I just do not know how Becky does everything she does while having a one year old. Also, she has the sweetest disposition, she just seems so down to earth, kind, generous and authentic. Continued blessings for 2024 all.
I am a stocking manager at a grocery store. It was great you noticed how good it looks. That store looks gorgeous. They should be very proud of thier team.
24:32, small jar of McCormick caraway seed right to the left of the celery seed! :) I was yelling at you to turn around. Didn't you hear me? LOL!!!
Same 😂
@@cajbaf 😂
Same lol I saw it just as she was turning away lol
😂😂😂😂❤
😂😂. I was yelling too. I can't believe she didn't hear all of us 😂
I think it says a lot about a person when there whole comment section is friendly and supportive. You know your doing things right 💜
Your mama must be so proud of you Becky ❤❤❤ My daughter and I did things together but she had passed in 2021 at the age of 34 from cervical cancer. When I watch you it reminds me of my precious daughter. I miss her so much ❤❤❤❤
Aw that’s so sad. We should never out live our children.❤
So sorry for your loss.
So sorry for your loss. ❤️🙏🙏
My heart goes out to you. Big hugs! I use to go shopping with my wonderful step momma before she passed a few years ago of cancer. Watching Becky and her mom shop brings back good memories of those times and I am grateful she shares these moments and trips.
I just found your channel a week ago and have straight binged all week long. Like seriously; non-stop. Where have you been all my life, friend? Love you, your family, and your content. God Bless and Happy Easter. HE HAS RISEN!!
Aren’t her videos just so addicting
I did the same thing when I found Becky! It is odd how I feel like I know her lol. I love how lovely, calm, and positive she is!
same here, I have made the sourdough bread and the best brown sugar chocolate chip cookies! I love her!
I also did the same thing when I found her channel! I look forward to every video she posts! 😁
I’ve followed from the start, I feel blessed to have joined her & Josh on their journey ❤
Sultana raisins are also called golden raisins..much milder and not so sticky..they sell them in a box right next to the ordinary ones..I hate raisins, but I like golden raisins..I use them in my pumpkin, oatmeal, cranberry cookies
Agreed! Golden raisins are so good. 😋
Love me some golden raisins! Try them soaked in a little real vanilla extract. Very tasty in recipes and on their own.
I saw them in your video right next to the regular ones in a yellow box.
good info. Thanks
Interesting. In Australia they're just called sultanas and are generally a medium brown colour and golden sultanas are a more yellow colour. Sultanas are far more common than raisins. In the end, they're all just different varieties of dried grapes.
Hope whoever your Mum is looking after is doing ok, sending prayers
Susan’s mom, I think.
Same
Love how you're hyping yourself up even though you definitely were missing your mom.
❤❤❤
Am I the only one who says Hi friend back to Becky? Happy Easter! ❤
❤Me too!
I do!
I say it too.
I could wash dishes at your house all day long. The scenery out of that window is amazing. It looks like a painting.
Can you imagine that job? The scenery, her calm sweet demeanor, amazing smells and the incredible food that we would be subjected to test taste?!? Sign me up 😊
Me too
Aw thanks!
She have an amazing views ❤ and her mom too. So beautiful and calming.
Debbie that it is she has beautiful scenery.
Just found you and I think we were split at birth!!! I love to cook, farm and my dogs!! I can’t be trusted going down the pet toy aisle. My daughter came home from college early Thursday night to help me grocery shop and she constantly said, “Mom. Focus.” 😂😂 My heart was so happy seeing your seedlings!!! My mom and I started a greenhouse business 33 years ago with 1 greenhouse and we only sold wholesale for years. But the public kept showing up on our farm so we are now fully retail with 5 stores across the top half of our state and 25 houses on the farm. It’s unbelievably hard work but the absolute BEST job in the world! I’ve had to step back due to a major illness issue but my brother, sister-in-love, nieces and dad still farm wide open, along with a huge host of fabulous employees. God has blessed my family beyond what we could ever deserve or imagine. The store motto has always been (since day one) Isiah 40:8 “The grass withers and the flowers fade but the word of the Lord endures forever.” HE IS RISEN!! ✝️
Aww, we will miss your mom. Love it when you guys shop together.
When it comes to picking out the perfect melon, I've got a couple of tricks up my sleeve. First off, give it a good 'Knock.' Just tap the surface lightly with your knuckles. You're listening for that deep, hollow sound, which is a sign of ripeness and juiciness. Another trick is to 'Give it a Sniff.' While watermelons might not have a strong scent, ripe honeydew or cantaloupe will give off a sweet aroma. Press lightly near the stem and take a deep whiff. These methods have never let me down in selecting the juiciest melons!
for watermelon, the bigger the yellow spot where it sat on the ground, the sweeter.
@@bonniesteel5236Thanks, I’m going to try that! I’m terrible at picking out water melon and have been doing the knock test and get the one that is most green! I’ll start looking for big yellow spots and hopefully have to throw out less tasteless watermelon!
I was telling her to "push it's belly button!" It should have a slight give to it. I laughed throughout this video because I was carrying on a conversation with Becky (although she didn't listen to me!) and my husband kept saying "What?" thinking I was talking to him!
I usually smell where the vine was cut at. That will tell you if they are sweet. At least I do that, and so far it has never failed for me.
I learned from produce man: honeydew will feel waxy. The waxy feeling are sugars. It actually works.
WINCO stands for Wasington, Idaho, Nevada, California and Oregon.
We have Winco in Oklahoma.
Also I just bought Tillamook Cream cheese. Have not tried it yet. But I kmow it will be good!!
Many winco stores in utah that have been here for at least 40 plus years.
I knew I wasn't the only one that would help Becky with this information. I remember when a friend moved from California to Texas and realized, there are no WINCOs there!
Texan here, we have Winco now!! 😊
Raisins and sultanas are just different varieties of grapes and can be substituted for each other. Raisins are sweeter.
Your caraway seeds are a spice 24:31 - small jar, red lid, to the right of basil leaves. 3rd shelf from the top, 7th item from the left on that shelf.
Your menu plan sounds delicious. Looking forward to the next episode for some ideas.

