- Major jackpot’s first 36 hours. Friday afternoon I just knew that Molly was acting a little different and decided to plait her tail and stay over at mum and dads! And …. While checking the camera, I noticed her acting a little weird, and saw the first signs of labour! Within an hour, Molly had a beautiful little black colt…. But … some of you may not realise that he will actually be white grey in a few years. Molly was actually bred with Prince George’s uncle , a bright white grey Connemara meaning that the foal and George are cousins ! I’ve had so many lovely congratulations posts and comments - more than when I had the children actually! This video shows the first 36 hours of his life

Notice how, when you scratch his bum, he reaches his head forward? Mares nibble at and scratch their newborn foals' rear ends because it encourages them to reach out their heads and seek their teats to suckle.

Beautiful mums & little ones 🐴. Love watching. Not even a horse person but I believe I could be after learning horse culture. I now know why my first horse ride almost killed me. It’s questionable if stepbrother liked me or not when we were teenagers. I begged him to saddle one of my dad’s ex-rodeo horses than hadn’t been kept riding. They’d become yard art to pasture. I got on him. He went straight then turned round &bolted back to the barn. My brother yelled for me to get off so I jumped before having my leg amputated. Never trusted horses after finding out how strong & unpredictable they could be. You’ve taught me there’s a language I never knew existed. It really cleared things up for me after some 45 years 🙃 It’s good to know!!! 😳 I 🥰 them 🐎 as a child. The smells & everything. Hurts to see one mistreated as we’ve seen recently 💔 Thank you for sharing new life at the ranch. 💕
