  • Minilogue with the main sequence, being run through the microcosm. Volca Bass with the rhythm, and volca keys for the lead. Volca Sample2 for the drums. Everything is being sequenced with the SQ64. Audio is direct from the mixer into the camera.

    I like the patch on Minologue, Why don't you use the korg sq 64 for the sequence of the volca sample 2?

      Just seeing this now, so sorry! Honestly I used to have the Volca beats mapped out to track 4. I then switched to the sample, and never took the time to map it out. I think I enjoy selecting the different patterns this way, and occasionally like to finger drum as well, and I’m not sure I’d be able to pull that off with the SQ64. Was thinking the other day though maybe I need to switch and start programming again

      Thank you for the answer! I was asking because I like to use the SQ64 with the Volca sample, because for each subtrack you can assign a cc parameter and add some probabilities, for example on the level or filter. It makes the sequence more "alive", I don't know if you understand what I mean.