I hope you didn't lose a dog, I thought you had 2.
Happy Easter to you and your family!
Omg. I came here to the comments to find out about this too. I hope they are ok! I was super sad when their other doggie passed away 😔
@@SandraSanchez-hc6qs I didn't know any doggie passed away.
I've lost animals too and it's so hard.
It makes sense if she just didn't want to talk about a sad topic on this channel.
Orbit and Tibro, cleaver names.
I came into the comments for the same reason. I can’t remember the other dogs name, but they lost him before they moved to their current house. I’ll be so sad for them if they lost another one.
BOTH DOGS ARE ALIVE AND WELL!
I saw them both in today's video where she is making a bunch of breakfasts. I apologize for contributing to the possibility of a misunderstanding regarding the dogs. I just got confused by something she said.
Orbit & Tibro are still there, cute and begging for food to drop.
@@CarolineSanders100thank you for saying this! I was so worried she lost a pup. ❤

My mom been gone 54 yr from a car accident I miss her and my whole family I’m the last of 4 kids my dad had adopted my step moms 3 kids so my stepmom (mom) and me
Bless you ❤ I still have my biological Mom, but our relationship isn't the best. My adopted Mom traveled to the non physical realm almost 2 years ago, in April. She was my best friend and I miss her everyday, and still talk to her, in hopes she can hear me somehow. Time heals the open wound, but the scars remain.
Fun fact on pineapples, all of the pineapple’s sugar comes from the starches in the stem, so once it is picked it will never get any sweeter. Just one of the things I learned when we lived in Hawaii for 4 years.
So it won't sweeten as it ripens? That is so interesting.
@@lynnbogdanovich5284 grandma grows pineapples and yes. It gets sweeter once ripe or at least in the Caribbean it does
@@lynnbogdanovich5284 Pineapples do not ripen properly after they are picked. On your kitchen counter, the pineapple will become softer and juicier, but it will not become sweet. All of a pineapple's sugar comes from the starches in the stem of the plant. Once that source is cut off, the pineapple cannot make more sugar on its own.
@@cajbaf I agree. We lived on a military base in the middle of Oahu, that had fields on one side. After the fields were picked, we would go out and pick the ones left. Usually the undersized ones. They were so good.
I live in Australia where we grow tonnes of pineapples. however, THE BEST pineapple I ever had was when I have visited Hawaii! I think it is because they are left on the plant a lot longer and therefore are a lot sweeter and not as acidic as those we get here.
I love that your family member are so supportive of one another. Becky and dad coordinating at the house so mom can tend to someone in need. Beautiful. Not all families are this lovely.
I like paper lists as well
I just love how comfortable you are in front of the camera! I’m making it my mission to be this carefree on my channel🌿 thanks for the inspiration to be productive🫶🏼 Happy Easter! God Bless Us All

