Hello my dear teacher. I wonder if you would explain or make a video about the expression of the Let's +get +past participle(pp)or the Let's +get +verb+ing
As a native speaker, I must say, you do a great job of breaking down the intricacies of our ridiculous spoken language.
It does! Most of my videos do, even if they don't come on automatically. Press the CC button at the bottom of the player.
Rachel, learning English has since become such an enjoyable journey because of your videos! Thanks so much!
You're very welcome!
Rachel's English thank u so,so much!

I'm glad I found you . I am living for almost twenty years in country the USA and still have a very bad pronounciation. This year I made my number one priority the improvement of my English . Thank you.
I'm currently teaching English and I've actually lived in the US before, but I've never completely achieved to have a super natural American accent. Now that I watch your videos I think I'm improving a lot. THANKS A LOT!

I'm from Brazil and I love to talk in English with people around the world, and you're a great teacher.
I'd like to congratulate you for the great job you are always doing with us.
Yes, you can pronounce it that way. See my video on Thanksgiving where I explain that topic a bit more.
Actually, I'm working on a video on that topic right now. It will be published in the next several weeks. :)
It was a choice I made back at the beginning, and it makes sense to me, but I do understand there will always be differences of opinion!
Best, Rachel

It really depends on the character being played. They way I speak / how I teach is 'standard' - which is how many in Hollywood movies talk.

Rachel is the best!
@nicascia98 If you reduce THE to [ə], it will sound like A, that is how we reduce it. So, "He teaches the course" will sound like "He teaches a course". So, make sure you give it a TH sound: [ðə]
@rexduranzelandony It does not have to do with region, but personal choice. It is definitely much more comment to pronounce it as you are used to hearing it, like the insect.

@zhijie1115 AH! Good question. Because when the T comes between and R and a vowel, it can also be a flap T: Sort of, party, part of, etc.
