Great review. After watching your reviews I have tried several of quality tequilas. So far G4 and Fortaleza are my favorites. Ocho will be my next purchase.
I tried the 2022 la canada and the mint flavor completely over powered the beauty of the agave for me. It a nice tequila but im more into blancos with cooked agave, peppery, grassy notes, Any recommendations?
Hey hombre, just tried El Tesoro and you nailed it, agave, some sweetness, herbal notes and very peppery it's a well made tequila with classic flavors. Ocho has also grown on me a bit. Thank you.
I recently tried this. Not sure about where the agaves came from yet (gotta double check the bottle). It was very surprising. Nice clean slightly sweet n smooth...especially for a blanco it surprised us since most of the blancos I've tried so far have been a bit harsh.
You've been trying the wrong Blancos of that's the case. Watch more of my Blanco reviews and try some more. Ocho is a great Blanco and there are more great ones for you to explore as well. Enjoy the journey!

@Jrocity Roc They are confused.. it happens with retailers sometime. Most of them do no know what they are talking about when it comes to tequila.. It's probably supposed to be repo..
Tasted like grass juice to me. I guess it’s okay if you like a very grassy tequila. Good in a margarita or bloody Maria but,for the price, I thought it would be a better sipper.

Awesome! Ocho is always a great option. Try to look for different names on the lower front label for different fields and flavor profiles.

El Tesoro. Don't give up on Ocho though. Just try a different field.

Ive tried 2017 and 2018 they are both great. I did notice that some retailers will charge more for certain years.

There isn't any flowers but the pencas (leaves) are used for all kinds of things.

I love Tesoro Repo and Añejo, but Ocho’s blanco is superior IMO.

Plata is another name for blanco.. and Yes, a trip to tequila is great. Just go on a tour with a group. 😀👍

Try a different year..each field is different. Some more.grassy than others. Some more sweet than others. It's the beauty of the beast..
