I am a truck driver getting into journaling. I recently purchased a Moleskine notebook and an Oberon Design cover for it off of amazon.com. this is a very nice and inspirational video for me thank you. I like your reference to "abused and loved".
I'm a class A pro driver as well. Mom however was a PhD teacher. Later on in life, reading & learning bite me like a bug, and now it's a hobby. I like to journal as well. You might try poetry, I'm getting into that as well.
Thank you so much for your time and the effort you put into this video. I'm still figuring out what I want to do with my Midori, how I want to set it up, what inserts I want, etc. You gave such great info and a LOT of inspiration!
Thank you for posting about your midori. I have wanted one for awhile. Went on amazon and ordered one at the great price you talked about and now I'm not so patiently waiting for it to get here. Once again thanks for sharing all your helpful videos.
I really enjoy watching your videos. You're very informative and I love that you have a very diverse collection of planners. Your reviews help to narrow down which planners to get and how they will fit into my life.
Great video! I'm using an Arc Jr for my planner and love it. I'm wanting to start bullet journaling in it but I am so tempted by the Midori Notebooks! Looking forward to your video on bullet journaling. :)
Great video. It’s a very realistic usage of a Midori which I appreciate. I also appreciate you use of cloth diapers, that’s very rare in these days, bravo. More work, but less waste. I’ve also been through a few depositions being in the health care biz. I know they are grueling. It’s amazing that you can do all this with you job and family. You rock lady.
Oh MY GOSH!!! That's so so exciting!! You have to share with me when you do get it and what you think and everything!! I'm so excited for you!!! Thanks for watching! oxo

Just went to Amazon and ordered the Midori in black and some inserts. I cannot wait! I love watching your videos! Thanks for sharing! How is your fauxbonichi working out? Still enjoying it? I loved watching the video on that as well. You're very creative and inspiring!
AHHHHH I am so so excited for you!! I can't wait to hear back from you about how much you love it!! I love my fauxbonichi!! I use it every single day and I love to hold it and write in it. I really recommend it as well! Let me know when you get your midori!! Thanks for watching!!
Lamy Safari and Noodlers ... YEAH!!!! I'm a fountain pen user and my Lamy pens are my work horses. Good video and helpful ... thank you! I'm considering purchasing or making a Madori/Fauxdori.
Great vlog. I have the Midori passport size but was notified that Wonder Pens will have the regular size in next week (live in Canada). Can't wait! Would enjoy seeing a vlog of your bulleting system. TFS
That's very exciting! I have both sizes and find that I do use them both but for different things. I will be working on a video shortly to show you my bullet journal! Thanks for watching! xox
Thank you for sharing your Midori TN. I have to admit I am rather new to all this Midori/Filofax/Hobonichi/smashbooks...and I am hooked! I have always been a paper/pen person when it comes to planning life and corresponding to people. With texting and emailing I hardly ever get a chance to write. I love all things paper and writing instruments and with a Midori this gives me the fix I need! Thank you for the inspiration and I can't wait to get my Midori in the mail. For now, I found a great Faux Hobonichi for $1.50! It's an A6 size and it's perfect. My fountain pen works great without bleeding through.
Awesome video! I love my midori. I was using elastic bands like you to hold my books together but I hated how it would roll down the book. I ended up getting the midori bands and they make a world of difference. Btw, I started using my diy hobonichi. So fun! I posted pics on my instagram (foundandmade).
Awesome tip! I'm going to have to order them, I didn't think it made a difference but for sure I will get it now. I'm so glad that you love the fauxbonichi!! I love mine so much. I also am now following you on instagram!
I am interested in how you bullet journal. I saw your video and I started researching about bullet journaling. An interesting concept which I am trying it out.
MissVickybee Thanks Vicky for the new bullet journaling video. I wanted to let you know Amazon increased the price of the Midori. I clicked on your link about 2 weeks ago and it was $37 and today its $45 with $8-$10 for shipping.
With your dangly, try pulling it off and hooking it on the corner, with the dangle inside. Once you get used to it it's easy to do and it stops the whole lumpy jingly dangly ripping it off soon charm thing.
You are so funny!! I always literally laugh out loud when ever I read your comments or watch your videos. I love staring at miss maddie and sir scooby!! Anyway thank you for this tip it did help!! xo
Hi vicky I'm loving your videos, thank you so much for giving up your time and sharing your "obsessions!" I have an Erin Condren and like using it but then as I was browsing through your other planners I fell in love with the Doris. I love the cody williams and a few others too. Can you please advise me about the sizes please? I want the narrow one like yours but don't want to get the wrong size. Kind regards Nicola xxx
Nicola Wray Hi Nicola, What is your favorite size to work in? I love having a little bit of a wider size so I can fit more notebooks and also one that can fit the moleskine ones that way notebooks are easily accessible!
