Yeah, Dr Ken Berry, who advocates for eating very low carb and plenty of good animal fats & protein has been saying for several years that illness is not from a lack of pills in the diet. He should be the surgeon general of the U.S. along with other intelligent doctors like this one speaking here. They aren't in the pocket of big pharma & big food!

I have Dr Bright's book on girls. I'd say the last chapter was the most important, as a mother of a now 12 year old girl. (today is her 12th birthday 😢😊) I feel good as a mom that she hasn't started her cycle yet, isn't on any meds and is a happy young girl turning SLOWLY into a young woman. I credit her carnivore lifestyle and being homeschooled for this. She doesn't eat a bunch of crap but not having the stress and pressures that school offers allows her to grow and develop naturally.

Dr Bright is a true warrior for women’s health. I just got both of her books and am 7 days in on the carnivore diet as a type 1 diabetic since age 13 (47 now). Thank you Judy for this very informative channel! ❤

The biggest medical misnomer is that serotonin is the "happy hormone". When you look at the research it has more to do with digestion and our immunity and very little to do with mood but majority of people have been misinformed on this for a long time, including myself.

Central and peripheral Neurotransmitters have different functions! This was very well described by James Olds. And that's why your peripheral serotonin (and dopamine, and acetylcholine, etc) doesn't cross the Blood-brain barrier

It’s not just carbohydrates 😮. It’s the toxicity we live in. It’s the glyphosate drift, the chemtrails, the EMFs, blue light, and stress 🤦‍♀️ it’s because of the toxicity that we can’t eat carbs

My granddaughter is on a depression pill and now because of painful periods and bleeding very heavy wants to put her on the pill she's 16. She eats like crap and doesn't listen to a word I say. She also has the MTHFR gene. I requested blood work before her doctor puts her on anything else like ALL of the thyroid tests. I'm sure she will be going on the pill because she told me she isn't going to stop how she eats. It's very frustrating and sad.

Wow this is eye opening! I suffered with childhood eczema and also had a pretty rough beginning with a lot of stress throughout my earlier years. Parents weren’t present, tossed from family members then eventually foster care when my grandmother was too elderly..Eczema was “just one of those things” I hated about myself..Eczema went away when I started keto several years ago & stays away as long as I avoid grains completely, even the smallest amount of wheat will show up on my upper arms within a couple of days

Loved this conversation! Dr Elizabeth Bright is so intelligent and interesting to listen to plus she’s a wealth of useful information and insights. I always learn a lot from her and I adored her menopause book! As a mum of a young teenage daughter this conversation was particularly relevant to me. I’m currently trying to source a paperback copy of her new adolescence book to ship to Ireland. Not easy to find so far, but I will persist. Thanks for such a great interview and a great podcast 😊

Yeah but at the end it's the same thing, you need healthy hormone for healthy gut and healthy brain.
We usually end up talking more about female hormones because they are super complex and run the body more than male's.
But you need to know to eat meat and animal fat: period.
Get sun on your skin and in your eyes
      Get sleep.

    • @FocusedFighter777
      @FocusedFighter777 2 місяці тому +1

Men arent.usualy told to avoid meat because it isnt "feminine" to eat a lot or eat meat.
All these things enter into consideration too.
Also, you guys dont take birth control pills/devices that ruin your body/brains with their fake chemicals.
      You think of all that?
Many women are still being lied to and use these everyday: hence we still need to talk about it all.

My experience lines up with some things Dr Bright has said in the past, the male/medical perspective seems to be "we are like "this", therefore "this" is normal" woman: "I'm not like "this." male/medical: "Oh my God! You're sick or broken, let's sort out how to fix you!"

Can you please address the evidence that claims that most of the immune system is located in the gut, dependent on the consumption of healthy fiber. Reportedly, meat does not have fiber. Also, can a high fat and protein diet be accomplished with a healthy, whole food vegetarian diet? Thank you.

White pockets around the eyes - I believe I read it is when you have excess cholesterols in the body. I dont know the treatment but look into this on google and maybe ask carnivore and low carb doctors.

🫁 She’s right about low cortisol but with your son’s age being what it is I don’t think it’s a low cortisol issue: when an individual is having an asthma attack, it’s the lungs cleansing and healing. When that “attack” ( scary but not actually dangerous like we’ve been led to believe) hits you need to let it run its course. When it’s done is because that lung has healed. Asthma becomes dangerous when you take drugs aka more toxins into the lungs to stop the healing process. When you keep doing that eventually an asthma will become fetal because you now have so much damaged lung tissue and will suffocate. Bright is confusing air hunger from low cortisol with actual asthma. Raw a2 dairy and letting my son actually go through the healing process is what healed him. The body makes no mistakes. It’s simple. Run a saliva cortisol with waking response on the kid and you’ll see. 🤦‍♀️ the lungs are NOT overreacting. Sad this is what’s still pushed. The body makes NO mistakes only we do. Autoimmune is just rogue 😮omg NO it’s not. It’s a toxicity issue
