I love this. I only started watching slow tv like this since my daughter of 2 has a hard time falling asleep at night. No other video makes her so calm and quiet. Thank you for posting this. I've been looking forward to it since i first saw your postings of the Montenegro portion of this route (Bar to Bijelo Polje). If, like the other section of the line, you ever get around to doing video of this in winter, that would be great also. I do hope progress is being made in repairing and modernizing the railway infrastructure of Serbia and the other countries of the former Yugoslavia. It truly is a beautiful part of the world that has sadly been overlooked by many, it seems. Continuing on that theme, there are a few other routes in your region that, if you get the chance, would be wonderful to see get your video treatment. One is the Bohinj Railway that runs from Trieste, Italy to Jesenice, Slovenia, through the mountains of western Slovenia. Two other lines are joined together, those being the Rijeka-Zagreb Line in Croatia, which also connects at Ogulin and Ostarije to the Lika Railway down to the port city of Split. The Rijeka to Ogulin section passes through some beautiful terrain, and by the look of it, much of the line down to Split runs right through the mountain chain in that part of Croatia. Anyway, whatever videos you end up gracing us with going forward, I eagerly anticipate the quality you bring to your postings, both in the visuals themselves, and the much-appreciated, useful information about each line/railway you ride along. Thanks, again.
You're welcome Robert! I plan to record the mentioned lines, as well as this line in the winter - snowy time. I need a lot of time and organization for all of that, so don't mind the longer wait for the realization.
Many, many thanks for this video! It`s a shame that most of the line have such a poor maintenance, but the scenery is unique! And, the engeneering and building work are also to be mentioned - it`s a masterpiece of work to project and build this line! I mean the whole line Beograd - Bar - I`ve seen the part from Bijelo Polje to Bar before - it`s also very beautiful. Greetings from Bulgaria and Cheers! :)
Dobar dan! Thank you very much indeed for this fantastic video from a railway journey in the engine - a Cab ride - from Bijelo Polje all the way to Beograd Centar and Zemun. We were three not too young Swedish gentlemen who travelled from Beograd to Podgorica in 2010 and we proceeded to Bar. I very much appreciate that you wrote the length of all tunnels and bridges the line passes. I have also very much appreciated the cab rides Bijelo Polje - Bar and vice versa as Sarajevo - the border BiH/Croatia and v.v. but in those films you have not written the length of all tunnels and bridges which I miss. I vade also looked at the cab ride from the border between Kosovo and Serbia up to Kraljevo - also very nice. As nice as the scenery is, it's also a really sad watch. The neglect on some parts of the infrastructure is just sad. The Belgrade-Budapest line is of priority. I was in Hungary for 2 weeks and had to go visit a relative in a smaller city, which is served on that line. It’s usually really busy with local and international traffic going by at least every 30 minutes or so. It's a shame that the train tracks are in such poor condition. The journey becomes endless. Otherwise it is a beautiful video. The only advantage I see in almost always going so slowly is that you can see the wonderful landscape in more detail. Thanks for your video
Wow, impressive decor, never been in the Balkans' area, so nice i felt in love at first sight ❤ But infrastructures are bad, i mean, 324km in 7h+ ? Less than 50km/h average 😅 ? I'm french, the Paris RER (Réseau Express Régional, meaning Local Express Network) has a top speed of 120km/h and average (stopping every 3 to 4 kms) of nearly 90km/h. Slowest type on the network, because stopping soo much ^^ Huge boost needed to enter the 21st century, with a bright future for tourism and merchandises, that is if the network's owner(s) (maybe the state ?) is/are ready to put it up to the state of the art !!! Very nice video, thanks for your time and efforts ❤🖖
Woow! Your Cabview-Video is really very impressive! I feel a great desire to be able to experience this journey myself ;-). May I ask you? You were the train driver on this route, weren't you? You know all the places, the speed of the train and the disturbances of the same. I'm really more than impressed! It really is like being there. Your channel is of course subscribed. Now look at your next videos ;-)). Greetings from Innsbruck/Austria.
