I’ve found the less I touch the garment the faster I am. I shoot and measure at the same time. Fold and put in bag at same time. Don’t know if that is helpful,but thought some might appreciate.
I do the same, everything in 3 minutes for one item for me this way. I also take a picture with the measurements and SKU # listed on a whiteboard WITH the item on the scale next to it. Makes for easy listing too!
So where is the coat or blazer you know the checkered one you said was worth almost 300 bucks????

It’s interesting to know your day to day work, but thrift hauls are my favorite
I’m getting to the point where I no longer pick up black items that need lint rolling. It’s incredibly time consuming to get all the lint off! I’m very picky though. I’ve used tweezers to pick off stuck on lint. I want my items to look as close to perfect as possible. I definitely never source the older lululemon Luon leggings. They are a lint magnet!
I'm not sure if you'll see this question, but I'm curious if you mark your prices higher on Poshmark to account for the offers you send? I use Posher VA to send offers as well but I never know if I should mark items up or mark them more competitively
thrift store are saturated with sellers - market saturated with with sellers?
How do you handle the thrift store smell? Do you wash your items? Some items?
She only washes to stain treat. Most items shouldn't have a thrift smell. It's usually whatever the prev owner smell was. IE musty, laundry, perfume, smoke, ect. Most of the items I pick up have zero smell at all. I am super sensitive to smell too! :)
Do you still sell your inventory tracking sheet??
Do the size dots wear off?
It normally means either it's a current item but you can't find it or it's an old Lulu item. Their older stuff either have a size dot with only the size on it or none at all!
