It’s like little me staying home from school to play old school cod online with the boys except now it’s old me staying home from work to kill bugs/terminators with the fellas. Let’s do our part for DEMOCRACY!!

Tips from lvl 45:
Railgun and personal shield are a MUST.
CC and delaying the enemy becomes more important than damage output.
Heavy armor is a death sentence.
Bile Titan takes 3 rail guns to the face.
Charger takes 3 to the arm or two and then small arms fire.
KILL STALKER NESTS AS SOON AS YOU CAN. They will end your run.
And lastly keep moving. Staying in one spot guarantees mission failure.
do you throw grenades down the holes to do that?
also what are your best armour choices and gun choices
@@hallow2387Yes nades work, but also the grenade launcher and many orbital/eagle stratagems work too. Best gun is the first Breaker shotgun from the core warbond and best armour is anything light, go with whichever has perks that you like as they are all pretty useful imo.
Do you do quickplay or play with friends im a slow leveler cuz i have to wait for friends to get on

You know. I was thinking about it. It kind of isn't propaganda. We ARE clearing these planets for thinking species. The automatons and bugs don't think, don't trade, don't coexist. We ARE clearing the way for "democracy" indeed.... Now, whether or not democracy is of much value.... Well that's up for debate.

One thing to note is that healing also gives you infinite stamina for a short amount of time.
This is the best warhammer 40k game without being warhammer 40k. This setting is perfect for being a space marine, dropping down on planets to fight tyranids, necrons, orcs or demons. And you could have different space marine chapters as helldivers, ---- bolter, melta weapons etc.
When someone pointed this out I was so mad and now I cant unsee it, please Arrowhead, get a collab with Gamesworkshop and make this happen!
Space marine 2 comes out next month

The magazine waste is low key the best part of the game.
I love everything related to the weapons in this game, but that part is at the top of the list. Completely changes the feeling of combat.

Change the strategem controls in your settings from WASD to your directional keys so that you can key them in without impeding your movement control. When the fight is at it's nastiest and you need to call stuff in faster than ever, only being able to move in the direction that matches your strategems will get you killed so many times.
Dynamic aiming setting is also a real convenient way to just 3rd and 1st person aim by holding/pressing the same aim button (while aiming in 3rd is plenty fine in most situations, even most assault rifles are surprisingly proficient at sniping via tap firing in 1st person at long range).
Ngl binding strategems to mouse buttons has been a godsend
Highly recommended if you own a mouse with 4 extra keys

Was also first part I noticed, but if you join someone that has the DLC gives you also access to that game, just not on your own ship.
Just for clarification, the SOS Beacon prioritize showing your lobby/session to other players. Even if you don't call it in game, people can still join you as long as your matchmaking is set to "Public" and not "Friends only" in the gameplay menu.

I noticed no tips for Automatons.
Tips:
Aim for the head. With the exception of tanks and heavy mechs, headshots can kill the rest very quickly (even the ones with shields).
The Automaton dropships can be instantly destroyed along with their passenger(s) by hitting one of their 4 thruster pods.
Use cover or the Ballistic/Energy Shield equipment. They can save your life if you get caught by a large swarm all firing lasers at you.
While you didn't have any unlocked, boosters are an absolute godsend and a tip I would give is to try and prioritize unlocking them as soon as the page they are on becomes available: boosters are equipped in the drop prep screen just like stratagems and they apply to the entire squad. The first one is already useful since it applies both at the start of a mission and whenever someone is reinforcing after getting killed, but there are also other really good ones like the increased stamina capacity + regen combo that makes traversing the map in general as well as, ahem, "tactically relocate" much quicker since you can sprint for longer and more often

"Tactical relocate" sounds awfulyl close to a traitor's retreat soldier, but we'll let it slide, for Democracy! 😆
The EAT-17 Expendable Anti-Tank actually calls TWO rocket launchers down, not one. You can share it with your friends, or just use two yourself. 70 seconds per call-in is surprisingly short, and unlike the GR-8 Recoilless Rifle, the EAT-ITs don't take up a backpack slot. I'd actually put them about equal in terms of usefulness, but it does depend on the situation.
Backpack slot has a lot of competition. The guard dogs and the shield generator are really, really valuable.
It's honestly pretty competitive with the recoiless especially when playing solo since in addition to getting two launchers per drop, the quick cooldown makes them expendable for luring patrols away and just disseminating a bunch across the map. Recoiless gets better with other players since with the assisted reload it can be fired incredibly quickly.
I'd certainly use the rockets more against automatons. A tad slow killing a patrol and a dropship got called? Blast that ship out of the sky and take its reinforcements with it. With the bugs I say the rockets mostly have use against chargers and titans to help crack that armor if you can't quite get a consistent line on a weak spot
You could fire every rocket from the recoiled launcher before you’re cooldown is done for another 2 expendables

Even as someone who doesnt (for now at least, I hope lol) have any friends playing the game, the experience with randoms has been pretty decent. A fair amount of them are willing to communicate through comms and if not, they still ping where they wanna go and stuff. Have only had 1 experience where a member wanted to go and rush the main objectives for some reason.
I felt this hard lol. I’ve been on steam for about 6 months and I still don’t have any friends on it 🤦🏼

not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, but another reload tip is that if you reload when you have exactly 1 round left, it noticeably cuts down on the reload time. especially useful for weapons with long reload times like the machine gun.
That's usually because an empty gun, in games, requires the gun to charged on Reload - like pulling the bolt

On PC you can remap the stratagems to be the arrow keys so you can still move while calling them needs a little practice but worth it

I recommend reloading the machine gun when it has a few bullets left in the mag. The reload with an empty mag is significantly longer, making it super dangerous to reload mid combat. Either reload before it's completely empty or reload between combat scenarios.

