The swept frequncy reminds me of a toy I had when I was little it was one of those things that made sound when you pushed the different buttons it had that same sound tone and pattern

About a month ago, I was at a school that had 2903-9101 + 2901-9806 (B4) combos - one above the double doors at each end of the hall. One of the two horns on the top floor was replaced by an MA12/24D set on 800 Hz.

Ah the 4903 9219. My favorite. You should look for the white mechanical 4903s. Theyre very rare. I have a 9221 and a 9222.

I'd love to find one of those one day. I have a -9252 as well, but the strobe broke. I just ordered two 4904-9176 strobes, one of which is going to be its replacement.

@Aidan M Cash (2023) I bought vintage fire alarm guys 9221 about a week ago. It needed some work so he sold it to me to have to get running again. Its basically brand new now I love it.

@@vintagesimplexfirealarmsof6440 LEDs are DC devices, but you should check what voltage it's supposed to operate on.

@@vintagesimplexfirealarmsof6440 Sounds like it should work, then. Make sure you read the documentation before wiring anything up. Joe Klochan's videos and Douglas Krantz's website are also good sources of information, assuming you haven't already seen them.