Well done Duletrain :) Scenery are true amazing! Just what is a little sad is a rails condition, so poooor for one country that they can not fix the rail tracks even for 80kmh like it was before on many parts of the railway Beograd Bar! 30kmh most of time is too heavy, especially for the passengers, and in the same time for POOR Srbija Voz company. Is it a company or Joke company? Also the whole line seems is to empty without any trains, just few... Sad times for an old JZ from the past when there were a lot of trains + freights. Anyway the point of my comment is to congrats to You for (as I said) amazing video that you shared to the world, and second I have to share for all others who read the comments that this condition of this beautiful route is SUX! Almost watch the whole video and really enjoyed, but tracks and all other infrastructure things is like want telling us something with their sadness from the happy past times when there was more than 5-6 pair of the trains to Bar and back to Belgrade, Subotica, Nis, Novi Sad + many others... History! once again thanks a lot for sharing this one with us, with the world! All the best, N
Thank you very much! Everything you wrote is absolutely right. Until just ten years ago, the speeds on that railway line were much higher than they are now. There was also a lot of passenger and freight traffic. During the off-season time there is only one train left between Beograd and Bar, night train. This train, from which the video was taken, stops running in September. A deplorable situation has arisen.
Now it's possible to enjoy the complete ride from Bar to Beograd on this channel. I was waiting for that so long. It's a pity so see the train seeking through the mountains with a maximum speed of 30km/h. In Montenegro it was possible to ride with at least an average of 50-70 km/h. But I guess in two years the state of maintenance in Montenegro is crashing down because now they have to pay the rates from the chinese credit for their new highway now running close to the railroad from Podgorica to Kolasin.
That's right. Unfortunately, the overhaul of the railway line through Serbia has been postponed year after year and has been so for decades. If the overhaul is carried out, it will mean returning the railway line to the condition it was in fifteen years ago. There are no upgrades or modernizations planned.
@@dulevoz I understand. I feel very upset about it as well. I am from Backa by birth and the Subotica Novi Sad line seems even worse. I remember it being so much better before Yugoslavia fell apart. I still feel very nostalgic though and love watching your videos. 💖
@@OmniaInNumerisSitaSunt Most of the railway lines in this area have retained the nostalgic look of the railways from the former Yugoslavia. I'm glad you love it.
Vidi se ozbiljan rad. I priprema i tehnika i montaza. Jeste li po profesiji montazer? Sve govori u prilog tome. Bas nista da se zameri... Cestitam od srca. Inace, u kom programu ste radili animaciju marsute pocevsi od vremena 1:22? Hvala.
this is a really nice cab ride, passing through desolate and almost inhabited parts of Serbia and Bosnia. Though it's a pity to see the railway in this state. Are there any plans to renovate the line, in order to increase a bit the maximum speed? could there be problems with the section that passes through Bosnia-Herzegovina? Greetings from Italy. Edit: what's the story behind the unfinished railway at 5:42:15?
That section is in second part of Bosnia called ''Republic of Srpska'', they have autonomy, and a veto when it comes to decision making of the whole country in international relations. So for now no one wants to make problems because of a small 10km train track.
Thank you. The fact that the railway line passes through Bosnia and Herzegovina (Republic of Srpska) is no problem for the overhaul and modernization of the line. Railway line from Valjevo to Loznica is one of the old, failed state projects. Politics does its thing and today there is neither strong justification nor money to continue building that line.
Old timetables from the 80s are telling us the fast train from Beograd to Bar made it in only six hours. Nowadays - in your dreams... It's just sad how many railways in this region are neglected so badly.
@duelevoz thank you for this interesting video! I just rode the line between Kolašin and Podgorica two days ago. At the moment the worst parte regarding the speed is in Serbia? The speed and the general status of the line in the montenegrin section has been enhanced compared to the video of five years ago? Hvala i pozdrav!
The scenery is just stunning. The speed though is from early 19th century. It's nice if you're behind your screen watching this beauty, but really bad if you have to travel. One thing I can't understand. They can build this line, but they can't maintain it?
Some other lines are being repaired, hopefully same will happen with this one.. Beograd- Bar line has 476KM through the mountains of Serbia and Montenegro, through difficult terrain, 254 tunnels and 234 bridges, one of them highest in Europe at the time, this would be impossible to be built in 2023 because the cost would be astronomical for a small country, even with the best technology, and only small number of people use the train, half a million houses are empty or abandoned in Serbia, mostly in the South.
Beautiful video. Enjoying from Vancouver,Canada.

