Mark Davis does not want to share Allegiant Stadium with the A’s. The whole reason the Raiders moved here to Vegas is because of the A’s ownership ruining any chances of a newly updated coliseum. He has made it very clear he is not happy they will move here. As for the Giants sharing their home I do not see that happening either due to the wear and tear on their field and facilities. Cold day in hell for both options. As for the Aviators Las Vegas ballpark, while it is very nice and new(ish) it is way smaller than the MLBPA would want it to be for MLB play, plus the locker rooms are not up to MLB standards so they would have to build new locker rooms, raise the lights, add new team facilities etc. etc. all that takes time. No shovels in the ground yet so still not 100% going to happen yet.
Agree that Allegiant is a long shot. But the stadium is owned by the Las Vegas Stadium Authority, not the Raiders, and they would make any decisions, though they would not want to alienate the Raiders.
If they do play at Allegiant, it would only be for 2 to 3 years max as their own stadium is constructed similar to if a team were to relocate to Montreal they would play at Olympic Stadium till a new stadium gets constructed. The only issue is the lower bowl permanently built (concrete) or retractable? If it's permanent, then you can wave that idea goodbye.
Given that Fisher is depending on opponents traveling fans to fill the Vegas stadium, the A’s will never have a home field advantage again. Pathetic business model!
It depends but Vegas is a transient city by nature. They are still better off they didn't have much of a home field advantage where they were at even during the good time. It was not like going into the Metrodome or something.
It really does not mean too much in football to begin with. A bad NFL team will not be much better with a lot of their fans in the stands. Raiders are over .500 for ex. since being in LV aside from '20 (where there weren't any fans in the stands) and they either had bad teams or '21 where it was average at best and overcame a bad situation; with people focused on the opposing fans situation in media and social media. Does HFA idea really mean much in baseball? I mean you can't really mess up a play or snap (and teams get around this anyway in football enough) like you can in football. Best HFA is a good team in any sport. Look at the first stint and second stint in Oak. for Raiders. In the first when there was no black hole, Al was in his prime and they won a ton and two titles. Second one, aside from Gru years which still ended in the worst loss in franchise history in SB, and 16, there were two black holes. A lot of losing with Al fading and then in big decline. Mark starting out not so well. When you win more consistently, more of yours are going to show up. But even with other teams, some fans bases travel well. Niners not only took over LA Rams in Sofi, but they also did do that in Pittsburgh where you would never think that would happen. Just have a better team. A's have shown with low pay roll they can win enough, are run well for a low pay roll team. They will have more in Vegas like Raiders do. A lot more in terms of revenue. Look at Mark, he does not have it winning on field yet (A's are much better run overall even with low pay roll revenue situation), but he just sent Josh Mac and co. away 1 and 1/2 years into a 6 year and with owning Gruden still. 90 M to send those clowns away. In the prior Oak. situation, no way he does that. He's stuck with him for a few more years at least. In Vegas, it's also lower cost of living for players, and better tax situation, much better. So those are advantages Raiders have now, and A's will also. It does not guarantee winning just like spending more does not, but they are advantages The Raiders have now and A's will also have compared to prior situation for FA's, payroll. Fisher does not own the Coliseum the City and County do. They have not made any improvements or upkeep except Mount Davis when the Raiders came back. Why should he pay for it ? He does not own it.
Fisher owns 50% of the Coliseum site. This is was a major factor in why the Raiders left Oakland. The county of Alameda sold it in good faith in trying to keep Baseball over Football. With the hope of keeping the A’s but the county was so dumb they believed Fisher. Even though he had been trying to move since 2005 to San Jose.

When Minor League baseball came back to Sacramento, Raley, now Sutter Health Field in West Sacramento was built to be expanded to 30,000 seats, just put an upper deck on it. I wonder why the A's never considered moving to Sacramento.
Short answer: money the root of all evil. (Even if the money is a mirage in the desert) But I think Sacramento can easily support a mlb team especially after the A’s (or a rebranded baseball team) leaves for Vegas. They can even pull an Arizona and Minnesota and name the team after the state and finally put the small market bs to rest
The issue for why the A’s would want to stay in NorCal for the time being is they get $60MM a year for their TV deal. Maybe they are already working on a nevada Tv deal, but I think the current deal is keeping their interest here.
