Great Adventure hun. Don't change the format. Those that keep doing the same thing over and over again get stail after a while . You keep doing what your doing.xx
I like the way your channel is, you make interesting content in a very easy going way. You show your trials and achievements and I for one enjoy following you and watching you grow with your camping.
Another great video from another great spot. I think the fog enhances the feel of the place. Love the variety in your videos so no need to change anything.
I enjoy your outings, particularly as so many are close to me yet reveal places unknown to me. I absolutely agree about you camping in the open rather than woodlands. Thanks for this. 😊
Cool video, the mist/fog certainly added to the ambience of the valley, always interesting looking at ruins, imagining the place in its heyday, etc, is the apprehension about woodland camping due too uncertainties about the security of the trees etc, don't forget, always welcome at the 3 counties bushcraft meets, can give you tips and tricks ,or answer questions you have, have plenty of smaller camps too inbetween the main camps, offers there, good health and safe travels, cheers craig
Fantastic video, such an atmospheric place especially with the fog. It's great to see you out and about and looking so happy. Also thank you for the credit xx
Great to see you tromping about the UK's lovely countryside again. Hugely enjoyable vid with lots of information and some rather cool drone footage. Loved it. Thank you. Oh, and you didn't look terrible at all though I'm not sure against which standards you are gauging yourself with regards to that :)
Nice vid. Remember finding a spring near the top of a mountain and thinking it woud be wonderfully refreshing, neglecting it was from peat. Was the most vile stuff. I went out for a wee wander the other day and after all the rain thought it would be a good idea to wear some gaiters with my boots, the envious looks and comments I got from other walkers was quite funny as they tried to gingerly step round the muddy parts of the paths..
Love the Goyt valley, many amazing routes from Buxton to Whaley Bridge around the rezzers. One of my first vids was following the old railway line that used to run over the hills there (Cromford & High Peak route). Good to see you again Lilu.
Good to see you back, hope the courses went well. The views on this film so soon after being shown, show you how good it is to see you being natural and enjoying yourself. Don't be afraid of the woodland, look around at the beauty and the different creatures your sharing it with and enjoy it.
Awesome to see you out again, the shrine is sooo dinky - love it! Nice job on the ploughpoint config with the tarp. You did good to find the log to tether off the centre loop (probably planned that way), but in case you want just that little extra height underneath, you could utilise your trekking pole by extending it out and gain the extra height by tethering the handle of the pole with say a marlinspike knot from the centre loop and placing the foot of the pole close to the centre pegged corner of the tarp, before running the cordage down to the log. Anyways, love seeing the places you visit. Take care.
you produce a very great video, no matter what others want to see , yours are very enjoyable to watch variety is the name of the game keep vloging your choice of stufff
I just realised that Errwoood Hall is the place featured, most magically, in Alan Garner's The Moon of Gomrath, a worthy sequel to his earlier Weirdstone of Brisingamen. I have literally spent the last half hour thinking I know this place, yet spookily I have never been there. Of course it turned out that I had visited if only through Mr Garner's authorial imagination. Now I have visited it again through the particular magic of your own video. Which was superb incidentally. I read the books as an older child, I still keep them on my shelves. I would recommend them even now. Travell well. With best wishes. I have naturally subscribed, I am not a complete idiot.
Oh wow, haha! At least it came to you, or you would be wondering 🤔 Thank you for the sub.. I love exploring these old ruins, and on quiet days, you feel the magic and atmosphere of days back then. I hope to find more places like this soon.
that place reminds me of Wycoller Hall - near Colne in Lancashire, but there are little packhorse bridges there and some famous spooky tales of horseman anda Grey lady or white Lady. Errwood looks great to visit, thanks for the introduction. I've not done the Peak District.
Nice video, i have been planning going there since before I was off the road, determined to get there as soon as I get van back, hopefully soon, thanks for this👍
Lovely to see it again, after all these years, thanks Lilu. Just love Rhododendrons and Azaleas running wild in the grounds of old houses. That seemed like a nice reintroduction for you. I don't understand the story that it was demolished due to the reservoir because it's about 50m above it. I wonder if the family just wanted out and got the water company to purchase the whole estate. I've got an old Thermarest RidgeRest, R is 2. At ~£30, I wonder if using two sleeping mats would help and be feasible ? But the Rab Ascent 800s are -15C so you should be OK with thermal sleepwear if you sleep cold ? A bivvy bag is also a good option to ensure the down bag doesn't get wet.
What a great video Lilu! I know how much work went into the editing never mind the great drone footage! You're getting creative with drony! Excellent job. We do have a beautiful country here 😊 x
@#adventureswithlilu I watch your channel... Iam a wild camping enthusiast. So the two can mix.. I don't watch car camping,, I don't watch hiking video's.... that doesn't sujjest I won't watch your camping videos . In fact I look forward to watching you do some camping videos again... from the hills n mountains, down through the forest to the beach.. Take care of yourself
Hello Lilu, hope you are doing well. The landscape looked beautiful and I would bet that house was awesome at some time. I was wondering how your courses are going and did you get the leak fixed on Scout? BTW you looked quite fetching in your blue trousers. Your channel is what you want it to be about and not how to get views. Thanks for the video and it was great to see you again. Stay well and be happy.
Thank you so much! Scout going to garage Thursday...the course is on going... part 1 passed...2 to go..Will take aboit 12 months I think....thanks for your ongoing support as usual x
Hiyah Lilu. I only recently found your channel but I've watched a few episodes and I like them. I hit 'Subscribe' almost as soon as I had found it and I'm looking forward to seeing where you go next. Sadly I probably won't enjoy seeing the motor home episodes because my late wife and I used to have one but I shall watch them anyway and It'll be nice seeing you enjoy them. Incidentally I also have a trekoloy UL 80 mat and apparently the R value is 1.6 but I back it up with a Multimat XL sleep mat which although it's only foam is half an inch thick and I've slept on it fine down to about 0 degrees. So that at only £15 from Go Outdoors would do you for now.
Thanks so much for your comment... glad to hear you enjoy the vids.. no more campervan filing for the foreseeable.. it was a charity van loaned to me to promote back in June. I use my car and tents usually 😊
Really Enjoyed this! With the Alcohol stoves, try warming the fuel in your pocket for a few mins if it's cold out, will light right up. What hat are you using here?
Opening scene tarp across it bivvy bag underneath in a storm, watch your viewer rating shoot up lol Only joking you tube was quick to bring you on to my time line. By the way if it wasnt for the madding crowd, half term and all the rest, you wouldn't have taken that walk lol As for your diet, I would have drunk the peaty bog, and binned rest of your food. Anyhows, have fun out and about Best of health Peter and lucky the Boxer dog
"I like to go in the opposite direction to anyone else! ! Brilliant ! 🙂
Thank you for sharing your adventures in UK. Always interesting.
Thank u
There's plenty of people just doing wild camping. I love how you show a bit of everything. It looks gorgeous there ❤️
Yes, thank you that's what I think. Surely doing the same vid over and over gets boring. I love variety
Great Adventure hun.

That Buxton brown water has magic powers. The last time I drank some, I pissed out of my arse.

A very pleasant video. I love fog, unless I’m driving. then it’s a nerve jangling nightmare.
Yes the drive into the valley was awful scary lol

Fantastic, would some of that surrounding area have been the grounds of the mansion house? Looks a lovely area.
I think so!
