    Hi Kevin 👋 I wish you could make a video about why so many native Americans used, for example, must' of instead must've, would of, insted would've etc etc thanks you 😊

    Kevin and Liza, you already know that I admire you and that you're probably the best on UA-cam. I ran into this and just wanted to share with you my humble comment on the matter: Mr. Kris Amerikos, you are wrong. (1) At the beginning you said that "speak and talk" have the same meaning and then you said that "speak" is more formal, etc., etc. (2) We are all human beings and make mistakes. That is the truth. But the teacher is the model for the students, and when we teach we cannot make mistakes. Imagine a medicine or chemistry professor making mistakes! (3) your videos show some people saying "talk in English" Well, they were just adding a colloquial touch, but colloquial doesn't mean it's correct; it means familiar or homely. Kevin and Liza are right (you're just angry because they corrected you, hahaha) I can tell you this because I studied philology, languages and linguistics, and I have been a university professor for more than 30 years. You have made so many mistakes in this video! stop pretending you're a teacher; You should study or get a job. take a look at these sentences! Do you speak like that?... A. Do you talk English? B. I talk in three languages. C. She was talking in English all the time. Ha, ha, ha.

    But I watched the video of Chris, and I think he has a point. To talk in English - also makes sence in certain situations.

      If you want to sound weird, use “talk in English.” It’s really up to you.

    • @jeppylianza6879
      @jeppylianza6879 Рік тому +1

      @Fredy Lopez That is the common mistake of native speakers using the phrase “ to talk in English. “ to speak English” is the correct phrase you can use in every situation. Just like Kevin said “ if you want to sound weird or strange, use talk in English “.

    Talk in English, speak in English and speak English are all possible. But their usage depends on context.

    ✅You speak in public ✅speak is more formal than talk ✅ *with* is more formal than *to* ✅* talk to* is most common and natural ✅ avoid *speak with*