Allegiant Stadium with a baseball-centric renovation would likely be far better than whatever the heck they building in that casino parking lot. Real talk.
Giants have already commented in the past that they would accommodate the A's short term if it was for building a new park locally or relocation. They even stated in the past they would not be totally opposed to sharing Oracle full time, but the A"s never considered that in that they would only then be tenants and not much gain for them. It might be the best option other then Summerlin. Not sure the A's have any real reason to stay in the Bay Area other then if they want to make a grand entrance to Las Vegas with a brand new building.
I doubt they will be playing allegiant Stadium they even said that they don’t want the A’s in the stadium so it looks like minor-league ballpark might be an option
The Diamondbacks stadium makes the only sense….it’s in the desert area, and the closest… it’s indoors ,the fans would get NL and AL baseball and it’s only 290 some miles away…that also would form a new desert rivalry..
Yes the diamondbacks stadium makes the only sense where fans would have to travel to Arizona to see the Las Vegas team play in a pretty ugly stadium with another baseball team. I mean come on, it makes the only sense. Your a genius
This is the stupid move to try to ram a 3rd major league team into a market that is barely in the top 30-35 metro markets. Especially when we have yet to see how consistent that Las Vegas market supports the two they already have long term. We only have a small sample size so far and it can be argued that the Raider games are barely home games with the amount of visiting team fans filling up a good amount of those seats.
Rumor has it that the NBA is considering expanding there as well. It would be interesting see how a media market that small supports 4 professional sports teams.
The A’s BELONG IN OAKLAND, the mayor of Oakland NEEDS to seriously look into keeping the A’s in OAKLAND, the city of Oakland NEEDS A MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL FRANCHISE!!!!!!
Why is Oracle in the mix for temporary stadium? Why don’t A’s play at MLB stadiums much closer to Vegas like Dodger stadium Anaheim San Diego or Arizona! Anaheim and Dodger stadium are 4 1/2 hour drives from Vegas San Diego and Arizona are 5 hour drives from Vegas! San Francisco/ Oakland are 9 hour drives! Be as close to Vegas as possible! This is why Vegas is a better option for expansion! Don’t start play til retractable or translucent roof stadium is complete! If A’s stayed, they can play at Oracle or Coliseum til Howard Terminal was built! I don’t think Giants will want to share if A’s are leaving! If A’s were building a stadium in Oakland, that’s different
Fisher should be ashamed of himself, but then again that would require him to actually have shame. I hope attendance numbers are 0 until 2028. Would serve all these greedy owners right.
The problem with Oracle park.. The Giants don't have to play ball with them.. 2. They have dates where both are at home at the same time.. and finally.. fans.. who can they expect to fill the seats? Maybe a few A's fans from across the bay.. but they were staying away when the games were local because the team frankly probably couldn't win in AAA... Oakland.. who's to say that the city will even entertain that.. I know I would tell MLB to jump into the bay... stab us in the back then want us to play ball.. NOT.. Vegas Minor league park.. the MLBPA will have something to say about that.. (though I would simply tell them to jump into the bay... they don't get a say.).. and Allegiant stadium.. Now that has some nice ring in 1 way.. when Raiders came back to Oakland.. the A's got them forced down their throats and that hideous Mt. Davis.. maybe a bit a rebound Karma would be good... still.. from a City of Oakland standpoint.. they gotl stabbed in the back so I'd not be willing to play nice at this point unless MLB put forth a sweatheart deal.. And MLB is probably not going there..
Giants have said previously that they would accommodate the A's for either relocation or if they were building something new at HT. They even commented that they would be willing to share Oracle with the A's if that was a solution. The A's never considered it because they would just be a long term tenant and not be able to generate much revenue.
The Giants have 0 interest of sharing with the A’s. They blocked them from moving to San Jose. So what makes ppl think that will happen. There’s still a lot of unanswered questions about the acres being so small from the first renderings. Idk if it will work out in Las Vegas. The giants are gonna fight to the A’s from moving in.
They already commented once they would accommodate the A's if they were bulding something new at HT and needed something short term and why not its more revenue for them.
