This is really valuable info. I gave up on all but the smallest mags because I made this mistake and found it quite scary how much ink large mags can deposit.
I learned 40yrs ago.as an apprentice I spent months sweeping up.soldering needles and tracing. It was a hard way to learn but the only way back then. Good video .
Hey so I’d love to know more about the shaft at the top of the cartridges. I’ve noticed some are longer. I think I just burned out my first machine running it too hard. Like not enough stroke I think. I’d love to talk about how the machine runs the cartridge.
How do you tattoo your finger and make it stick? I've gone over 2 of my fingers, and they end up as just scars, with very minimal ink staying in, am I not going deep enough or is it because I go over the tattoo too many times?
If you're scarring, you're going in way too deep. Just did my fingers a couple weeks back using a 5RL, very lightly enough to penetrate, and came out fine.
Thanks so much Ben! You’re a star. Appreciate you and this course 🙏

What biggest size magnum do you recommend for beginners for packing black and color
Once you learn the technique you can use any. The bigger ones you have to take your time with and making sure that all needles are making contact.
