Ive just started sipping Tequila and i'm loving this journey... First off thank you for your content, about 90% of the time you are on point with your reviews and opinions. I live in Memphis and I do not have a lot of access to all of the brands you mention but of the ones I have found 90% I love .... G4 Blanco; I found the last bottle in Memphis today its outstanding , I love Pasote, El Tesoro, Fortaleza, Herradura Ultra Cristalino, El Espolon and 1942. These are all my go to's for sipping now thank you again ...

Just got my first bottle of this stuff. Quite similar to Pasote, but this is more floral and Pasote is fruitier. Absolutely delicious! The minerality in both is amazing!

I tried this tequila for the first time over the weekend. I haven't tried too many tequilas yet, probably 25, but so far this is the best I have had. Excellent blanco tequila.

I am not big Silver fan normally, but this one is the few exceptions. Very clean, slightly sweet cooked agave smell. Slight notes of clove and pepper. Really excellent sipping tequila.

Thank you for pounding the table about G4. I just bought and tasted the blanco and it may be my all time favorite. It’s hard to buy here in my beach town in Mexico, so I muled it down from the US. Amazing blanco.

I like watching the 'old shows' you tequila lovers put out on YT, Mark. I keep all three basic expressions of G4 on hand now, but was fortunate enough to find the Blanco Premium 108 at a pretty reasonable price, and it is DELICIOUS!
QUESTION, MARK. I love to sip scotch as well, and I know guys have heard of Ralfy on YT, who definitely recommend dropping the higher proofs down with a little good water to cut the alcohol, but it doesn't cut the flavor profile or complexity. Is that true for high proof tequilas as well? Thanks for a great show, my fellow sipper!
I don't recommend it with tequila. With scotch, because of the heavy barrel influence and that they can go higher proof than tequila they can be benefit from adding drops of water to open it up. Tequila doesn't rely as much on barrel influence and is maxed out at 55% or 110 proof. I am a believer that swirling in the glass to aerate the tequila is all you need. Just give it time after pouring in the glass and it will open up nicely. Once the bottle is opened, you'll notice it gets better in the bottle as well. Thanks for watching. Phenomenal product. Got my hands on a bottle this weekend. People that don’t even like tequila will say it’s good. I’ll admit though I did give them lime wedges and salt beforehand. Nonetheless phenomenal blanco

Next time peel, do NOT cut, an orange & "wedge it out" individually, no salt. It pairs so well imo. You can thank me later

Hey Mark, so I finally had the opportunity to try the G4 Blanco. Just happened to see it on sale at Ralph's so I brought it home. So good! Had dinner guests that same night and I brought it out for a quick taste. We liked it so much, we finished the bottle! Can't wait to try Pasote.

Hello, love your videos, Mark. Just purchased the G4 and can't wait to sample and thanks for educating me on diffusers and "add bombs." I will always be a budget conscious tequila expert haha. I've been drinking El Jimador blanco FOR YEARS...Never knew about the hidden bs w/ tequila and all its adds and diffusers, but get it cuz the agave has such a long time to mature.

Hey Tequila Hombre, have you had any of the Siembra Valles or Siembra Azual tequila? If so what do you think?
Yes. I have had plenty of the Siembra Azul. I really like the 10th anniversary and the 12th Anniversary reposados. I also enjoy the Elisa and the Suro is pretty good as well.

There are 1, 1.5 and 2oz shots as far as I know but I'm not an experts on shots as I don't do them. I sip my tequila neat.
It's hard to find where I'm at. Nut, I finally found it. I had to travel two hours away from home, but I got it now.

I just had it. It's very "light". Easy to sip, I just wish it had more agave. I'm still working on describing the tastes, but I believe thats what I'm looking for.
For example, I prefer the Fortaleza as it has much more "flavor" overall. Not as easy to drink but way more fruity and Agave. The G4 blanco is definitely not a mixer or on the rocks tequla because of how smooth and light it is. I just ordered 5 more blancos and will hopefully be able to get a feel for describing tequila.
I find it to be loaded with agave. The blanco is ALL agave.. Try the 108 proof too.. so unbelievably good!
what were your results from the other 5
I just got a new bottle & they don't use the wood top anymore. Its more of a black plastic thingy that has a synthetic cork. The flavor is near the same so that's what matters the most. Its one of my favorites besides Pasote & Forteleza.
I like G4 more than pasote.
I bought the G4 Blanco 100 proof today. I'm wondering if I should have bought the 80 proof instead. Is there much difference in the taste?

@@TheTequilaHombre Thanks for the response! I take your reviews as gospel. I would love to have a matching set from one distillery. Which brand would you choose that has the best Blanco, Anejo and reposado? Doesn't necessarily have to be one of the 3 brands I stated in my question above.

Nice Review.... what word you prefer to use instead of smooth....!!???
I don't like to use a single word to describe a complex spirit like Tequila. So in reference to the burn I would say it is "easy to drink" or just say "it has little burn".
I have been to El Pandillo. I have relatives who have a rancho down the street.