Oakland should tell John fisher and his team to get out now not using our stadium. You want Las Vegas go now. Suffer Las Vegas the heat. Your problem John fisher and Oakland A’s. Go play in Las Vegas or AAA park but go now
If the A's played at Allegiant Stadium, that would rank last in his MLB stadium rankings. The pathetic thing is that he would critique it like they planned it that way.
@@westhoodqualzini7884no. It’s not made for that Abe it’s not even possible. The Aviators ballpark has been voted best AAA park more than once. It’s way nicer than you think. Everyone loves it here
@@westhoodqualzini7884 where else could they go? You can’t do allegiant like that. I hate the raiders but just let them have their stadium. The whole point was to finally have their own stadium for once. Yes, it doesn’t reach MLB ballpark standards but you’re gonna have to test LV Ballpark when other teams come and see what happens. I’m from North LV. Yes it’s not the greatest but I’d rather be here than Cali
I don't know what the Texas Rangers think about this but, there is a perfectly good stadium across the street from the Rangers current stadium the A's could play in until their stadium is built.
Hey, the Expos were relocating for 2 years and were in Puerto Rico part of the time, with rumors of everywhere but Montreal. This seems normal by comparison! Also on a small grounds it doesn't have to be round, go way retro and have streets bordering a The Outfield like wrigley, fenway, etc
Sam Boyd Stadium converted to baseball. Night games and a Sunday afternoon game. All the A's have to do is renovate to baseball. No tenant no problem. Easy solution, but it's already complicated as is.
@bobbowie9350 yeah, you're right. I don't understand how anybody can think a purpose-built football stadium like Allegiant or Sam Boyd can be used for baseball. The Oakland Coliseum is a dual-purpose stadium and was built that way. I know you know that, I'm just voicing a comment.
So here's my question. The Athletics refuse to invest any money in a team to compete longer than one season of a bunch of rookies all hitting at the same time. You can make an all star team or all the players they trade for literally money and prospects over the past 5 years and have a powerhouse team. Yes, they need a new stadium, that's no doubt. But the owner is pretty much saying he doesn't want to pay any money investing into a brand new stadium. Why should anyone look at that scenario and think unironically "ya, we should reward that guy with a brand new stadium for no money out of pocket for him." Seriously, the negotiation between Oakland and Fisher was not in good faith cause Fisher never wanted to stay in the east bay. Why are we rewarding the worst team owner in all of sports with a brand new Vegas stadium? You know it being in the strip is gonna be the highest of high end. So idk, Fisher might want to all of a sudden start paying players more than the MLB minimum if he expects Vegas to embrace the team. Raiders had a honeymoon period there, but locals there have largely lost interest and games are practically road games now, which was never the case in Oakland. The Knights have the support of the city, because they win. I am not familiar with wnba attendance, so I won't comment there, but that team is a winner. So let's give Vegas the biggest intentional losers in baseball. I truly hope it fails. Sorry for the chunky tldr post, I just had to shout into the ether for a minute.
Every wnba team plays in an empty stadium, it doesn’t matter if they’re good or not because everyone knows that there is more talent on the worst G-League team than the best wnba team.
It's a 70 year old High-A stadium that seats 6,500. Las Vegas is a better choice, it's AAA, new, larger, the team is affiliated with the A's and it's in the new market.
The Giants got Oracle Park built with private financing and no public money after having failed 4 times to get public funding through ballot measures. Not only have the Giants paid off the mortgage on the ballpark, they're making a ton of money developing the surrounding property. John Fisher wants someone to pay for the stadium and the retail development for him, while he spends little to nothing of his own billions. Oh, and he gets to keep all the profit.
Las Vegas Ballpark is a beautiful place and they could add some seats to get it up to 15,000 or so. It would be sold out every night. I just wish they would move to LV asap to get rid of the ridiculous MLB blackouts.
I am a Giants fan and feel real bad for Oakland A’s fans that were sold out by the MLB and team ownership that seems to have purposely sabotaged his team to avoid staying in the Bay Area. They used to regularly outdraw the Giants for years and would draw in 2-3 million in their prime years. Now Vegas and greater Nevada will have to decide if they want to float yet another bond to pay for another expensive playhouse for a billionaire’s sports franchise. If and when the economy dips they maybe holding the bag for another huge debt. I have already seen local Vegas groups already opposing using public funds or bonds to pay for another stadium when housing schools and healthcare are huge issues there. This may not go down without a fight.
