Love me some GT Blue ‘87’s. Fyi that seat is a Viscount 2123. Only used in 1987 for the GT bikes. 2188 came out in 1988. Cool build.

Are these bikes still competitive for freestyle with modern bikes?

They are very competitive.I see some people riding these old school bikes as everyday riders for freestyle. It really depends on the tricks. There are a few modern tricks you probably couldn’t do. But you could do most.