I live in Tulsa OK and we have had WinCo for about 2 yrs. I am not aware of any other WinCo stores in our area. I was worried that you were going to forget your shoes 😅
Yay! I am always glad when Becky shows me how alike we are as she nearly drops the bread flour 😂
Granted, my flour would have been all over the floor causing me to have a meltdown… but I can be thrilled that Becky caught hers 🥰
Happy Easter to you and your family. I love how you show respect to your mom by giving her flowers knowing that she has had a difficult week. She is very lucky to have you and your sister-in-laws to step in when she needs help.
Hi Becky! Happy Easter to you and your family! God bless all of you and a special prayer for your Mom and those she's caring for.
Becky would love WEGMANS that we have in Rochester NY.
Your energy is amazing! Very lovely how you thought of flowers for your mom.
You are amazing! I am also prepping today, a menu I have never done before and thanks to you I am stepping out of my box!
Ham, roasted Brussels, carrot, parsnips, focattia (yes I did!), smoked Gouda, Monterrey cheese-tray with fresh dill dip/spinach dip with veggies and oh my! An Easter cake with raspberry filling! And that’s for my brother and his wife and their first visit as they just moved to Houston! Just 4 of us but planned ahead and will be set for the rest of the week.
❤ Sounds just wonderful!
Yep I saw it! They had caraway by the celery season. Gosh, caraway adds Such flavor. Should have definitely gotten it👌🏻
I agree! Caraway should be in your pantry!
My favorite videos are of you shopping and cooking. But I have to say the freshly painted grow room looks so good. The plants really pop against the new light walls. Hope you had a blessed Easter!
When choosing a melon, you should smell the stem end….you should be able to smell a stronger scent from the stem end. The further into the season, you can shake the melon and hear the seeds moving around inside.
I get a lot of attention from other shoppers when I'm spotted shaking my cantaloupe!
Most of them move away from me. 😂
Lol, i get the side eye when sniffing all the cantaloupes. For watermelon, i give the "THUMP" test. The more resonant and deep the sound the better. Too big a yellow spot, and you could have an overripe melon.
Extra special love to your Mom.❤❤❤
You got this Becky! Changing plans are no fun but you always do great on the fly!
You are fantastic and such a lovely person. I love your channel. ❣️

Just love how you so organized prep your Easter menu.
prep prep prep is the only way to go with large holiday gatherings - since my grandparents passed (I’m mid sixties) Easter is just our own families (my Mother is one of four and I’m one of five) and Christmas we’re all in with tables set for 75 🤦♀️ farm families will eat 🇨🇦🙏
Becky as a greek I tell you baklava needs very thin see through filo so it turns out crispy with alot good quality butter, so it is a challenge to make filo on your own, only our giagias(grandmothers) which were experienced made them on their own ! but I know that if you try you will do it !!!!! so can't wait to see you do it😊oh and I made your moms/Joshes chocolate cake and omg it was excellent
Hi Becky in Australia Sultana’s are dried small green grapes very popular for snacking on & baked goods. Raisins are dried darker larger grapes . It’s most common to use Sultanas over raisins in baking here due to size.
I love your channel and have been binge watching since I discovered it last week. When you refer to your viewers as “friend” has really touched my heart. I’m going through a really bad depression and just feeling very lonely and friendless but your sweet nature, the kindness you display to friends, and your close relationship with your family have all helped to fill the void I’m feeling. Happy Easter to you and your family. Thank you for the fun video. Blessings❤️🌺
I am always amazed at how beautifully you (and your mum usually) organize these enormous gatherings. It is like a military operation. Interesting, though. Here in Southern Ontario, we no longer have open bulk bins anymore since Covid. They provide premeasured smallish amounts of the usual things in baggies. I prefer the old method but understand why they have changed it.
You can still your own quantities at Bulk Barn.