There are 81 home games separated into 26 series... Interleague is 23 games with 8 series... Just use the opponent home, simple... Now only 58 AL home games with 18 series remaining... I only have 2 solution for this: 1. Go full tour all the way from Miami and ending in Seattle borrowing MiLB parks on the way 2. Use all MLB and MiLB park in California, Nevada, and maybe Arizona can help too For 1 they can use Nashville against Rays and Orioles, Williamsport against Yankees and Red Sox, Buffalo against Blue Jays and Guardians, Indianapolis against White Sox and Tigers, Omaha against Royals and Twins, Las Vegas against Astros, Reno against Rangers, Fresno against Angels, and Sacramento against Mariners For 2 they can use Angel Stadium for 3 series (2 of those against Angels themselves), Oracle Park for 2 series, Dodger Stadium for 2 series, Petco Park for 2 series, Chase Field for 2 series, and Aviator ballpark for 2 series, the remaining series will be played once on Reno, Sacranento, Stockton, Modesto, and San Jose Radical for sure though... 🤔🤔🤔
@@ldfreitas9437 this relocation of the A’s helps the Giants anyway. Now those baseball fans from Oakland can go see a better baseball team and oh yea, a much better looking stadium than the dilapidated stadium in Oakland

The day of the week is no excuse. No other team has nearly as much trouble selling tickets to playoff games, including weekdays. And some of them have the added obstacle of playing outdoors in cities that can get pretty cold in October.
Just make them like the Frontier Greys of the Frontier League where they have no home city and no home stadium. They will be a traveling team all season long.
have you seen the outdoor air conditioning systems in the Dubai soccer fields? Las Vegas Ballpark could install them and use them for the life of the park. expensive but Howard Hughes has a few bucks!! what do you think?
@@donaldpaluga yes … after a quarter of a century MLB is giving up on Oakland…. They should continue with the project and in 2070 or 2080 they can apply again.
If the Las Vegas A's would play at Las Vegas AAA Ball Park for night games and they should also play at Allegiant Stadium for day games from 2025-2027 MLB Season if Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis would agree
They've got a year to work it out, and likely the attendance during the final year will be DISMAL. I'd say once the lease is expired, it's up to the Coliseum authority to bother offering the A's a temporary home, else, they should not bother, and commence demolition and redevelopment. The A's can work out deals with the SF Giants, the LA Dodgers, the LA Angels, and the San Diego Padres all for use of THEIR ballparks during this interregnum. I'd suggest playing at the LV Ballpark where the current AAA-franchise plays, alternating dates with them while THEY work out the inevitable relocation (Fresno?) that they'll be forced to make, for about half their home dates, and being a "guest" at the other California MLB parks, primarily the Giants home. Converting Alleigant Stadium into even a temporary baseball facility is a TERRIBLE idea. Drop it.
Really difficult to envision the A's selling tickets for games no matter WHERE they are playing before the new stadium is finished. Put them in the largest high school ballpark in las Vegas or Oakland, and i doubt they sell it out! They should play in that older outdated stadium in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. The 49rs used to play there before they built Candlestick.
The A's are still playing at the Coliseum in 2024. So '25-'27 still have to be figured out though. They still have over a year to figure that out though.
A renovated Allegiant would be the best thing for the Raiders and Las Vegas and Major League Baseball. It would also only cost a few hundred million. Can I write a check ???
Allegiant Stadium is a no-go for baseball. My own preference is to have the A's become wanderers, old-time barnstormers, playing games in Summerlin and San Francisco but also places like Montreal, Louisville, San Antonio, and even Mexican and Carribean locations. Supposedly the players' union gets a say, though, and I think they'd hate my suggestion.
Could just throw them in Arizona at Salt River Fields or like has been said Montreal. Or since they gave up on home crowds just play all their home games as away games but they would be the home team at the other team's stadiums. Imagine seeing The A's host the Yankees at Yankee Stadium.