These videos are the best for workouts with exercise bike. Also I usually set speed to x1.5 =)
Ammazzziiinnnggg... Thanx a lot... 👍🏼👍🏼

i have never seen so many tunnels like here! Its more like a tube !
It's a stunning video! Thanks a lot!🇺🇦💪💪💪😎🌟
You're welcome.
why does this flag have to be behind it what the shit is a comment without this crap
It's a shame that the train tracks are in such poor condition. The journey becomes endless. Otherwise it is a beautiful video. The only advantage I see in almost always going so slowly is that you can see the wonderful landscape in more detail. Thanks for your video
The railway reconstruction project is finished.
210 km trough Serbia for speeds of 80-120 km/h.
The works will begin in 2025.
Wow, impressive decor, never been in the Balkans' area, so nice i felt in love at first sight ❤
But infrastructures are bad, i mean, 324km in 7h+ ? Less than 50km/h average 😅 ?
I'm french, the Paris RER (Réseau Express Régional, meaning Local Express Network) has a top speed of 120km/h and average (stopping every 3 to 4 kms) of nearly 90km/h. Slowest type on the network, because stopping soo much ^^
Huge boost needed to enter the 21st century, with a bright future for tourism and merchandises, that is if the network's owner(s) (maybe the state ?) is/are ready to put it up to the state of the art !!!

Well done Duletrain :)
Scenery are true amazing!
All the best,
N
Thank you very much! Everything you wrote is absolutely right. Until just ten years ago, the speeds on that railway line were much higher than they are now. There was also a lot of passenger and freight traffic. During the off-season time there is only one train left between Beograd and Bar, night train. This train, from which the video was taken, stops running in September. A deplorable situation has arisen.
To sam cekao. Hvala ti
Super video ! Uradi zimsku verziju Sarajevo Mostar !!!
Hvala. Potrudiću se.
Spectacular route !!!
Thanks for the Video, the line is now complete (Bar-Beogard). 30km/h for many many kilometers on a main line is not good.
You're welcome. Unfortunately, a major lack of maintenance has led to this.
First here and I know I’m going to enjoy this one!
I'm glad to hear that.
@@dulevoz Thanks! Love this route, actually just went from Bar to Belgrade on the sleeper a couple of days ago!
Hvala. U julu ove godine.
It is slow but because it's so scenic you don't mind it that much. 🥰👍🙋🏻♀
Exactly, but maybe the track condition could have been a little better, at least where it's 10km/h.
@@dulevoz I understand. I feel very upset about it as well. I am from Backa by birth and the Subotica Novi Sad line seems even worse. I remember it being so much better before Yugoslavia fell apart. I still feel very nostalgic though and love watching your videos. 💖
@@OmniaInNumerisSitaSunt Subotica - Novi Sad line started reconstruction and modernization a few months ago
@@amarillorose7810 That's good to hear. 🙋🏻♀
Hvala.
why they don't put such a wonderful track in Train Simulator I don't know
Very interesting
this is a really nice cab ride, passing through desolate and almost inhabited parts of Serbia and Bosnia.
Nice video!

Thank you!

Spectacular route so far (only just past half way).
You're welcome. Yes, the state of the infrastructure, as well as the speeds, is quite worse in Serbia.
Hvala. Nažalost.
