- The Splatoon 3 Fyre vs Big Man vs Shiver Splatfest was the most toxic splatfest of all time. We had to decide who was the best leader. Obviously Fyre was the best leader but some people thought other wise. THEY WHERE ALL WRONG.
We all know Shiver Cheated. She wins every splatfest. we just don't have evidence yet.

@@onionloaf2804 The float thing, is when you win a 100× or a 333× battle you can take a photo with the Idol who leads the team your on.
You can board the float whether you have the DLC or not.
@@onionloaf2804 When you win a 100x or 333x battle, you're able to board your idol's float (those things that fly around the plaza during spatfests) along with the team that you won the battle with. You can do this by using the splatfest team selection booth.
Toxic or not, Team Frye was the BEST team I've ever been on ❤ Everyone on Team Frye was so cool, chill and fun, they made the whole experience worth it ❤❤❤

Every time I got matched against another Frye team (as a Frye member) it also developed into a squid party, and it was great

As a player on Frye's team, I can say that it hurt me to see only the 18% of votes was for this team. We really deserved to win!
Especially with the fact that 70% of players we faced were with frye

I had fun with this Splatfest, and I did find the salt and cope after hilarious (though I will admit I think this Splatfest did reveal the main flaw with having the Splatfests be global), but at the same time, I have to admit that it's not really fun to have Splatfests when they're THIS divisive in the community.
I find the divisive topics to be MORE fun. Feels like people are more attached to their teams. There'll be salt afterwards, but the energy of the fest stays high. It's not like the deserted island Splatfest where I felt like most people were like "I GUESS I'll pick this team, even though I wouldn't mind picking something else."
@@zanpakutoman4225 Maybe before, but I've seen less of this in Splat3 personally. I don't hover around the community a whole bunch, but just enough to gather that lately with the Shiver win streaks, she's been getting more heat and talking about the idols can feel a bit more hostile.
In the case of this Splatfest, while the theme was framed around 'best leader', I guarantee you that the vast majority of the people took this Splatfest as more of a popularity poll.
It IS a popularity poll. Shiver’s design with her being a gorgeous Asian with blue hair and red eyes vs the weird designed vampire middle eastern and Animal Mascot….No contest. I still chose Frye KNOWING she would Never win 🤣

Kids do play the game you can attribute alot of "toxicity" to them being very into something they love
Yoo I chose Shiver because of that dang dialogue in story mode
Frye was trying to scare us- big man and shiver were laughing in the background-(like the two side characters that they are so, point to Frye)
But OBVIOUSLY I WASN’T INTIMIDATED by FrYe. And then Shivers all like: I’m bOred of this conversation- then gives us some death threat eyes-(which I don’t think we’ve EVER in Splatoon seen Splatoon idols smirking like a psycho- so I was like hhhh intimidating so scared to battle her now-(which beating her was EASY.)
Also her maturity levels- imo may be higher than Frye’s and bigmans a bit.
And that’s why I chose her 😮
But we all know who the REAL leader is. ITS OBVIOUSLY FRYE.
Idk if y’all know this but SHIVER IS A KLUTZ- sometimes STUMBLING in SPLATFEST CONCERTS-
And at the end when we beat her in story mode. And I’ve also noticed while when you knock Frye a bit unconscious- she actually gets back up- and Frye even has perfect balance-(how she dancin on top of that thing it’s insane!)
While once Shiver gets knocked out- it’s OVER. She gets too dizzy to even get back up hhhh
And then Frye rather have wisdom than Power. Obviously SHIVER WANTS POWER LIKE WE ALL DO-
But uh- those aren’t leadership roles.
So..the leadership is kinda??? Leaning more on FRYE.
But idk man I think none of them should be leaders tbh-

I wish they showed us the votes per country. Japan probably voted all mostly for Shiver cos duh, but I’d like to see how the rest of us voted and played.
Honestly I'm all for the removal/radical overhaul of splatfest in general. I've never been a massive fan but there's something about three's that is making them intolerable. Without shifty station from 2, or the general novelty that 1 had going for it, the whole thing is just... turf war...
idk just open ranked modes and don't make them count towards final scores so I can ignore the festival. I'm so tired.

My first ever game for this splatfest was a 100x battle and I was planning on taking it easy and practice a bit with my charge flicks. I shit you not we won by about 2p and it was by far the most stressful game of my life because it was also my first 100x win.