I dont think Allegiant would work for baseball at all. The lower bowl is all permanent, so i cant see any way to get the left and right field lines deep enough to be worth a damn, let alone Mark Davis being pissed at the A's for not doing anything to help get things done in Oakland.
I'd like to see the A's play several home series in Philadelphia and Kansas City, where they have a history, when the Phils and Royals are on the road.
The Barnstorming Athletics. Honolulu Tokyo Havana Monterrey New Orleans San Antonio Vancouver Buffalo Lots of cities would love to host scattered series.
People can complain all they want but the Rays are staying in St.Pete...so Sean McDonough can complain about something else if he ever announces a game here again.

Real talk.
They should play at Sutter health park in Sacramento
Giants have already commented in the past that they would accommodate the A's short term if it was for building a new park locally or relocation. They even stated in the past they would not be totally opposed to sharing Oracle full time, but the A"s never considered that in that they would only then be tenants and not much gain for them. It might be the best option other then Summerlin. Not sure the A's have any real reason to stay in the Bay Area other then if they want to make a grand entrance to Las Vegas with a brand new building.
I don’t see Giants sharing if A’s are leaving Bay Area! Share with Dodgers or Angels
It's confirmed they will play 2024 in the Oakland Coliseum. Their lease ends at the end of 2024
yeh but what about from 24-27 ?
There ya go!!! The Raiders and the A's share Allegiant Stadium!!! Problem solved!!!
I doubt allegiant is willing to renovate for a 3 year Tennant
they're screwed. no thought about anything whatsoever.
I doubt they will be playing allegiant Stadium they even said that they don’t want the A’s in the stadium so it looks like minor-league ballpark might be an option
A's arent playing at Allegiant Stadium. Whoever brought this up smoking dope😂
"Your a genius"
classic
What's the Oakland mayor supposed to do?
Play here in Salt Lake City A's
Fisher should be ashamed of himself, but then again that would require him to actually have shame.
I hope attendance numbers are 0 until 2028. Would serve all these greedy owners right.
The Raiders are not going to let the A's use their 1 billion dollar stadium.
Rip 🪦 Oakland Athletics
Allegiant stadium is a ban box. The ball would be too close to the fans. Plus, Mark Davis HATES the A’s.
They already commented once they would accommodate the A's if they were bulding something new at HT and needed something short term and why not its more revenue for them.
giants owners would probably take the money to "somewhat break even" as Greg Johnson said@@scotttild
I wonder if the players will approve this
A's play at the Aviators stadium, and move the Aviators back to Cashman.
Ironic that you are critiquing someone's spelling of a stadium whenever you can't pronounce Shibe Park correctly.
Credit to Ginger, at least we now know what SHIBE park is
Shribe Park
Oakland should tell John fisher and his team to get out now not using our stadium. You want Las Vegas go now. Suffer Las Vegas the heat. Your problem John fisher and Oakland A’s. Go play in Las Vegas or AAA park but go now
If the A's played at Allegiant Stadium, that would rank last in his MLB stadium rankings. The pathetic thing is that he would critique it like they planned it that way.
Better than a minor league park. Allegiant stadium is really nice
@@westhoodqualzini7884no. It’s not made for that Abe it’s not even possible. The Aviators ballpark has been voted best AAA park more than once. It’s way nicer than you think. Everyone loves it here
@@ManAlsume yes but it’s a minor league park. It’s small and looks boring
@@ManAlsume btw I live in Summerlin
Update Oakland has the funds for a new stadium 🏟️. 50million more thane Vegas is offering
Where did you hear that at
Sam Boyd Stadium converted to baseball. Night games and a Sunday afternoon game. All the A's have to do is renovate to baseball. No tenant no problem. Easy solution, but it's already complicated as is.
I think you mean Cashman Field. Sam Boyd is/was a football stadium.
@@carlgemlich1657seems like he does Sam Boyd stadium.
"Converted" and "renovate to baseball " were the key words.
Sam Boyd location is likely 8-10 degrees warmer in the Summer than LVB.
@schmoab and at the Eastern edge of the valley. That would probably reduce the number of away fans.
