I would love a video about grow lights!! It’s so hard knowing what do get, how far/close to put from plants, how long to keep on, etc! 😭 I know it can vary a lot depending on how much natural light the plant is getting as well. So for new plant enthusiasts, it’s a struggle lol
I caught an employee at Lowe's cleaning up the clearance section, AKA throwing things out. I asked her if she would mark down what I picked out... I got four plants for $10! Majesty Palm, two Dracaena, and a mystery friend ❤️
So funny watching you hide behind the plants when your husband was asking for a discount!! Hope the new pot is big enough for your plant, I'm really bad at judging pot sizes. 😊❤🤗
I just want to say how much I appreciate your videos and your love of the plant babies! I wish our Lowes had such beautiful plants. I wouldn’t have been able to pass up that Hoya carnosa compacta, girl! I haunt our local Home Despot (!) and Lowes just in case they get really good plants in stock. Oh- and early in the season Walmart of all places had some STUNNING plants. So much fun! 🙌😄❤️🙏
Okay- I wouldn’t have been able to pass up the Epiphylum zig-zag, either! 😂 My business partner used to be a horticulturist so we have a TON of plants proliferating in our basement office and we do plant shopping therapy to combat stress.
Thanks for bringing us along! That's crazy the different prices for the monsteras....I'm the worst at judging sizes with my pots as well! Thanks for sharing have an amazing week!💙💙💙
Me every chance I get when I'm a store with plants 😂 I'm just browsing..walks out with a new house plant or 2 😅 Lots of love from Canada and stay safe ❤
This is the largest indoor plant section I've ever seen at a Lowe's. Although I did find a good plant section at one in the south bay when I lived in Oakland. I hop around checking out the different Lowe's when I run across a new one, and I've never seen such low prices. Definitely jealous! And I'm going to pick up my hunt to find all the best Lowe's for plants around Portland! Also, second the interest in a video for grow lights.
I really appreciate these kinds of videos because if I go into a store like this to just "look" i'll have spent 100$ by the time I leave. Love your content!
Love this! I go to lowes so often I’m pretty sure they think I’m casing the joint. But it’s their own fault- intermittent rewards cause increased behavior 🤷🏼♀️ Sometimes there’s nothing, but then they’ll have exactly what I’m searching for! Found a LUSH cebu blue there on Thursday for FIFTEEN DOLLARS. I gasp/squealed and may have danced a little.
I have yet to see any Hoya at my big box stores, probably a good thing. I bought my parents a Plumeria from Home Depot and it's doing pretty well so far. My dad remembers them fondly from when he and my mom went on their honeymoon. I hope your pot works out, if not you'll have to buy a plant that will fit it.😉
I just purchased a Sansevieria Trifasciata Golden Hahnii, that has almost a full-grown pup (for only five dollars!!) on its side after watching your snake plant video !
Also it’s very interest to see plants that are not that common to see here (that people pay good money for) sell so cheap there and also the other way around.
YES... The Prices Have Definitely Gone UP!!! My Cousin Took Me To The S.F. Lowes On Bayshore On Friday. Which S.F. Lowes Were You At??? The Prices Actually Seem To Be Running Lower. The Bayshore Lowes Was Showcasing Hanging Adansonii In 5 Inch Pots Instead Of Their Usual Pothos... THEY Were $16.98. I Was Hoping To Get A Costa Farms Trending Tropicals Fix... BUT It Seems Lowes Has Dropped THEM... And Went With Altman's Plants. Did You See Any Other Hoyas There???... Other Than The Hindu Rope??? I Wound Up Getting A Never Never Land Plant Priced At $16.98 For A 6 Inch Pot... Before I Think IT Would Have Been $14.98.
I'm so glad you found that philodendron apple?? I saved one from Walmart and had no identification and I know it looked liked a philodendron moonlight.....but not lol
I'm pretty sure the cactus next to the monstrose cactus, that you said you liked (the one with the pups), is an Echinobivia hybrid Rainbow Bursts. I skipped over them repeatedly earlier this season until I saw a small unassuming one putting off a huge 'arm'...and Wow, it has flowered twice just this month and the flowers are Big, as well as beautiful. I can't recommend them enough now, so if you get a chance, you should really pick one up because the floral payoff really makes up for the simple structure of the cacti itself.
A few days ago I realized that I have been caring for plants as a hobby for about 3 years now, I have 32 of them, and I have never spent my own money on a single one, not even on supplies. How does your husband feel about your plant hobby? My mom likes the decor but not the clutter and stuff lmao so she won’t let me go plants shopping because I have too many for her, and you live in an apartment with 300! Also a few days ago I was browsing for plants (I don’t bring any money just look for cuttings lmao) and I reached in between some leaves to get some string of hearts that I saw, when I pulled my hand out it was covered in these little yellow hairs. I thought that it was pollen stuck on the leaves so I went to brush it off but it immediately started stinging, turns our the leaves I had reached through to get the cutting were covered in little hair-like spines. It took me almost an hour to get most of them out and the rest have been stuck in my hand ever since, it is red and swollen and stuff but I can’t remove the little hair lmao.
Greetings, I’m new to your channel. I love watching you talk and give advice on maintenance. 🌱 I have been binge watching your videos. I was wondering: I like your nail polish 💅. What brand do you use? Thanks for sharing 🧘🏾♀️🪴
I bought one of those peacock calathea a month ago from lowes and it was doing well up until two days ago, putting out new leaves and then brown edges and curled up leaves happened over night. Then I read how sensitive they are to tap water so I repotted it yesterday and flushed it with distilled water. Not sure if it will make it.
this is exactly what i needed for my mental health😂🪴 can’t wait for the discussion on grow lights, i would love to hear about your different styling recommendations for them , esp. with different types of plants!💗 xx
Those peperomia caperata look like caperata emerald green, but light starved. Not sure if it’s a different kind of caperata and that is supposed to be yellow.
Bromeliads scare the heck out of me! Frogs, and more disgustingly cane toads, live in them, and cane toads are very poisonous (and disgusting!) I bought one once, and literally carried around a cane toad, and brought it home with me! 🤢🤢

