Chicks are great 😊 They are Always going to need a complete chick starter for adequate nutrition though, and you can't beat having a thermometer in the brooder it takes away the guess work. Best of luck with them 😊

I love that you fought for them ❤️ I know most chickens owners will just let them die because “it happens,” but I love that you did all you could. We just got meat chicks and we lost 5 to these weird stroke-like symptoms: their head flopping around like they didn’t know which way was up, and we think it may have been a too high protein diet where their bodies were growing too fast 😭 so sad.

Oh that is so sad! But yes, we tried our best with the natural remedies and TLC to keep them alive and now they are doing so well!

I need help with a chick he or she is name pecan an its getting seizures it starts to run in circles and falling down or even when we carry it falls but I catch it in Time before it falls. Unless if it not a seizure idk what it can be but it seems dangerous since it hit's itself on the wall and most likely when it running around and falling it can even hit its other siblings and the water or even its food bowl٫ Since you said when the seizure happen like it shakes and put it head down is not similar too what happens with mine chick but whatever it is I have to let thing end

Would he move his head back and move it in circles? My chicken has started doing that but hes about 3 years old. He was always healthy until about a couple of days ago.

Yes he did that as well! Its usually a result of nutrient deficiencies.

Mine is right now. She can't stand either. She flops to one side and lays.

@@ediblegardening I'm have the same with my little 1 week silkie. It is so scary. Though we were close to losing it. Giving vit e and selenium but not getting better. In fact worse today.

@@michelledix1781 We thought we would loose her as well. Make sure it is not too warm and feed them with a syringe carefully. We mixed the raw egg with some water and minerals and she would take a few drops from the syringe. Eventually she pulled through and grew up healthy.