Why should anyone look at that scenario and think unironically "ya, we should reward that guy with a brand new stadium for no money out of pocket for him."
Seriously, the negotiation between Oakland and Fisher was not in good faith cause Fisher never wanted to stay in the east bay.
Rotating? It's as if they know when they settle in LV, they will have opposing team fans and fans from random locales.
Why not consider Vancouver?
It would make more sense than Las Vegas.
It's a 70 year old High-A stadium that seats 6,500. Las Vegas is a better choice, it's AAA, new, larger, the team is affiliated with the A's and it's in the new market.
Pay for your own damn stadium…if you can’t afford that you shouldn’t own a team!
Not happening public funding will always be needed
The Giants got Oracle Park built with private financing and no public money after having failed 4 times to get public funding through ballot measures. Not only have the Giants paid off the mortgage on the ballpark, they're making a ton of money developing the surrounding property.
John Fisher wants someone to pay for the stadium and the retail development for him, while he spends little to nothing of his own billions. Oh, and he gets to keep all the profit.
So the Giants kill a potential move to Fremont but they bring the A’s into Oracle? I think not 🤣.
Actually, the Giants killed a move to San Jose.
Lived in Las Vegas since 1990. This is just crazy what they are doing. NBA next, 😅
Nah. Not “This is just crazy what they are doing.” /
Are you a Golden Knights fan?
Yup… LeBron James wants to bring NBA team to Las Vegas!!
This cramming 4 professional teams into a small market like Vegas is crazy.
I say remodel Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum or tear it down !!
Although the current stadium is outdated and run down, it's the LOCATION that dooms major league sports in Oakland.
Public funding is here to stay. Depends on how the city can manage it
The A’s sued the Nevada teachers union for trying to put the public funding on the ballot in 2024. Cause the A’s knew they lose the vote
There are 81 home games separated into 26 series...
Interleague is 23 games with 8 series... Just use the opponent home, simple...
Now only 58 AL home games with 18 series remaining...
I only have 2 solution for this:
1. Go full tour all the way from Miami and ending in Seattle borrowing MiLB parks on the way
2. Use all MLB and MiLB park in California, Nevada, and maybe Arizona can help too
For 1 they can use Nashville against Rays and Orioles, Williamsport against Yankees and Red Sox, Buffalo against Blue Jays and Guardians, Indianapolis against White Sox and Tigers, Omaha against Royals and Twins, Las Vegas against Astros, Reno against Rangers, Fresno against Angels, and Sacramento against Mariners
For 2 they can use Angel Stadium for 3 series (2 of those against Angels themselves), Oracle Park for 2 series, Dodger Stadium for 2 series, Petco Park for 2 series, Chase Field for 2 series, and Aviator ballpark for 2 series, the remaining series will be played once on Reno, Sacranento, Stockton, Modesto, and San Jose
Radical for sure though...
🤔🤔🤔
The A’s & Giants don’t need to share a stadium
Actually, that's a way of keeping the A's in the Bay Area. But that ship's sailed.
@@ldfreitas9437 this relocation of the A’s helps the Giants anyway. Now those baseball fans from Oakland can go see a better baseball team and oh yea, a much better looking stadium than the dilapidated stadium in Oakland
The A's are the ex-wife to the Raiders that the Raiders can't get rid of. She's always out there even though you divorced her.
Yeah Vegas gets hot during the days but it’s not horrible, I’m from Florida and went to dozens day games in Clearwater and can say that’s 100 times worse than Vegas days
Just use the Current stadium until it’s built, there’s no reason not to.
Conflict conflict during the month of August to December if they do aligant stadium (rebels play Saturday Raiders play Sunday, Monday, and/or Thursday)
The triple A baseball park in Vegas is the best way to go. Even in terms of start creation expectations about the future of the team here in Vegas 👍🏻
John Fisher NEEDS to sell the A’s to somebody else and keep the A’s in OAKLAND, Las Vegas is a BAD LOCATION to move the A’s, I wish the commissioner of MLB would ask John Fisher to sell the A’s
The day of the week is no excuse. No other team has nearly as much trouble selling tickets to playoff games, including weekdays. And some of them have the added obstacle of playing outdoors in cities that can get pretty cold in October.
