For someone who is suffering from a fragmented memory due to the effects of anxiety and depression while taking up PhD in the engineering field, this is very helpful. Thanks, Kaelyn. Cheers! 🥰🤓😍
This is a great video! As a fellow PhD student (I’m starting my second year this fall), I found this useful. I will share this with my students to help them in their educational journey! 😊
I love taking notes so this is awesome thank you! Also, my method of attack is listening not only with my ears but also my body. Just surrender and say a prayer.
I am about to start my history PhD this fall thank you for this great video! It'll be so helpful. I know that you probably haven't been teaching for a while but I was wondering if you could do a fashion video? I know that I can just wear my regular clothes but in situations like going to the archives, academic conferences, and even teaching I would like to dress a little more refined but am lost on how to do so. Plus I think you have great style, much love!
Yes, building a database will be so helpful if you're planning on pursuing a masters or PHD. Could you go more into detail in how you set up your database within Notion? I'm finishing up my undergrad in History and planning on starting a masters next fall so that would be extremely helpful! P.S. I just listened to one of the podcasts that you featured on where you mentioned the video before this one was one of your most popular. I wonder if this one will be the same!
Hi Kaelyn, I am from India and I love your notes and writing content videos because I watch those only. I'll sure watch the other one too. My request to you is to please make video on "how to Annotate" and and "how to write your own view point" with 3 to 4 examples with different discipline, mine is Psychology, I know its hard to make on any one discipline, its all up to you, but I have never learn this in my Graduation, so please help with writing skills. Please!!!🙂
I am a History teacher and I find your videos very interesting. My dream is to study abroad (UK, USA, Canada...or others) your videos inspires me. Keep going on your good work. Greetings from Brazil. (sorry for my bad english :D)
Thank you for the recommendation 🥰♥️ that however is not the target focus on my channel but there are many on UA-cam which do a good job of creating grade school content
I never learned how to properly take notes 'cause I just cruised through school and college, not really having to put in any effort to get decent grades
This content was very helpful as I begin my writing phase for my PhD. I tried to purchase the Atlas.ti with the code, but it doesn't work. The message reads, "The given code is either not valid for the items in the shopping cart or does not exist. Please check!". I am trying to purchase the 1 year student subscription. Please let us know if there is a valid code. Thanks!
I feel like I just watched something I should have paid for. Top tier content. I wish I had this while getting my PhD!
🥺 this comment just made my day. I worked really hard on this video and am so grateful you enjoyed it
you paid, rest assured
Agree!!

Get out of depression, it will eat your life😢
I am not a student but I find helpful processes and tips in all your videos. Thank you, Kaelyn!
Oh I am so glad!!!

I just started out as a history major, and you have been saving my life! Thank you so much!
It would be interesting to hear how your note-taking evolved from the community college level to the university level.
Very helpful, especially as I am reading my own thesis chapters while imagining someone trying to identify the key themes. Thanks! 🍎
Yay! Thank you so much for watching! I hope this strategy is helpful for you ♥️
Love this! I wish I was taught this this when I was a student. My notes were basically the note version of Lord of the Flies

I have my entire system outlined in my PhD student workflow video 🥰🥰 and thank you!!!!
This is so helpful! I just started my PhD and is super lost. What is the best way to digitalize a physical book for literature review?
@@its_dianafeng you can usually get scans from your university library or identify a pdf copy to annotate in GoodNotes or a similar app
Thank you Kaelyn for always inspiring us. I benefited a lot from the video ❤
I’m so glad!! Thank you so much for watching!

You’re welcome, friend
I found taking notes as a graduate was the same as taking notes as an undergraduate.
Cool! I am glad you found what works for you
I never learned how to properly take notes 'cause I just cruised through school and college, not really having to put in any effort to get decent grades
I don’t remember anyone really teaching me either, this system is based on a lot of trial and error
Not a problem. At least you have a degree. Learning is a plus, but optik al
Thank you for always sharing your knowledge and experience.
