    I live here, Elk island isn't quite in the city, you'll have to drive there. Oh, and if you go to the world waterpark, don't miss out on the looping waterslide!!!

    Over 36 festivals in Edmonton. (See Wikipedia) Some of them don't suck.
    X -It's really cold. Lots of mosquitoes. Bad drivers. Expensive.
    √ -Good Blues. Long Summer nights. Northern lights. Whyte Ave.

    Elk Island Park and the Ukrainian Heritage Village are both located 45 minutes OUTSIDE of Edmonton. Did the list-maker actually visit E-town or did she just cobble this tripe together after browsing the Travel Alberta website? Oh and the Art Gallery,... the nicest thing you can say about that monstrosity is, "At least it isn't a pyramid (you won't understand if you haven't been to the City Of Road Maintenance)".

    I'm trying to think, but I don't remember any festivals at all? There is the street performers festival, which is awful.

      hahah....you must be from there ;)I like Edmonton, but lets be honest- its a boring industrial city, where are no real night clubs (!!)- bars, and pubs only.... and there is literally nothing to do (all the things to do in Edmonton mentioned in this video i must disagree with- for ex Ukrainian culture heritage is closed everytime i want to go and see its opened only in summer time), street car- i dont understand what is so great about it- the view only but the whole ride lasts for about 10 minutes and its done) ....and i never feel safe there walking by myself at night.

    I don't think it's that bad, I wouldn't go back though. I just found it too much when they said it's Canada's festival city haha it's totally not true and I'm sure that you agree :(

    This city sucks so much ass! The only satisfying thing to do in this city would be to stop at 118th, and have yourself one hell of a time!

    So Little Miss Knowitall, what do you consider "Canada's Festival City". Or did you just post a dissenting opinion here because you're tired of being told to STFU in person?

  • @litzburger
    @litzburger 11 років тому

    i've lived in Edmonton for 10 years, fatfred, and other cities throughout Canada, probably unlike you, and let me tell you that Edmonton is NOT Canada's festival city. have you ever been out of your house before? I guess not. Anyways, Montreal tops it and Toronto. Why are you so frustrated about an OPINION anyways? aS Soon as someone says an opinion they should be told stfu? How old are you??

  • @JohnDoe-mp7io

    I lived there for 15 years, and it is an awful city.
