      Thank you for the feedback its appreciated. For some reason there must have been an error in the editing of this video and during processing something broke and nobody said anything to me that this was missing.
      The issue with the car was that there is a red wire that runs in the loom that runs across the driver side that you can see near the end of the video. Near the front of the car where it goes into the engine bay if you pull back the loom and remove the tape you will see a "join" of 2 red wires out of the engine bay to 1 single wire that runs into the car.
      This red wire and join is what provides the crucial power to all the starting components in the car such as the main relay and O2 sensor relay etc. After repairing the join everything worked as it should.

      So the red wire with the join your talking about. Do you remove the loom from under the dash inside the car or peel back the loom from under the hood in the engine bay? And if it’s in the cab of the car is it the loom that runs from the driver side to the passenger side and then comes out the fire wall?

      @trainwreck170 The connection is found in the harness that runs across the driver fender. The join is found just before the harness enters the engine bay into the fuse box.
      Its buried in the loom.
      Look on my Instagram from March 25 for a picture

    check the fourth fuse from the top on the black cluster of fuses. I saw another you tube video about this same problem, no crank, no start and that fuse was the problem. changed the fuse, started right up.

    Did u ever get it going? Mine was a had to do with a vehicle security ground behind glove box.ifthe body integrated unit grounds the yellow/bluwire 4 security relay .The relay will engage and open the contactinside sucurity key.PREVENTING THE Sarter relay from starting.. i ground out the relay behind glove box little gray relay and cranks up every time until i can fugure out why outta the blu its doing it. good luck hope this helps ,MURF FROM ALASKA....

      I have the same problem! Only figured it out after many hours of testing... It was intermittently starting, then got worse and worse, and basically stopped all together. I'm thinking of replacing the security relay with one that is closed when powered and open when off - for now I just have a jumper wire connecting the black/blue wire (ground signal from ECU) to the green/blue wire (providing ground to starter relay) so the car still only starts if the clutch is in.

      This might be an after thought... But did you figure it out?
      The reason im asking is im troble shooting a subaru right now, that was randomly stalling... anyway when you said security relay... And blue/ yellow wire... I was tearing apart the passenger harness in the side wall that leads into the front passenger door, in the little white box the harness flows through...and found parts of a yellow and blue wire... A mouse chewed... And followed it into the door... And had to take the door panel off .. any way the mouse craweled all the way through the rubber door gromet boot and into the passenger door...and chewed the yellow wire and blue wires... So does part of the security system wiring lead into the door??? Something to look into possibly... If I get results ill get back here and let you know.

    You talk too much... what's the fix, that's what these videos are for... if people knew the answers... why go to mechanics?

    • @toolshedadventures
      @toolshedadventures  11 місяців тому +1

      Talk to much? I make videos to show people how to troubleshoot and fix things.
      Unfortunately during production the video was cut short and the part I fixed was missed.
      It took over 3 months to have someone leave a comment and at that time it was to late to fix the video.
      If you look at the comments I pinned a comment with my response to what I fixed.
      Also to answer you about the mechanic stuff? Well where I live shop rates are atupid and with pricing of parts people cant always afford to go to a mechanic. So if I can show or teach someone and they save thousands then awesome.