Entertaining, btw, you don't have to stay at extraction spot, just let it send down a shuttle after the timer runs out and keep far away from the platform, all of the bugs will wander off and leave the platform area, the shuttle will come down with no bugs in the area.
@Rurikhan - Thanks for the video and information, really helpful. Try to get a video out asap on the types of missions/objectives, how to complete it and whether its recommended to solo or play with a team. This will also help noobs understand objectives of missions, lots of them run around like headless chickens and shoot at trees and rocks. Sweet Liberty

Just to correct you there looking at the map does not prevent you from running in fact what I usually do is Sprint and then open my map so I can continue sprinting and when you do that you could even tag if you're dexterous enough you can even tag stuff on the map if you have an armor that pays enemies when you tag on the map that really helps
But you will lose the map if you fall down even a little bit it will close the map if you stumble not if you get hit though I don't think but if you get hit by a charger yet it will close the map
Basically if you're in control of your actions even if you die it will not close the map but if something happens that's not in your control like a charger slams you it will close it now I also noticed you cannot shoot while you have the map open or press l1 and go down strategies while it is open and I can really mess you up because you might need to shoot all the sudden cuz hunters are on you especially lately with the newest update hunters absolutely insane so I always make sure as soon as you're done using the map you close it down I really like this function in the game it does give it even more realism after all you do have that badass touch screen on your wrist
Nice video, my first attempt at this game resulted in a CTD right after i got extracted on my 2nd mission. But after some encouragement from command i got back into the fray.

For reloading, mags with a bullet in it reload faster than fully empty ones. Ideally you can know how many rounds in your mag and use all but one.

I like the autocannon a lot, basically a recoilless with a 10 round magazine you can reload yourself if you wear the backpack. And it reloads faster than the recoilless. Probably does less damage but is still good for chargers and it can close bug holes

Expendable Anti-tank drops two at a time. In the video, you assumed you got only one in error. So it's not one rocket every minute, it's one every thirty seconds, and you don't need to reload it or carry a pack letting you use something else. Same stats as the Recoilless Rifle.
I hate to be the one to defend cod, but when u reload a mag that isn’t empty yet, that’s called a tactical reload and your guy actually keeps the mag after switching it with a new one.

15:00 not just supplies. all yellow strategems are shared. that includes the ones you get during a mission like the turret thingies.
Remember that your face blocks the lower right game.
So, when you're highlighting 10:14, we can't see that unless you invert your box to the right or disable for that timestamp.

I loaded up the game for the first time, had no idea what I was doing and dropped into a VERY hot zone full of what looked like Terminators and was immediately blitzed like 15 times. How do you suggest picking your first few missions? As much detail as possible, plz!

18:00 If you turn on Dynamic Aim Mode in gameplay options, tapping right click will put you into first-person aim right away as a toggle. It's nice if the middle-mouse toggle is awkward or too slow for you.
Also, calling stratagems with arrow keys is a common keybind change so you can still move while punching in the code. Making the switch early is the best time to adjust to the initial awkwardness.
Something to add on 4 I have found purple samples very rarely so I think when green and orange samples show at the bottom it means most likely you’ll only get them with a rare chance of purple

10:55 Small correction, the EAT 17 gives you 2 rockets, 1 on each side of the deployment package. So fire 1, circle around and grab the other.
Many people are saying that the game is P2W. But after having purchased the premium pass I really don't think so. Weapons and armor have practically the same stats, the only thing that changes is the skin of the weapons and armor. You can buy passives in the normal pass on other armors. And not to mention that the best weapon is the shotgun which is in the 4th tab of the normal pass lol And I bought the premium pass with the credits I earned playing
It's not, you can find the premium coin in game... also, having good equipment doesn't mean a win
At first I saw 48 minutes and was like damn I don't want to watch all that, but this was the video I needed
the number on screen for the ammo is the amount of mags, not the amount of bullets inside the mag, so that weapon has more than 10 bullets per mag, shotguns reload shell by shell so you can reload at any time without losing ammo.
Right now only two of the available shotguns are rounds reload (Punisher and Slugger). The remaining 4 (Breaker, Breaker Spray&Pray, Breaker Incendiary, and JAR-5 Dominator) are mag reloads (3 are drums and the SG-225 Breaker full auto shotgun uses a reg mag). I have every currently available weapon but the SG225-Breaker has been my weapon of choice lately. Thing is a beast.
@mandrews6282 The Dominator is not a shotgun. It's in the Explosive category and functions like a DMR.
