't forget leg day lol
Agreed. It's a Motorsports Edition.
Nitrous line made me lol for real
😂
I can feel you grinning ear to ear
You have no idea lol
The Honda Fit is the jdm version of the Honda Jazz at 1:04:45
I’m in Japan shouldn’t it be called jazz then? and fit everywhere else
Renault 5 turbo is insane!!!O.O
Need one in my life

Is that normal … high idle @ start-up ?? Was that vehicle without the center column importable?? Is that a 3 cyd thing?
Which one
Sad to hear of age restrictions on import of these little vans.
All of them clean
alot of good cars today
hope you are showing them over here to. i have always liked smaller cars.
We will!
Jazz and fit are the same, they use the Jazz name in the UK.
Ahhhh okay makes sense
Not only in UK but everywhere in Europe.
Jdm overload

Wonder how many from any comp have super charger?

For example if you find your dream car thats 24 year old could you import it and store in for 12 months then register it.
Register for road use. I saw some vids a while back, guy was importing 5yo Kei trucks to be used only on farms and other off-road use.
Yeah you could pay for storage in Japan , it’s usually 100 a month . A lot of people do that for the expensive cars like GTRs and type Rs
This has been asked a million times, if its not 25yo the day it arrives in the USA it wont be allowed to be registered.
What is the Japanese site these cars are auctioned on?
Hi all. Have'nt seen a Subaru R1 or R2. Is there any left at these japanese auctions. There a cool little Kei Car.
I need to look them up maybe I walked past them without even knowing
I thought u couldn't just get late model cars shipped to the u.s only 20 years old.
whats the name of that auction?
maybe
USS Tokyo

Reason Copens won't be open is probably as they aren't 25 years old yet . Oldest are 21ish and newest 12 years old.
All the honda 660 are open and even the new Jimnys

you're right
You buy stuff to sell.. keep that in mind, your manual car might not appeal to most specially those who don't know how to drive manual cars.
people who don't know how to drive manual usually are not looking to get a right hand drive car imported from Japan

Usually, mileage discrepancies get pointed out on the auction sheets if it doesn't line up with the service history.
