Nah, it's justified Lee has the best punishment tools in the game, has opressive offense, is evasive as fuck and his combo damage is insane, he had to get to toned down a bit

They also removed tracking on throws and powercrush, that throw was vital to his gameplan to catch steps imo. He was nerfed pretty hard unfortunately which I don’t think they intended. Of all characters, Lee needs tracking on his throw. At least we got ws23 heat burst consistent now.

@@Howfoolish. not his throw game, the tracking specifically on his uf1+2 throw was pretty important to quickly check a sidestep. Check out some fightinggm gameplay and you’ll see what I mean. He still can be pretty oppressive don’t get me wrong I 100% agree, but his greatest weakness of being very step-able has been amplified, while still lacking a fast homing move (that many other characters have) to replace the hole that uf1+2 filled if that makes sense. Lee is still awesome in this game, I just think that change hurts him a lot.
His heat smash sucks because his usage of heat is very strong. Heat burst gives full combo for ws2,3. Ff3 into heat dash is very strong. I think that’s why they made his heat smash bad.

Cuz the balance team is made up by new people that are quite dumb. Like when they nerfed dragunov's Wr2 which is a staple that he NEEDS at +6 to do anything at all. Then gave king a +7 ff2 and kazuya a +5 with CD 1+2. Everyone gets free frames on block that they don't need. Dragunov gets a +3 from a short range hatchet on hit, which is -31 on block. They are literally doing shit at random, throwing it at the wall to see what sticks. They have NO IDEA wtf is going in the game. That was clear from the get go after the beta and after they announced heat. You are lucky you didn't play that version of the game. It was a nightmare. Unseeable low launchers that were -12 on block, 130+ damage staples with no walls and you STILL had an extra heat dash if you hit a heat engager. Natural strings from 12 frames mids that would lead to 70 damage... Tracking, launching, long range mids +4 on block... At this point, Tekken 8 is gonna get good when Tekken 9 comes out, since they are already working on it, hoping for a 2028 launch ( both me and the devs. Less years of Tekken 8, the better. Ready for the next gen consoles launch window. Hopefully)

I'm curious if that move from yoshi was generic df4 because I know that move has hella pushback on hit/block (at least on Xaioyu and Nina). This happens to Lili's BT powercrush as well, (as Nina for an example) if you df4 on her powercrush, the push back on hit is enough to push you away from the attack and you can launch punish it. Definitely should be fixed
Last one seemed like Yoshi was just too far lol (still unsure, he also looked like he gets pushed) Overall nice changes when playing with or against Lee because of the consistency fixes.

You forgot to mention the fact that all his heat dash mini combos are significantly nerfed. Like borderline useless kind of nerf. Now the damage is scaled heavily and you can't even get HMS uf4 into ub3 anymore. This change while not as bad, is still significant, because it limits his already mediocre heat usage. Now it just forces us to hold heat just to use with ws2,3 into ff3 or ff3 heat dash. I think it's shitty on the devs to mask what's suppose to be bug fix, as a buff, to compensate for the nerfs, when there are other characters with better heat than Lee. It is what it is, I'll continue to play Lee, but this still sucks. I also think Lee players are too complacent, but I don't think we should be ok with the nerfs we got, for the buff we received that should've been a bug fix to begin with.

HM power crush was buffed, but that specific interaction is with Yoshimitsu weird ass's df4, that pushes him back, just like Bryan's before nerf 3+4. Fucking broken ass character lol

Besides the buff to his heat smash, I’m really not seeing a plus. Nerfed his slide, df1, and back 34 and that’s big part of my mixup/playstyle 😢

Yeah they changed this for all the characters. Blazing kick works but you need to do it quickly or it will whiff and you will die.
