You're right.
Toni is still grounded, despite of all her achievements. This is one reason that she will be a great mother to Seve. I will not dought her capabilities as a mother because she's carrying the same values that her parents instill to them both of Alex.

In the ideal world, we dont want to force kids on what they want to do..this isnt the case though for the less fortunate cause unfortunately, we live in a country who looks at diplomas and certificates instead of skills..being able to choose what you want to do without parents bugging you cause you dont need to earn for them or your family is a luxury
True. I took a career based on what my parents wanted for me because I didn't think I had a say in it since they're the ones who would pay for my studies. Then I got miserable going to work every day doing a job I didn't like, which I got out after a few years and now studying for a new career path. Growing up with controlling parents made me struggle with thinking for myself and expressing myself, which is my biggest frustration right now.

Malaki talaga influence ng parents sa success ng anak nila. There are some na nakakasurvive and nagiging succeful pa rin kahit walang support ng parents pero very rare yun.

The more you say no to your kids. The more they will ask themselves... "What do I really want to do? What should I do? What is right or wrong?"
I grow up having a father who always says "NO, this is not good. This is not right. You're not fit to that"
Now, I don't know what to do... Wala na akong gana. Taas nang expectations niya. The more mo gagawin gusto niya the more tataas ang expectations. So better do nothing... Bahala na siya mahighblood kasi wala akong gnagawa sa mga gusto niya...
This is me. Masyado kong na-pressure when I was younger (coz I used to do a lot of extra-curriculars and was on honor roll) that now I'm just lost.
True... Yan din observation ko. Ang resulta talaga,magiging dependent ka lalo sa decision making sa parents mo o sa ibang tao. Mahirap at mabagal ka sa decision making dahil naengrave na sa utak mo baka mali,pangit,palpak yung gagawin mo.

I disagree with Toni. A lot of child celebrities in the Philippines have not turned out well. They are stuck in the vicious cycle 'needing' to stay in showbiz because they don't have anything else to do. I mean, ilang anak ng artista ba ang naging lawyer, doctor, nurse, practicing engineer, bank manager, etc etc. Magkukunwari magbusiness pero dahil wala namang alam, lugi din. Halos lahat sa kanila second rate social media influencer, trying hard fashion or interior designer or chef. Nauna ang fame before they found themselves. I mean, can you imagine scarlet Belo or seve Soriano starting out as bank tellers, travel agent, nurse, secretary?! Prime example, look at KC Concepcion, Patrick and Cheska Garcia. KC concepcion is lost. Patrick and Cheska are busy exploiting their kids. Tingnan mo kapatid ni Toni na si Alex. Isang annoying chuwariwap who's world revolves around her tactless mouth and stupid pranks
That is because, they grew in the mentality wherein they got soaked with the fame and fortune of their parents. There are child stars right now that are not lost. For example, the goin bulilit kids. If you will check on them, they are on the right track. There are even kids from goin bulilit that's not a celebrity anymore and just decided to live normal lives.
Just like tony said, if you will instill to their minds that they are rich, famous and this and that, then, that is where they will be lost.