I was under the assumption frye would win tbh. I chose big man (as i do every splatfest because I love big man) so I’m not mad at ppl choosing their favorite idol. I just don’t enjoy how its worldwide so japan just gets to decide the splatfest

ngl, I had lots of fun on Saturday despite losing in the end like 90% of the time when one doesn't go with Team Shiver.
The random Tricolor map feature was nice too despite most maps really not working well for it, at least we could play on the Triforce again.
Personnaly I don't have fun with splatfest. Because it's just random, it doesn't matter how good you are and how good you play.
I don't want to play aerospray or any shooter and wait the last 30 seconds to win a game. I don't want to spawncamp attackers, or not be able to play because defender camps. I don't want to play in tricolor when your teamates hard focus the other attacking team because "it's shiver team" 💀

I chose Shiver in this Splatfest. It's the most fun I've had with a Splatfest so far. I finally won a good amount of 10x battles.
It was tough, but just a good time over all.
It’s a shame, because Frye is very obviously the better option. Can’t wait to see Shiver fumble the bag as leader lmao

Frye’s the most competent in the story mode and she’s a good balance between Shiver’s ambition and Big Man’s kindness-I worry that with Shiver now being the leader and Big Man being the backbone of the group by producing their music, Frye will be left in the dust and won’t really have a unique role in the group :(

I do like Frye for some splatfests but as a Shiver fan, sorry. I do think it should've been closer between Shiver and Frye.

Is there a disconnect strat for 100x or 333x battles? The two 100x battles I managed to get into went the same. Go center, kill an enemy, then they disconnect. It's so frustrating. All I wanted was to take my picture by the float thing lol. For future Splatfests I have to intentionally play bad so they don't disconnect?
i think it’s just people ragequitting a lot of the time. like a ‘if i can win you won’t either’ mindset. missed out on a 100x cause i sharked a guy and conveniently he was the one to dc right as he died 🤔

I was on team Shiver and won a LOT of 10x's this Splatfest. But I lost TWO 100x's, BOTH of them with a meme team I created with the same three friends of mine.
I was Team Frye and very disappointed with this loss. 😢
I was on team big man because after big betrayal I think he deserved the win (bro just wanted to make some sick music, he didn't betray anyone and the squid sisters actually let him do a lot of vocals). But I will admit I mostly just didn't want shiver to win, can't believe we let the money and power idol win again.
Also my squad spent half the splatfest running 4 big swigs and were still winning our games, so at the very least we had a lot of fun like big man would have wanted lol

I hate tricolor when all sides are the same team (so like Frye vs Frye vs Frye or Shiver vs Shiver vs Shiver). Everyone needs to paint for the clout but the idiots just sit there and do nothing. They’re like “Automatic win for my team so why do anything?” and I’m like “FOR THE CLOUT! Paint like you mean it!” And guess what? Team Frye loss. Yes, I was team Frye and my fellow tricolor teammates were absolute idiots.
You don't get Clout for mirrors period. That includes Tricolor.
Yup, the first response is right. Let your teammates have fun and relax between serious matches, mirror matches are literally worth nothing. You could ink 2000 points and still get 0 clout. I dare say people on your splatfest team aren't going "automatic win for my team so why do anything?" but are instead going "Ah, a relaxing game where I can celebrate the splatfest with other members of my team and have fun!", because having fun and celebrating is ultimately what the splatfest should be about.
In my experience Big Man team was the toughest to fight against.

The reason is because you don't know how many people picked Shiver in Japan or in the other regions as there are no official figures. It's all just baseless conjecture.

As someone from team Frye, i am SO sorry that my fellow Frye members are being mean. We're really upset because of the vote ratio, honestly. Majority of japan players are colourist and they do NOT like Frye. It was rigged BECAUSE they mass voted Shiver. I know that's still no excuse tho! We shouldn't be awful to others. I had tons of fun during this fest and I hope others did too!!💕

Sooooooo, about last splatfest before that, I was very salty about the results. Now, this splatfest, I tried to help Team Frye and Team Bug Man (I’m in team Big Man), but we lost, I was shocked about the popularity and I was upset. I lost mostly of the splatfests, soooo, I guess I’m done playing it.
After watching your videos since s2 I’m subscribing today after seeing that you went to battle for team Frye.

The splatfest was an extremely close match, biggest difference was only a 0.60% difference.
It could hsve been anyones game even if shiver was the most popular, nonone reagion was to blame for her victory, no regional is not needed and no, dispite what some people are trying to spin this as, it wasn't a racist motivation.
The systems in place in the game are designed to let evey team have a chance at winning, so shivers team were just hard working and it paid off
Shiver is my leader.
Frye is my Queen.
Big Man is my friend :)

My win/lose ratio went from 31/16 to 16/31 in just one splatfest, also the only time the game actually went good, a shiver member dced damnit
It's so annoying when people DC especially in Open as losing still contribute to giving team point
It is even more annoying when you are in the middle of making a comeback but a teammate decide to DC at 1min20 left and end by getting stomped for 1min after the comeback falls apart due to rough 3v4

Shiver has officially won 70% of the splatfests (including the preview). I'm thinking 3-way splatfests were not a great idea.
Even if it the winner was totally random and everyone was equally split, that means a majority of the players will always be upset lol
