Hi dear, it’s got no specific name, just type in fondant moulds and they will pop up, that was how I found it, some are Wilton products which I bought from the store.
Thank you soo much for sharing your knowledge with the entire world..May god bless you and your work.aameen what is the brand of gold dust did you use?did you wait for the crown to dry and then you apply gold
Amen 🙏🏽 thanks dear. The brand is”ideale” metallic gold, you can also get it in other brands like “cake lace” , yes I let it dry before applying the gold, thanks for watching my video, I’m glad you found it helpful.
The moulds don’t have a specific name, some are Wilton product I bought from the store, others I got from Amazon and Ali express, just type fondant moulds and it will pop up. I will post on a different video the moulds soon, hope this helps, thanks
Thanks dear, I used water, but you can make your own glue by mixing water and glucose or water and fondant. 90% of the time I use water, it sticks fine.
That's absolutely beautiful. I'm loving the details! Your gold dust looks so realistic. Could you link the product for me ? Which lustre dust do you use here? It's so beautiful 😍
Hi dear, Thank you so much for the kind words. I use either the Pastry Idéale Powder Color in the colour gold OR Cake Lace Decorative Metallics in gold. I bought it from a store called Flower Confections or you can find it on Amazon. To increase the lustre I mix the powder with a small quantity of vodka to make a semi-paste-like liquid. Hope this helps!
When it’s dry after 3-5 days , you gently wiggle it until it comes off, if it proves difficult, just use a very flat knife to lift it off the fondant .
Thanks for subscribing, I used fondant mixed with tylose powder, moulds used are Wilton mould, and some other gum paste moulds I bought from the store, you can find them on Amazon and Ali express., I used water to attach the moulds to the crown frame., it took 3 days to dry, it dries perfectly in 5 days., gold paint was done with metallic gold dust mixed with vodka, I hope this help, thanks
Hi dear, sorry I don’t have a link, but the fondant I used is store bought, I mixed it with tylose powder. The gold is metallic gold dust ( ideale brand) which I bought from the store ( Golda kitchen) but you can find it online, I mixed it with vodka. The moulds I bought from Michael’s , it’s Wilton product, I bought the pink ones on Ali express, you can also find them on Amazon, I hope this helps. Thanks
Hi dear, you have to mix the fondant with tylose powder ( few teaspoons depending on the quantity of the fondant) or you can use gum paste which dries in 24hrs but fondant takes 3-5 days to dry perfectly,
There are different fondant recipes , here is one : Marshmallow -300g- melt in microwave gradually in seconds Water- 2tbs White chocolate- 1/2 cup, melt slightly or add direct to melted marshmallow Mix until there is no lumps Add gel food colour as desired Add vanilla-1tps, I use clear vanilla Mix well Work in icing sugar with your hands until firm Then knead until very smooth If it cracks add a little shortening And it’s ready for use. . I save my time and use store bought fondant. I hope this help.
The tools I used are: Wilton mould Some random gum paste moulds I got from the store, you can find them on Amazon and Ali express Clear plastic which I used in wrapping my cylinder Cylinder to help form the shape of the crown Small angled spatula Fondant tools . Ingredients are : Fondant mixed with tylose powder Water for gluing Corn starch for table surface I hope this help Thanks
Fondant dries at different times depending on what you use it for. Using only fondant for the crown will take 5days or more, if you mix it with gum paste it will dry in 2-3 days, you can also use only the gum paste in making the crown and it will dry in few hours, I hope I answered your question.
Hi dear, I didn’t use my own recipe in the video, I used a pre-made fondant I bought at the store. There are different types of fondant recipes, you can find more details online but here’s a simple recipe/ingredients that should suit your needs: approximately Marshmallow (300grams) (melted), water (3-4 tsps), vanilla flavour (1/2 tsp), and icing sugar (i prefer to add this till the mixture firms up) with a little white chocolate (secret ingredient!) (50grams) to increase elasticity. I will upload a video with more details. Hope that helps!

Hi Rosa, all you need to do is rub cornstarch on the plastic before putting the fondant around it. And when removing it, gradually wiggle the plastics out. You can even use a flat knife and run it around the plastic as if you are taking a cake out of the pan, do this very gently. Hopefully that works, and hopefully I will drop a tutorial on it soon. Have a great day!

Hi dear, I dont speak Spanish, but in case this is what you are looking for, I used Wilton gum paste and sometimes water to glue my items. Hope that helps!
You can use water to stick the fondant or they do sell fondant glue at any cake accessories shop, you can also make your own glue by mixing water with glucose, honey is also an option, I will make a video of different glue types soon, To dry the fondant , you just leave it open on your table, it takes 3-5 days to dry perfectly. Thanks

This is not an edible gold so dont waste your money

Hello what if i add water only to luster dust?
Nice video, I wanted to see how you removed the transparent cylinder
Once you leave it to dry, you can remove it easily, while being careful. I had a very nice result, trying it out. I left the crown for about 48hours.
When it’s dry after 3-5 days , you gently wiggle it until it comes off, if it proves difficult, just use a very flat knife to lift it off the fondant .
Thank you for sharing😍

What kind of sticky paste you use to stick those little accents?
Water
That was cool!
What do u use for the crown mould is it gum paste or fondant?
Gum paste mixed with fondant
You can use only fondant but it will take a longer time to dry, you can also use only gum paste which dries much faster
What liquid to mix in gold colour powder???
Hi dear, gold dust was mixed with vodka, it dry faster and gives it a very good shiny finish, thanks

Can you please share me fondant mould links which you have used for the crown toppers
Hi dear, I got them from Amazon and Ali express.
What we have to stick with to join the ends of crown
Just use water or fondant glue ( sold in stores) or make your own glue by mixing a little water to a small pcs of fondant , let it be wet and sticky.
Lovely. Thank you for this. Can you please share with me the mould you used please. I would like purchase. :)

Yes you can get them on Amazon and Ali express
They are also sold in cake accessories shops
Thanks for you
Is it fondant paste or pastillage?
It’s fondant mixed with tylose powder.
Can the crown set in a day?
Hi, the crown takes 3-5 day when using only fondant. But with ready-made gum-paste, it can dry within 24 hour, but not as strong.
Hello ma pls is this fondant icing?
Yes it’s fondant mixed with tylose powder.
I wanted to see how you remove the plastic ?? Cause I tried and it broke....
Hi Rosa, all you need to do is rub cornstarch on the plastic before putting the fondant around it. And when removing it, gradually wiggle the plastics out. The crown takes 3-5 days to dry properly, once very dry it won’t break because of the Tylose powder in the mix.
Please fondant and pastilarge which one is better for crown making
