@@antoniojohnson8443 I never knew this but looked it up. Kim talked about it in an interview. There’s a photo of Mindy and Kim with Janet in the studio with Michael for PYT. Apparently Quincy Jones asked several people to leave because he was hearing some off-key in the “na na na” they were singing. He didn’t single them out but they were part of the group that had to go.

***** shoot Beyonce still here! I think the drugs and their personal family battles got the best of them. They all got too drug induced vefore they properly even learned the business, which is sad. El even mentioned in one of his interviews I watched that he's just now really learning the business side. Bsck then it was just sing for me and stay out of the business, but artists today are much wiser than those of yester-year. I would've loved to see how far they would had gone if they were still moving...maybe as far as the Jacksons? They definitely had the talent. I went to El's concert in Virginia this month. If you'd like to see a couple video shots from it, you can go to my Google+ page to see them. I really don't know how to post them effectively to utube, so I posted some there. I wasn't able to get long footage bcuz cameras /phones were banned once the concert started. Hope you enjoy them.

I would love to see him teach Music at a University. And I want him to find a significant other. We all need companionship. He should never be left alone.
I think he would make a great music instructor, as well as getting more into writing for other artists. Touring at his age can be detrimental to his sobriety. The only thing about companionship where he's concerned, it would definitely have to be the one created for him, becuz he's already been married 3 times with 12 kids! 3 failed marriages is no joke! That takes real soul searching to see if you're really ready or if that person is the one for you. These marriages all came out of his addiction. He may have had small breaks in between, but it's impossible to truly love someone else if you don't love yourself. No it's not good for man to be alone, but he really needs to learn himself again as a sober man. It seems like he took all of his pain and addiction into his marriages, which would be the key ingredients to them failing. He said himself his drug use ruined his marriages..I really do believe his wives loved him. He is amazing! I yelled out at the concert, "You are a beautiful man El!" hahaha Of course everyone laughed! 😁😁 He smiled with his head down on his keyboard and shyly said, "Thank you!" 😁 Someone else on utube told me they were at the same concert and heard me yell that out..too funny! However, they noticed too that he seemed really shy in excepting tbat compliment. either that or he was trying to focus on his next number and I interrupted his trail of thought. lol But he is beautiful indeed. He was pulling women onstage to dance with him and coming off stage going to women so be prepared and wear your dancing shoes. 👌
I figured he was married because I have seen pictures of him with a wedding band on. Marriage is work and you have to love yourself and be a complete person before you're married. I just mean steady companionship. A committed long term relationship who will help him take care of his minor children. So she would have to be made for him in that way. B/c I'm not married, but I want companionship and I have a child who is almost a teenager. There is a possiblity that I won't get married, (I'm to used to doing things myself and alon), And yes I'm trying to book my hotel room today. Then I'm going to buy my ticket. I'm ready. And yes, I agree his "touring at this age is detrimental to his sobriety" as you wrote. We have to keep praying for him and for his family. I'll let you know if I'm going for sure. I'm going to check out your page. I'm getting myself ready for the concert. :-)

I have been a huge fan of Debarge for years and I also watched Different Strokes and The Facts of Life episodes religiously back in the day. However I missed this and thank god for Shout and UA-cam that I saw this. You Wear it Well was not a hit on the album but seeing El and the FOL girls sing it together was a rare treat for me. I had no idea this even happened.
