Thought the same, I think it's some kind of FX unit to maybe bring in tape backing noise to give it a more authentic sound. It obviously does more than that but that's over my head.
Does anyone else watching this wish that it would go back to simply 2 decks, a mixer and vinyl??? It's good but still lacks the energy and ability that you used to see...just my opinion.
