Imagine having 2 Gengar ex, but only 1 Haunter and no Clefable. Couldn't be me.
Edit: I forgot to mention my 6 Electrode, 2 full art Electrode, and 0 Voltorb.

Don't worry there's a promo haunter coming up in an event

Swap Clefable with Psyduck instead, no Golduck, with Psyduck you can disable opponents from playing supporters in the early turns or even the whole game.

Or use 70 pack points on another haunter😅

It is a true shame that only now people are realizing his value. His ability is probably one of the best in the game due to sabrina. What a great deck!

Cool deck. I don't have my 2nd Gengar ex yet. I have not opened all that many Mew Two packs though, so probably will go back to those after some Mew packs this morning. Hopefully can draw one of those rainbow Gengars, they're gorgeous. I only have 1 x rainbow so far, it's a Machamp ex.

If you want to disable the opponents from playing supporters even more especially in early turns then swap clefable with Psyduck, just psyduck, his attack costs 1 colourless energy that deals 10 dmg but it disables enemies from playing supporters in their turn.

I think basic Zapdos has made it's way into a lot of the Raichu variant, of Pika ex. I have one in mine, similarly to how you would run a basic Mew Two. The first Person I seen do it was Jeff Hoogland, but He got it from someone in one of his Tournaments.
EDIT: Seems this guy was running them instead of Zapdos ex. Usually you will just see one basic Zapdos as a time waster/bench filler in Raichu/Pika ex decks.

I still couldn't found a counter for Gengar Ex, except maybe brute force, Like Charizard Ex, since Gengar Ex's ability basically shut off a lot of strategy that rely on Trainer cards, like Koga, Blaine, or Lt. Surge.

The only issue here with this deck is yes gengar ex ability is good but it takes multiple turns to set gengar up and by then your opponent will have already played a decent amount of there supporter cards early game, so gengar is most likely gonna come out mid or late game and by then it's too late

I wish gengar has an ability like normal tcg. Whenever enemy pokemon get energy it take 50 dmg or Something

I think a red card would be a good addition to this deck. I'd maybe even take it over, Giovanni. When they know gengar is coming, they are more likely to spam their proffessors research which you can then deny.

Feels weird to remove Giovanni with how limited the damage is in the deck, especially if you want 150 in 2 or 90 in 2, or 150 considering heal on a 130, etc.

Instead of clefairy/clefable line, I run zubat/golbat line against the Mewtwo meta. Also, I run khan instead of baby Mewtwo

Can always replace the regular mewtwo with regular Gengar for extra control

I might need to try this deck. I'm finding it so hard to find the pre evolutions of garvador and gavador itself. And not only this I need two of these cards each 😂😂

Your second game couldn't the oponent sacrifice the zapdos while taking 100 from gengar and killing the mewtwo on the bench, and finish the game with pikachu ?

Downside its a stage 2 pokemon and a medicore 100 dmge by that time your opponent could already have a whopping 150+ dmage on his pokemom set up

I love gengar and as much as its fun its nowhere near sufficient in the meta, unfortunately. I also feel like 1 xspeed isnt something u can afford because you dont have ramp and cant afford tempo loss. Maybe its potion u cut and keep ur mew2, just saying
