On holes that don't want to clear out, add a bit of new solder to the tip of your desoldering iron first, that new solder will mix with the solder in the hole as well as provide a much greater contact to transfer heat and make it much easier to remove.
From OBD1 P75 to Po6 and Pr4 you can convert almost anything to VTEC when chipped or hondata
Yup most just call it a p28 coverstion.
This was my original Integras LS ECU.
What I had running it before was a p28 that had the factory uv chip in the chip location.
One day it stopped operation of the fuel pump so I added VTEC to my p75 backup ECU here.
Thanks
You're welcome!
What’s the vtec engage and redline
4300 / 9300
I know this is a dumbass question but I'm running a p75 non vtec on my b20 just with hondata s300 v3 if I add vtec to it I can still run a base b20 tune even with the vtec conversion since I'm building a lsv build in the near future and just want the ecu to be ready
That is correct you can have the parts installed and they will remain dormant until the tune is updated to activate them
I'm using it on my vtec d16y8 but can I use it on my non vtec b18 and disable vtec in hondata? I'm socketing it for s300 as well.
Yes that is correct. VTEC can be disabled in the software.
@@hondaland_ lovely, thanks.
👍
what wiring harness are you using?
Non vtec wiring harness. One wire added for vtec activation
What program do you have on Bluetooth and screen?
Tunerview is the app. The Bluetooth module is a DSD TECH HC-05 that is a diy Bluetooth solution. The unit requires its settings changed via programing it.
I sell the Bluetooth modules upon order if you look up Honda Land on facebook you can reach me and order one there
Didn’t have to remove j 4
Don R hey I’m trying to figure out if I should remove j4 right now cuz I’m getting ecu problems and I have j4 cut
J4 is never removed in this video and never has been. Not sure what you mean by this comment. J10 is added. No components were removed. Only added in this video. J12 is the only jumper you "remove" others are added in like j1 to activate the chip and j10 to enable vtec components.
what wiring harness are you using?
Wiring harness was not changed from the non VTEC p75. One wire was simply added to the harness to activate the Vtec solenoid as it is all you need.
@@hondaland_ where do you put the wires for the vtec solenoid? cause i want to go b20vtec with a p75 ecu and the wiring is the only part I’m confused on
@@macoolitzclub single wire to the solenoid. It is a 12 wire + out of the ecu. The solenoid recieves ground from the engine head. All obd1 ecus have the same pinout. So you would need to add or move a pin on your harness "ecu side" To A4. For pinouts download HONDAtabase from the play store or app store apple and it will show you where a4 is at. If your car was auto you xan use an existing wire deleted for the solnoids of the trans and keep it clean.
@@hondaland_ thank you so much for this info man, I know where A4 cause I’ve seen people wire p72 ecu’s with A4, but I didn’t know it would work on p75 even if it was vtec converted. now I can go b20v with no issues thanks to you, subscribed!
