A310 by Ini simulations, the Beaver by Milviz, and the Douglas DC-3 by Aeroplane Heaven, these are high payware devs that would cost over 200$ in old simulators just for these 3 planes. crazy!

Here is some exciting news about that A310. It is developed by ini simulations and it is actually a high fidelity aircraft which was supposed to release as payware BUT
    BUT
in celebration for the 40th anniversary it will be free for everyone on MSFS.
A wide-body Long Haul semi-analog, semi-glass cockpit Airbus with a yoke, with system depth similar to them fenix, pmdgs out there...... for free?! I'm down to clown!

This is probably the best reaction to the 40th anniversary trailer

Such a drag to see it’s not coming until November

Yeah I know, but I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait

Still cool that we are getting it regardless. Especially an airliner that on xplane costs 116 bucks FOR FREE in November

I want that DC-3, and that DeHavilland Beaver amphibian.

I belive the A310 from Ini builds is going to be far far greater than the FBW 320

MSFS2004 Century of Flight was better than FSX for me. But 2020 is the greatest.

Totally agree with your point on FS9, especially considering how FPS friendly FS9 is still today. I use it on my Surface Pro 8 to get my main points across to my students before we go fly, then I can just tuck it away in my flight bag when I'm done.

@@yankeeromeoalpha FSX was a disaster in my opinion. The frame rate was awful. Even the steam edition didn’t fix much. It only used 1 single core that’s how badly optimised it was. I personally went to P3D V5 while I waited for MSFS2020 come out. It’s about time they released some military ai in MSFS2020. I love AIG traffic which you can now use in the sim. FS9 had the capabilities to run all the ai traffic lots of addons and still no FPS drops.

@@KillingSpree193 You can get multi-core running in FSX (and FS9) by using the affinity_mask tweak in the FSX cfg file. Sure it's far... far from perfect, the tweak offloads certain operations off of the main core instead of dedicating operations for other cores, but for me since CPU on the i5-1135G7 was the bottleneck, I got nearly double the FPS boost, and the CPU became well... less of a bottleneck.

Dude they should make a model of bodies like the moon and mars and let you use the HALO ship to explore them!
