@@jacobsstefan Thanks for the kinds words! Nothing too fancy on the snare; compressor is FabFilter Pro-C 2 at 4:1, medium attack, fast release. Can't remember if he used a Big Fat Snare, but we have one floating around the studio so it's very possible.

He turned down my beer offer...because he was headed to the green room to have one with John, but he couldn’t have been kinder. He’s record is real rich. It’s great to see he’s got another one to build ff this momentum. It’s clear his artistry is getting hotter. “Get you back” is a an awesome song. I can relate to that dark climb.
