Sounds great...excellent video of before and after sound with several scenarios...I just put one on my 2022 Grizzly XTR and love it!
Thanks!
Awesome. Great sound for the price!
Exactly what I thought you would say. I really think it just makes the Grizzly sound like it should from the factory. Lower and a little more growl.
Exactly. Love it.
I’ve got a 2013 Grizzly 700, and have been running a 2R exhaust tip for years. I personally like the throaty sound of it!
Oh yeah. Sounds much better!
Did you run a tuner or no?
@@nathanwhite509 Yes. Fortunately, I fell into a free tuner. Once I got that installed, I put the 2R on
At first I thought it would be too loud, but it actually make it sound as it should
Thanks! I agree! Much happier with the sound.
Sounds much better
I just picked up my new ‘23 Grizzly SE last weekend and I think this is going to be my first “mod” and changing out the stupid halogen high beam light. I don’t really feel like doing a tuner and stuff yet would rather get some miles on it first. Really enjoying your videos I’ve been binge watching them all day lol. I also have the rear cargo box and after watching your video on what you keep in it I went right on Amazon and pretty much ordered all the same items haha.
Glad I could help with your box supplies!
I went with the tuner prior to the tip just so I could manipulate the A/F ratio with the change in back pressure. Though, I have heard of people using the tip without one as well.
Glad you are enjoying the videos. I have quite a few more for the coming weeks!
Ride on!
@@blaze_atv After doing some reaserch on the turner and seeing how easy they are to install I will probably do one before next spring. I'm in Minnesota so my main focus is to get miles on before winter hits lol
@@dslpwr Understandable! The tuner itself is very easy to install. Just a bummer that is 3-4x the price of the exhaust tip lol.
Sounds good with tip. Thats what I have on mine plus the AIS delete. We can only 96 decibels here in Wisconsin so sometimes having aftermarket pipes is to loud. I actually dont like it to loud when riding with friends and family. I got the 2R tip on 2016 grizzley and whiskey bent tip on our 2021 cfmoto cforce 800xc. They sound plenty good and keeps the DNR happy and people in the towns and camp sites and parks. When I was younger I never cared but being alittle older now I kinda like being able to actually hear my machine and not just a loud pipe. Good choice.
I used to want my machines as loud as possible. Now, I just want it a little deeper and this did the trick. And, was much less expensive than a full exhaust!
Thanks for checking out the video!
Can you do a review on the tires and the trailer that you use
@@alloutdoors1277 I’ve been planning to do a tire review for about 8 months now, just haven’t had the time! Lol. I can do the trailer as well. Good idea.
Spoiler alert: love the tires, trailer is subpar.
The first mod I did on my 2021 grizzly. Sounds soooooo much better and better flow. 👍
Oh yeah. Huge improvement.
I have the same up on my Kodiak and love the sound and performance I have the k&n filter in my ehs airbox and 2R tip. You should do your dads also he will love it! Can share with me info on the top handle bar bulb your lights looks great 👍🏽
I think the Old Man wishes he wouldn’t have given me his tuner after he heard this sound, lol. He wants the tip real bad now.

Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the link I’m gone to order an try them. I really enjoy your content also tell your dad he is a truly cool dad, awesome 😎
@@mcosby6832 thanks bud! He is the best!
The bulbs should work fine. We put them in the Old Man’s Kodiak for all three lights and they worked there too. Brightened them all up!
It sure does sound a whole lot better than stock and looked like an easy install also. However, it doesn't scratch my exhaust sound itch. I'm new to AZ, but I believe there is no decibel limit on exhausts here.. But it's good to know I'll have an alternative if I ever get tired of the Barker's.
Probably not loud enough for you if you are interested in Barker’s lol. This is about the exact amount of noise I wanted out of it while making it deeper.
@@blaze_atv I noticed you had the quad lock case on the Grizz. I've been looking into those also, did you get the motorcycle handlebar mount one? When I was looking on their website there were so many options I got confused. Also, do you think they're worth the steep price tag?
I absolutely LOVE the Quadlock. I got an off brand one off of eBay that worked really well too (and was only like $15) but I wanted the wireless charger which is essentially why I changed to Quadlock.
Yeah, I got the motorcycle handlebar mount.
@@blaze_atv Ah okay, I've got a Pixel 7 Pro and the wireless charge on these phones is super slow at 10W. It barely keeps up with the battery drain when in my vehicle when I'm driving so I might just get the USB charger that runs off the battery.
@@h2beezy2 I didn’t get the charger to “charge,” I got it to “maintain” as I’m using maps and whatnot.
If you don’t want the wireless charger, you could just get the off brand eBay mount and run a charge cord to the aux port. That’s what I used to do and what the Old Man still does.
I'm not much of a fan of loud exhaust, but that sounds nice and throaty over obnoxiously loud. I'd do that. Cheers.
Thanks buddy! I’ll be honest, my last four quads (all sport quads) I made as loud as possible. I didn’t want that here, just a different sound. Getting too old for the noise lol and also don’t want it disrupting the comms or videos.
I agree. I think it is definitely more throaty and only slightly louder.
Cheers!
Nice comparison. Did you consider the Whiskey Bent?? And which 2R is that? Unless there’s only one
I did consider the Whiskey Bent but like the looks of the 2R better as well as the sound clips I had heard.
To my knowledge, there is only one 2R for the Grizzly
It sounds very good, not so loud but it sounds good.
Did you feel a little more power? Or is it the same!
Thanks! Haven’t had much of a chance to test it out. From a quick test, feels like it added a bit of power but I added the EHS Tuner and Airbox mod not too far before so tough to tell.
@@blaze_atv
Could you tell me about the EHS tuner and the Airbox mode please.
How did you get it?
Or is there a website?
Kind regards!
I did a video on the tuner and airbox mod as well. You can purchase them directly from the EHS website. ua-cam.com/video/hFayG_0qtzY/v-deo.html
I got myself a new 2023 grizzly se for the upcoming season and i have eyeballing these 2rr tips , Is it as easy as it looks just 4 bolts and done?
Yep, the tip is just four bolts. I already had my tuner though.
@@blaze_atv Do I need a tuner?
@@SmarOneNine I can’t answer that question for sure. I know there are people out there running the 2r tip without a tuner. I didn’t want to do it due to how lean they already run from factory. I waited until I got a tuner to do the tip.
Do you have to get the tunner
I’ve heard it both ways. Personally, I didn’t want to do any exhaust modifications until I had a tuner.
I tried it but ended up with the whiskey bent 1.5” with a 45. The 2R was just to much
Too loud?
@@blaze_atv yea, I use mine for hunting and pulling the kids on their sled so they were getting blasted lol. I downloaded the decibel meeter app and the whiskey bent 1.5” is louder than stock but quieter than the 2R. So kinda right in the middle. On my last grizz I had a barkers exhaust with quiet core, I felt like that was even quieter than the 2R but I could be wrong, that was a while ago
@@chrisbeasley8342 Gotcha. Makes sense. All depends what you do with it. To each his own!
When’s next video
Unfortunately don’t have any rides planned until early May. Trying to get out there beforehand.
Where did you order tip from...good video..
2rracing.com
And thanks!
Thanks...just order it,,👍
Awesome. Enjoy!
One thing I did do before putting the tip on was put multiple layers of heat tape on the fender and rear storage. I have heard people mentioning that it can melt the plastics otherwise.
Other than that, simple install. Didn’t even have to change my tuner settings!
Horrible
It’s not for everyone! I appreciate your opinion!