I'm so excited, I've ordered my first Midori in brown! We camp a lot so it's going with me as an organiser and journal. I can keep camp site information and maps of the area in there! I just can't wait, I've always loved booklets, notebooks, journals and pens. Your UA-cam videos are really inspiring!! Thank you so much xx nicola
I am new to this journaling, I am finding some items confusing. I am sorry if I sound stupid but how do you utilize bullet journaling, different calendars, DIYFish and different planners/book. Isn't this confusing? I love your drawings you are very talented.
I'm sorry it's overwhelming and I think what you are feeling is completely normal. I will have a video coming up soon about bullet journaling and how I utilize that. I hope that will help clear some things up. I think starting with one system is the best and then if you want you can explore more!!
Hi Vicky, can you please post the link to the fb 365 page with the monthly prompts? I think I found it, but I'm not seeing the list of prompts. Any help would be great! Thanks I love your vids!
Hi Emily, For some reason I can't copy the link into hear but what the group states exactly is 365/30:filofaxers and you have to request to join and then once you do there is document in the beginning of the feed and there is where the prompts are listed! Please let me know if this helps!
Thank you I found it and joined I love it! Thanks for the great inspo! Feel free to check out my site www.Createyou86.com and Instagram @createyou86 your videos rock don't stop making them ! -Em
Im thinking of getting one but they're just so expensive :( even the faux ones are, and thank you for this video its like an all in one video on exactly what i wanted to know about he midori
Hi Vicky, I am a new subscriber. In gearing up for the new year I have purchased a couple planners (one for work and another for work/school/church stuff). Please forgive me for asking, are you saying Moleskin Volant? Will they fit into the Midori? I am new but want one to keep in my purse and tote. Also I saw a ZLYC version on Amazon that offered a package deal with the regular and passport size. Have you heard about this brand before? Thanks in advance and Happy 2015!
cckay80 Hello! Yes I am saying Volant. You can usually find them at target and on amazon. You would have to cut them down in order to be able to get them to fit in the moleskine. I have not heard of that company before but I will have to check it out!
And you can get them cut down at any Office Depot or Staples style store - last time I went, Staples didn't even charging, but I think it was like $1 to get 6 booklets cut down at Office Depot.
MissVickybee for the information. BTW I went on Moleskine.com and was able to get the Moleskin Volant (Large Size 8.25 in x 5 in) set of 2 for $5.18 and shipping is free when you spend $35. Just thought I would share. I was even able to get some of the Extra Small sizes for $2.18 for a two-pack. They are having their Winter Sale.
Shelby Ingle Thanks Shelby! I bought the Large Size (8.25x5) so I will head to Staples to get them cut down. Now I'm just waiting for my Midori to come...Happy New Year!
For those of us who are technically challenged can you explain how to get the diy fish two sided. I did mine on 1 page each but now it has blanks in between.
Hahahah I'd love to tell you that I figured out how to do this perfectly but I would be lying. To be honest I just printed one page at a time and believe me I messed up a bunch of times and to be honest I love the idea but the printing is very frustrating!
hi new subbie here been watching your videos lately on journals could you please tell me the differences between a Hobonichi, Midori and a junk journal thanks hugs Caroline x
Hello!! Welcome!! Thank you for becoming a subscriber. They basically are all journals and I have videos on each of them if you would like to see a more detailed review. The midori is a great system and very customizable and the hobonichi is a bound planner! xoxo
are you still a SAHM? Are you still using cloth diapers? Did you transition to cloth trainersvwith the plastic covers? How often do you have to change th he baby? Do you get a lot of leakage/accidents? (I know this is an older video. But I also know you're either recently gave birth or are currently still preggers?
Yes I am at home with both girls and I love it, I do also work from home. I love the cloth diapers, I haven't used them as much with my newborn because of the frequent pooping but I plan to use them when I have a bit more of an understanding of her bowl movement schedule and then I can be more prepared. For night time I did double up and had no issues with leakage. I would say that you have to change them a bit mor often so that you don't run into leakage issues. Hope this helps!
Vicki Come on really, You dont need to loose any weight at all im 198lbs and i need to loose weight YOU DO NOT NEED TO LOOSE ANY WEIGHT HEAR ME LOL YOU DO NOT NEED TO LOOSE ANY WEIGHT