I think it’s great how your family comes together to pull things off. Great job!
raisins are red or blue grapes that are dried sultanas are dried green grapes thank you for your always wonderful videos hugs from a danish fan
I'm from the UK and sultanas are in every store! I was shocked when you said you had never seen one! We use them in so many things. Hot cross buns, fruit loaves, fruit cakes, fruit scones, bread pudding, curries and so much more. The three dried fruits I always have on hand are currants, raisins and sultanas. Check out some UK recipes Becky (Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood, John Kirkwood) I think you'll be surprised.
We don't have plastic bags to put produce etc here in the UK any more. We are cutting down on plastic use and so there are no plastic carrier bags for packing the shopping into, we have to bring our own bags. The majority of packaging is also recyclable now which is so good as we are doing our bit to help the planet and erase plastic in the oceans.
Your video content is one of the best on UA-cam and I always look forward to watching you. Thank you for all your hard work bringing and for bringing us in to share parts of your life 🙂
May you have a happy Easter. Christ's Risen!

‘Pack your own groceries’ here in the Netherlands we always do it ourselves. It’s really American that your groceries are packed at the checkout 💕
I saw the pictures of your Easter and it looks like the kids had so much fun.
I like the fact that you always have your hair clipped up when you’re cooking. It drives me nuts to see someone cooking with their hair down, and it’s long. I also learn so much when I watch your videos. And I’m 70 years old.😳
I so agree. It also drives me nuts to see others cooking and using their hands to brush their hair out of their face and then handling food. I love Becky and her videos
Why does it bother you when you’re not even consuming the food? It doesn’t bother me even if I am! Consuming hair could never harm anyone, actually.
Omg I have the same hair ICK issue !!!!
I dont we never see what she loooks like with her hair down. I want to
@@cynthiafisher9907lol ikr i think her hair always up is odd. But thats just me
Everyone in your family is blessed by all you give and do at the holidays. I'm on a strict food budget and go into shock at how much your grocery shopping hauls must cost. Of course you are filming it so that pays for it I suppose.
Thompson seedless grapes are also called Sultana grapes ..and dried are called golden raisins
for a cantaloupe or honeydew melon, press and smell the "button" where the stem was. if it gives a little it should be ripe. if it's hard as a rock, it's not ready. if it smells ripe it's good. if it smells like nothing or has an overly-ripe smell, it's not ready/over-ready respectively
Blessed Easter to you and your family Becky.❤

Hello, i love how your family comes together to get things done! Happy Easter!
I have a recipe suggestion for you - English muffins. They are surprisingly easy to make and are so much better than store bought. Also, they make a great breakfast sandwich. (They are not baked in the oven, but fried on the stove, ideally in a cast iron pan.)
We love English muffins and it sounds like they would be fun to try! Do you have a reliable, delicious recipe to share? So many recipes I pull up online are not consistently good.
@@sortathesame8701 I have made some both from Preppy Kitchen and Natashas Kitchen and both came out great. My next try may be John Kirkwood as I’ve recently made a few really good recipes from him. (I have previously used a round 3 inch cookie cutter but next time I’m just going to cut the dough into pieces and weigh each one for consistency.) Enjoy!!!
I think she has made them before & mentioned how good they were. Or maybe she said she wanted to try making them. Ireally think she already did though!
Love watching you work as I work in my house! I'm also loving the scratch pantry website. It's a gift that keeps on giving! Thanks for that! Cantelope melons can be checked by smelling the navel. No smell means it's not ripe. Also, pineapples can be checked by pulling a middle leaf. If it pulls out easily, it's ripe but be careful as the tips of pineapple leaves bite back!
I am sending your mother positive vibes and prayers ❤
I’ve always used active dry yeast and instant yeast interchangeably and have never had a problem.
