See it’s a tough spot, if you allow to attach energy going first but no attacks (regular TCG rules) I think going first would be far better almost all the time. The issue is in the games design, 3 prizes, or points, is to little, I personally think it should be 4. It will make using EX’s still take 2 to kill, but at the same time, buff one prizers, it will also allow the 1st player more time to keep up. Idk I like pocket, but it’s far from perfect, it could use alot of improvement

I’ve been playing Arcanine EX with Moltres, 80% of games im ready to attack turn 2, and it’s just a roll every time. If we change it to 4 prizes, it would balance the EX’s while still making them really powerful.

Why not switch out the two Seakings for two Starmie’s. One more energy required but more health, more consistent, and 0 retreat cost.