Second this! I’ve been thinking about getting a grow light because my room is pretty dark but there’s so much to consider I keep putting it off lol
It's nice that your husband shops for plants with you.
I thought so too! My boyfriend isn't super happy when I bring more plants home 😄😄

i’ve been wanting to buy grow lights, please make that video on them!!!! i’d appreciate it a lot! love your vids
Found a golden pothos the other day on sale for five dollars and I love it! Got a money tree and a small cactus a few days ago as well!
Your Lowes has a great selection of plants. Our East coast location doesn’t compare. Great finds!

Your husband tho 🔥🔥🔥 you should feature him more. Those ARMS, that BEARD
Got me wanting to make a trip to Lowes, but I know my Arkansas store won't have the variety that this one does 😕
I really appreciate these kinds of videos because if I go into a store like this to just "look" i'll have spent 100$ by the time I leave. Love your content!
Lots of great plants,

That philodendron looks to me like a painted lady the one with the red in the leaves , I love these browsing videos 😊😊
I’d love to have a Lowes that size where I live! Our selection is a mere fraction of yours and twice as expensive. 😂
Please! I would love your info on grow lights! Can't wait.
That zz I got one two times the size for just 20 dollars I live in Ohio
Same. I always send the hubby 😆
I was at lowers and found a pretty little mican in a pretty little pot for $7.
Oh my gosh you are a San Francisco girl I remember watching a previous video and the vibe of your apartment gave me the San Francisco feel
Please make a video on grow lights! I found it really hard to find good information online.
I love your videos and it’s so sweet to see how nice your relationship is ❤️

Kalanchoes are often only sold during christmas here in Finland and are very commonly in gift arrangements. Also they are called tulilatva = fire top!
Also it’s very interest to see plants that are not that common to see here (that people pay good money for) sell so cheap there and also the other way around.
I love your videos :) so informative💚
Your videos always make my day better! 🪴✨

At Bunnings (Australia’s version of Lowes) a pink princess is like $85 and they only have the tiniest bit of pink on them. 😂

I just bought that peperomia citrus twist... got a discount bec I found one that's a rescue😍... can you pls do a video about grow lights? TIA
Those peperomia caperata look like
caperata emerald green, but light starved. Not sure if it’s a different kind of caperata and that is supposed to be yellow.
I’m driving there today to buy one of those adansonii’s
Trader Joe’s has $12 monsteras right now.
Looks like a Peperomia Frost? NOT supposed to be that yellow, more of the blue color really. But I also liked the yellow color lol
yay kaitlyn i love your videos! you have definitely inspired me to learn more about plants and add to my plant collection☺️☺️
who recorded your intro where it says “really big plant”?
I feel like the plants at my Home Depot are way cheaper than that!!! Why so expensive 😭
$60 for a zz??? Wow!
Excited for grow light talk cuz what you meeeean conflict?
Why is there a sign in Russian at that store?
Bromeliads scare the heck out of me! Frogs, and more disgustingly cane toads, live in them, and cane toads are very poisonous (and disgusting!)
I bought one once, and literally carried around a cane toad, and brought it home with me! 🤢🤢
Just put the frog outside lol it’s not a big deal. Just don’t eat them
Gotta love those plastic flowers they glue on the cacti at Lowes.
