- Bella Ciao (English: Goodbye Beautiful) is an Italian protest folk song from the late 19th century, originally sung by the mondina workers in protest against the harsh working conditions in the paddy fields of Northern Italy. Later it got adopted by the Italian partisans and became popularized as a resistance anthem against fascism and Nazism.
Nowadays this song is considered to be one of the most popular communist/socialist songs of all time, though in many cases it has been used only as an anti-authoritarianism and pro-freedom protest anthem, with no communist/socialist connotation or tendency. The renewed interest in this song was attributed to the Spanish heist crime drama television series La Casa de Papel (English: Money Heist).
This video features Bella Ciao in every single available language on UA-cam.

Bella Ciao! - 70 Different Languages
L'Internationale but it's from Italy
Bella ciao doesn't represent just the people of Italy but it represents the people of every country in world!
@@Ex-memegodita yeah it is, the l'internationale is almost the exact same but with origins from France
Only people who go to world war 2 with Partizan's
I'm pretty sure the Hebrew part is just the lyrics to the Jewish prayer "Modeh Ani," to the tune of Bella Ciao. The part you put in translates roughly to "I give thanks before you, king of all living things." Otherwise, nice video! I love Bella Ciao.
I see. Thanks for pointing that out.
What a beautiful song , i think it should be translated to all the languages as a sign of revolution of their nations , But above all , as a Sorani Kurd when i listen to the kurdish version it hits so hard , beacuse after all these years of fighting and sacrificng from all the parts of kurdistan , we haven't became able to create a country because of these large enemy countries , but revolution still continues and the guy in the song says , when i will finally die for my kurdistan , i know that some day someone will come back to my grave to tell me that we finally did it .
Biji Kurdistan ❤
No friend except mountains.
2:28 Burmese is like rock & roll
Putting bella ciao in German had to be a crime
Fun fact: the first european country to suffer from the covid-19 pandemic was Italy, and during the lockdown, the inhabitants of a german town sang toghether bella ciao on the streets and in the balconies while recording theirselves to show support to Italy, it's pretty hironical but it's an amazing gesture of friendship between two countries.

I love the Yddish-Maltese transition xD From total chill to party vibe
It would have been funny to use "korona cao" for the N.Macedonian version. A parody of the song, but it's hillarious
I love this song, this is my favorite song ❤

One of the most beautiful socialist songs.
E si questa canzone e stata utilizzata di partigiani non significa che questa canzone ce socialista. Difatti era una canzone dei contadini insoddisfatti della tirannia dei boiardi.
@@progamingofficialpenguin2601in pratica comunista
In 69 languages at best. Number 44 "Slovene", while likely performed by Slovenian choir Kombinat, is **clearly** original (or close to) italian text.
I listened to the first part (which is also the excruciatingly slowest part) and it doesn't sound Italian. The parts that come afterwards are truly Italian lyrics though.

how did you find bella ciao in Latvian

Where did you find the latin version? I couldn't find it anywhere !
I also couldn't find it now, so it could have been because the original video had been deleted.
However, I did find it back then and is still keeping it on my phone. If you want then I can re-upload it.

Oh, great. Bella Ciao.
It was nice, but Croatian and Serbian are not the same language, because Serbs speak 'ekavian' and Croats speak 'ijekavian'(I hope that you understand) . I am Croatian btw.
I mean they are similar
I think Serbo-Croatian is actually used to group together the Southern Slavic languages of Yugoslavia.

@@Ex-memegodita As long as the melody of the song is the same then it counts.
The Spanish version of Katyusha is a fascist partisan song called Primavera.
There's also a Shahist-Monarchist version of Einheitsfrontlied in Iran.

Unfortunately that wasn't the SPQR version of Bella Ciao, it was actually another Spanish version, but I didn't realize it back then.