Hold our beer-Tampa Bay Rays
I believe the A's played home games in Vegas during Mount Davis renovstions in 1996-97
6 games to open that season
Just make them like the Frontier Greys of the Frontier League where they have no home city and no home stadium. They will be a traveling team all season long.
If they play at the Las Vegas AAA ballpark, where does the actual AAA team play?
2 MLB stadiums have shared stadiums before. A schedule can be worked out.
The A's would lose $60 million a year in local TV money if they leave the bay area before new Vegas dome is built.
have you seen the outdoor air conditioning systems in the Dubai soccer fields? Las Vegas Ballpark could install them and use them for the life of the park. expensive but Howard Hughes has a few bucks!! what do you think?
You DO know Howard Hughes is dead
@@donaldpaluga yes … after a quarter of a century MLB is giving up on Oakland…. They should continue with the project and in 2070 or 2080 they can apply again.
Put the A’s out of business. Problem solved. The team isn’t supported anyway.
I can’t see Allegiant willing to spend 100’s of million to renovate the stadium for just three year tenants
If the Las Vegas A's would play at Las Vegas AAA Ball Park for night games and they should also play at Allegiant Stadium for day games from 2025-2027 MLB Season if Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis would agree
90 degree F at 7pm night game. Yeah better let them play in nor cal
Why does the thumbnail remind me of my roborock vacuum. Oh that's right they are both the same shape 😂
Can’t wait for the Dodgers play the Las Vegas A’s , I want to go ⚾️🇺🇸⚾️
It maybe wouldn't be BIG to move them to Alegiant since it's literally a football stadium but you never know it would be a good fit for the A's lol.
No chance they go to allegiant
A’s sign three year extension. As part of agreement, A’s leave name, logo, & colors in Oakland for expansion team
Not true 🤔
That’s probably not going to happen.
WTF! Rotate between all 3, that sounds like a logistical nightmare.
Drop it.
They literally do not care about dismal attendance in Oakland. It’s a nonissue.
Fresno already has a PCL team
Really difficult to envision the A's selling tickets for games no matter WHERE they are playing before the new stadium is finished. Put them in the largest high school ballpark in las Vegas or Oakland, and i doubt they sell it out! They should play in that older outdated stadium in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. The 49rs used to play there before they built Candlestick.
If the A's dont play more than half of their home games in the Bay Area specifically the A's lose over $65m PER YEAR from the TV deal.
Oakland doesn’t deserve another team. They lost the Seals, Warriors, Raiders twice and now the A’s. They don’t deserve another chance.
The A's are still playing at the Coliseum in 2024. So '25-'27 still have to be figured out though. They still have over a year to figure that out though.
If I was an Oakland fan, I'd refuse to show up, similar to what Houston did with the Oilers in 1996
@@markmonroe652 They've already been doing that for years though. Except for the one boycott game they never get any fans at games as is.
@@markmonroe652 I'd do the same thing too btw. No reason to go.
If I we're the city of Oakland, I'd tell the A's to get lost after the lease is up
A renovated Allegiant would be the best thing for the Raiders and Las Vegas and Major League Baseball. It would also only cost a few hundred million. Can I write a check ???
How about they play in Montreal for a few seasons.
Cool
Sure they've got options but the biggest question is who will show up to see the worst team in baseball?
I dont think Allegiant would work for baseball at all. The lower bowl is all permanent, so i cant see any way to get the left and right field lines deep enough to be worth a damn, let alone Mark Davis being pissed at the A's for not doing anything to help get things done in Oakland.
I'd like to see the A's play several home series in Philadelphia and Kansas City, where they have a history, when the Phils and Royals are on the road.
You think the owner stripping a fan base of a team, cares to accommodate previous fan bases his family had no connection to?
@@5TUNT1N The chances of that are slim and none, and slim left for Vegas

Regarding the Rays, who else have we heard promise a 6 billion dollar development?...John Fisher
I swear my 9 year old could have planned better.
People can complain all they want but the Rays are staying in St.Pete...so Sean McDonough can complain about something else if he ever announces a game here again.
Where would they play during play offs?
The A’s need to play at Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin while their own ballpark is going to be built at The site of The Tropicana.
