I've been using Stone Paper notebooks for several years now. Walgreens sells a 8.5x11 and an A5 size spiral notebook(s). I really like to paint on the pages rather than write on them. Target used to sell a chunky Stone composition notebook, but I haven't seen it in a couple of years--I loved them. Pens drag on the paper and don't flow smoothly, which drove me nuts. But as I said, I love painting on the pages.

I love all the different sizes, but find it hard to find storage. I have them in a box, but never look at them because they are not in my line of sight. My bigger journals are on a shelf, but you can't carry those with you and I don't like to use them for notes. I hate to copy my notes into a bigger journal, seems too redundant. Anyway, would love to see how you store all your lovely planners/journals.
What a great Video Vicky. Hi Folks! I'm Petra and I have a serious problem. I'm a notebook, planner and paperaddict. And I'm not alone. YYYYYYYEEEESSSSSS!!!!!! I love, love, love Leuchtturm. Due to the fact that I'm German I've easy and quick access on the notebooks. You get them problably everywhere. Leuchtturm means Lighthouse fyi. You smell your books. I caught myself to feel on the surface of the paper. If it is soft and smooth I can tell you it will be a joy to write on. If the paper feels hard and scratchy I won't buy it because it will be a nightmare to write on it. I still use a fountain pen. And only a fountain pen so bleed through paperwise is nothing new to me. Actually I'm on my way to order my first Filofax A5. This will take place in December and I'm so excited. Keep up the good work Vicky.

I'm not asking in the way of "approval" of how money is spent on these oh so bringers of bliss,but my hubby just doesn't get my, well, collection of journals/pens/notebooks/books...He thinks I am sort of weird with my usual journal, datebook, pen/writing stuff trial that follows me around throughout the house. I'm like a Gretel with Le Pens and books to drop behind me, lol. Just curious about that. :-p
AngiP LOL I think everyone in my family things I'm weird with my obsession so I don't go overboard with my family and don't share too much. My hubby says that as long as it makes me happy he is happy with it. He listens politely but I don't bombard him too much because I know he really could not care less. Sometimes I do seriously wonder where the heck I got my journaling/book obsession from, since I didn't grow up around anyone else journaling or pining for bookstores (or office supplies stores, lol). I am so glad you share these things with us!
I used the stone paper ones as well and was highly disappointed. Ball point pens bleed through and transferred to next page. Paper mate Flair pens were even worse. Hope you have better luck thank I did with them.
Do you have your own laminator or do you take it to Staples? I've seen laminators out there and was wondering whether to make the investment. Love the laminated cover on your sketchbook!
Shabaddiction Stevens I just purchased a scotch tl901 off amazon from about $30 and I am absolutely and unbelievably obsessed with it. I would laminate myself if I could!! I don't know why it's taken me so long to get one!!
I love your videos but they are dangerous to me as you are an enabler big time!!! I can't help it; you are so pleasant and informative. I catch your enthusiasm and want to run with it. I've got to really watch myself and realize that at my age it would be easy to buy more notebooks than I could possibly use in the life I have left. I am a crafter and a lot of things I have cost me dearly so I don't want to leave this earth before I enjoy using them to create beautiful cards. B6 size is exactly between A6 and A5 (around 5x7 inches). B5 (my favourite) is between A5 and A4 and about 7x9.5 inches.
