Love the rainbow effect from the reclaimed boards. Possibly dead tree was quite the curveball! Already looking forward to the next episode!

      Thanks Brandy!
The tree being dead never crossed my mind. We are too far into it now so if I have to call the tree man and write the check, so be it. But it won’t happen anytime soon.
For now we have a tree house to finish.

Thanks Paul, I think maybe it won’t just be the kids enjoying it. My wife wants to move in!

You know you're old school when you break out the ol trusty cordless Eastwing out.

I wonder where all the old Estwings go? I don’t think you can where them out. They still sell boatloads of them. One day they might be collectors items, maybe.

@@barrylukebuilds7894 , I know I own 4 myself, all inherited from my dad, no telling how long he had them. He was 45 when I was born and I'm 53 now. I wouldn't trade them for the world. Best thing man has made

To get a trailer to go into tight spots, put a hitch on the front, way easier to move a trailer
To avoid wood splitting, blunt the tip of the nail

Mazda Man! Interesting thought about putting the hitch on the wrong end. I can see that the distance to the axles would be much less. Good old trick about dulling the nails, I knew that but it didn’t click into the old noggin. Another trick is to not use Southern Yellow Pine for rafters. Unfortunately fur/spruce/ hemlock is just not stocked in our local lumber yards.
Thanks for watching and thanks for taking the time to comment.

@@barrylukebuilds7894 It's done to all aircraft towing trucks. It allows to push the plane more accurately than backing up. I have a hitch on the front and rear of my truck, van, and car.. Once you use it, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it
