He's saying "Avada K'davra" it's a spell. Specifically "The Killing Curse" one of the three forbidden curses. The other two are the "Imperious Curse", which is mind control. And "Cruciatus Curse", which is torture.
That was fun! I never thought to try it and I felt really good about it because of your direction. He was saying “avada kedavra” aka the killing curse.
@@ImproveYourVoice I did. I loved it. I didn’t think I could do voices, but it was lack of knowledge on how. It really opened my mind and I’ve been practicing.
Hey Darren, does stretching/getting a massage lower your voice long term if you do it regularly? I have always noticed my voice sounds similar to how it does in the morning after getting a massage or yoga, but generally the effect wears off in the next hour.
Not really because all the old habits and the way you use your body slip back to how they were. You need to change the habits and adopt new healthy ones that support this kind of effortlessness and relaxation.
Wow ! I love Harry Potter series ❤️ Can you please do a character review of Severus Snape ??? And, also 😅 -Rufus Sewell (although he's an actor, his voice doesn't seem to be trained to me, but maybe I'm wrong. I saw him in Charles II ) -Richard Dawkins -Noam Chomsky Thanks so much ❤️
Ironically considering how deep Ralph Fiennes voice is as Voldemort, in the books, Voldemort’s voice is described as unusually high pitched and sibilant, evocative of a snake’s hiss, and he rarely yells or raises his voice at all. His voice is described as breathy and soft though, which matches Fiennes interpretation. Also Voldemort is much more monstrous looking in the books. Extremely tall and skeletally thin, with a flat, snake-like face, and large red eyes with slit pupils.
@@zango3134 no, the voice is wrong, the face is wrong, the body proportions are wrong, the costume is wrong. Even the height is wrong. Literally, basically everything is wrong. Voldemort in the movies is absolutely nothing like he is in the books.
@@zango3134 yes. In the books, Voldemort is explicitly described as hooded. He doesn’t wear a hood at all in the movies. Also his robes are very long and black in the books, whereas in the last few movies they’re greenish grey

So apparently, the film-makers wanted Voldie's voice to sound somewhat snakelike...
I think you handled it pretty well!
3:37 you should watch Red Notice. There was this evil guy who strangles people, and he sounds EXACTLY like that. He was played by Chris Diamantopoulos
I couldn’t stop laughing 😂 I love these videos, I love your voice impressions!!

2:51 I'm sorry but I'm just distracted by how Voldemort is holding his wand, Harry could just easily just kick it out of his hands & across the room.

He uses legilimence to read Harry’s mind so he can read Harry’s intentions in turn
