@@Melanie16040 🤦♂ buddy you are confusing real life with arcade computer game , in World of Warships only damage you get from torpedoes is flood damage ... and buddy in game HE is only used in ammunition for ships and rockets in planes , in game there is nothing like HE in torpedoes , that is a fact ask Jingles.

Yeah about that , next Jingles sin "Benham can have 36 torpedos in the water at same time ) , that is not true , max is 32 torps ... there was time when I thought that things like that was funny , but those kida misstakes happen on regular base , like Jingles plan those , face it he is smart guy and he read post under videos , he noticed that people comment on that , so I would bet he make those misstakes on purpose ... of course I can be wrong because Jingles is smart guy , be also smart lazy guy , and from sound of it he dont play Wows much , and when he play it only in operations , so I guess wot & wows videos have becomed his job and he just dont have pssion to learn about new stuff in game , I dunno I just hope that Jingles do that for croud .

I absolutely love seeing good games between competent players. That Pommern had every bit as much right to win that game as Tag did, and both played it out to the best of their ability and acted like gentlemen the entire time. Good sports, good players, good game.

I liked the good-hearted conversation between the Pommern and Tag at the end of the match. Shows good sportsmanship
in my interpretation tag wasn’t a good sportsman, but rather putting salt into the wound and being obnoxious.

Tagilla is actually the name of a certain AI Boss in the game Escape from Tarkov. He's the one with a welding mask and a sledgehammer. And you actually pronounced it close enough to correct the first time. Tag - ill - ah
i’m glad someone else here is a fellow tarkov enjoyer. i spent a whole week trying to do the quest where you jill him, after my friend got him on like the third try, and nagged a red card from his pockets to boot

Tagilla is a boss from Escape From Tarkov.
He's not just 'any' boss. He's the stuff from nightmares. In an FPS, he's the guy who will chase you to hell and back with a sledgehammer while screaming and high on drugs.
He's also the easiest to kill once you know how to approach him, but that first encounter? Unforgettable.

Acshually, Jingles, the Yugumo _has_ to choose between TRB and smoke. And he popped smoke the moment you said it.
Yeah, Pommern is brutal in ranked, when played well it's unbeatable, except of course if most of YOUR team is secretly paid by the enemy team. This guy was really good, if he had just one not completely incompetent DD player with him this would have been an easy win for him.
Imagine playing a ranked battle, getting a Quacken Unleashed and scoring 1663 base XP in a lost match.
Kudos for that Pommern 🤕
All that pain melts away when they found themselves featured by Jingles with the old man singing their praises and dozens of comments showing respect.

Tagilla is a boss enemy from Escape From Tarkov. Quite infamous for being one to destroy players silently.

Gotta love good sportsman ship, and tagilla respecting that by confirming to the other guy that his shots were close. Personally, I like that kind of thing for blind firing. An enemy confirming to me that my guess was sharp and good, or trying to encourage smart tactical thinking from enemies by rewarding them with the fact that their guess was good
I gvie the Pommern mad props for the last shot he took. I give the Paolo Emilio mad props for the entire game he played as well as the suggestions he made in chat.

One of the subtle things that helped Tag with the win was having the Italian Captain (I forget his name) that extends the main battery firing range if you get a kill. Very convenient at the end to have a little more range to shoot and reset the Pommern from outside the Pommern's secondary range.

I’m willing to bet this guy kills it in a shima. Minus the yolo tactics this is exactly how to play that ship well. Always a pleasure to see a DD played well.

12:50 It's at pretty much this exact point where any experienced player should notice that the friendly team has won the game. They need 190 points to win, the opponents need 402 points. Even if the Pommern caps Bravo, the enemy team cannot mathematically catch up in time to win. The Pommern would HAVE to get all 3 caps to win, so he'd have to go for Alpha, which would leave Charlie exposed and allow for an easy cap. If the Pommern does not go for Alpha, then Tag can just escape until the match is over - he's in one of the fastest ships in the game, after all.
The ONLY way to potentially lose this game is to try and engage the Pommern.
I was about to write exactly that. The Paolo Emilio didn't have detonation flags either. So, engaging the Pommern was unnecessary risk.

Last night U.S central time zone 3:00 AM I looked and I didn’t see Jingle’s video! I was about to call the authorities on the salt mines overlord’s inactivity and requesting a new overlord! I thought due to age he has forgotten his governing responsibilities. But seems he was just getting his coffee and then uploaded the video. Jingles always upload then brew the coffee! 😂

Talk about "winning harder". Recently, I was in a battle where we had it all. 2 caps to enemy 1. Significant points advantage. One BB left on enemy team, one DD left on ours. In the last five seconds of the battle, right before winning, our Shimakaze fires his guns at the enemy BB, enemy BB is quick on the trigger and hits & sinks our Shima two seconds before a win, we lose. WHY? GOD, WHY????

Playing to win is how the game is supposed to be played, playing to win harder is how you *don't* play the game
facing a pommern and a benham alone as a dd I'd have given up the cap and live to fight another day. Pommern is, I feel, designed to make a push against a destroyer work
Playing to win, what a foreign concept for the current player base who just plays to farm, plays to complete some dumb mission, or the dreaded "I Just Play to Have Fun."
It's a *game.* If you don't wanna have fun playing, turn off the game and go back to work.
When I saw him bait the shot at the end there, I thought he was trying to bait the hydro. 9/10 when a destroyer fires when they don't have to, it's to turn you into torps or try and get you to burn off damage control prior to torps. So if I'm the pommern, I'm thinking he's baiting me and I need the hydro now. Which would give the Paolo a window without hydro for the devstrike

After Jingles's comment that the captain is Greek (which seems correct) and as a compatriot of the captain, I can say that the name used by the captain is pronounced simply as you see it (ll could be pronounced as a simple l and g is pronounced as in game).
The best is what the name means: it is the smell and taste of the olive oil that is not well stored and is oxidized after some time in the air!😂😂😂

I believe the name of that smell (and taste if you dare) is rancid. After rancidification which is the process of oxidation of olive oil, and other fats.

Hehe, I got a similar end game in WoWS not too long ago, where a sneaky but low health destroyer did get hit by two very lucky HE shots from my Cleveland into the cap circle. I was out of radar by that point but I had figured that the DD player would employ a similar tactic as before, trying to peek around a corner while capping to see whether he could see and torpedo me. He didn't go full throttle like Tagilla in your video, which was his mistake. Not a great game by me, only 2 kills and little damage, but very satisfying nonetheless.
Live fast die young and leave a good-looking hull. Well he’s got the first part down, might take a few more pesto pastas to slow him down enough to get killed though. Stay safe you pasta guzzling pizza gods, I love you.
Tbh, the dd had no incentive to open like that while Pommern was capping B. The dd could have just as easily went and capped A. It wasnt a calculated risk, it was plain old risk. The pommern need only get lucky once and the outcome would have been very different. Still, good game tho

Japanese 610mm torpedoes are the strongest in the game. Yugumo's do around 20k each before damage reductions are applied, if the commander has all the proper torpedo skills.

Apparently tagila in Greek means, the feel or taste of an oily substance (oil, butter) that has gone bad.

I was in a standard match with 1 Cruiser and 1 Battleship on each team with nothing but Destroyers as the rest, was an interesting match, was tier 4 or 5 if I rember right man that was a lot of torpedoes lol
