Translated before the Catholic KJV, which translated the word "falling away",, but it can mean a physical departing.

@@plowsharesintoswords4693 yes, it can mean fall away, but it can also mean depart (physically), depending on the context. 2 Thess 2 opens with, "We beseech you by our assembling unto Him ..." Context-- the rapture.

One of you most learned scholars should consider Revelation 12:17, where the Dragon makes war with the left behind remnant, who were not raptured, but were martyred. Kind of significant, don't you think?

the mystery that paul is talking about is that we will have a new body and not the rapture because jesus already spoke about the rapture in Mathew 24
The new body was known since Job.
Jesus did not speak about the Rapture in Matthew 24. That is the return! The Rapture, where dead and alive christians are changed, that is Paul. God bless and yes its pre Tribulation

They are quoting versus right out of the Bible. I believe these to be honorable men and are not trying to deceive anyone but trying to explain things in a cohesive manner. I know a lot of people quote out of Mathew that the Rapture comes after the tribulation and yet some claim Jesus will come mid-tribulation. The only thing to know is that the Rapture WILL take place. Jesus must be shaking His head to see Christian people arguing about a time when NO ONE will happen. Just KNOW that it will happen, that is what is important.
There is no rapture before the tribulation...The wheat and the tares will grow together and then they will be separated when Yeshua/Jesus returns...
Tares into the furnace is their tribulation judgement. Wheat go intio the Millenial Kingdom….nothing to do with the Church - the body of Christ.
That is the return!!! Alive people who took the Mark are gathered and burned. People who didn't take the Mark are gathered, possibly picked up by angels and carried to Jerusalem to see Jesus rule and reign on the Throne of David for 1000 years as KING of Kings and LORD of Lords. God bless.
