Very good video, I agree with all the points you made. I don't think these buffs/fixes would make Lee super powerful or top tier, but they would make him feel like a complete character and at least more capable as other fighters in Tekken 8 who have mostly all been buffed from T7. I don't think anything you asked for is unreasonable, but unfortunately these changes are so specific and intimate to Lee that I don't think the balance team would even think of it. I think for the most part, they will just add a new move and say thats enough, maybe bug fix, it would be nice if they at least reverted some of the nerfs from T7 but maybe thats wishful thinking. Love your vids, always giving me more to think about and incorporate while playing Lee. Thanks.

Lee is already a tier

Lee does have a floor break throw, it's just not very likely to happen unless you really try to go for it. Right side throw breaks floors. But yeah, if they wanna keep what they were going for, then hitting just frames in heat should have additional properties. Maybe slide knockdown, ff2 better tracking or more plus frames, better damage on acid rain, full combo on mist trap... just spitballin here.

Before we touch things like his throws or df3,2,3 he needs better movement and tracking, they’re WAY worse than we realize and it’s holding him back from really seeing any solid representation. Tracking improvements on FC df4, df44, standing 3, and I’d even be as bold as to say d3. Slide also has the worst tracking out of all the slide characters so in order to get him up to speed, slide would probably need improved tracking as well. Completely agree with Slide KND in heat, should’ve been in from the start, but I also think it needs to be +4 instead of 3

Haven't play Lee since tag 2, just got into him recently and in less than a week, I thought of some of the same exact buffs. It makes so much sense for him to have a grey life eraser, and I thought of the heat slide knocking down too. Far as hitman 1+2, I thought about just giving the wall splat more range. I knew that df3,2 string did launch before...I don't get why they would nerf that. Df3,2 has been a good mid option to mix up with b+3,3 with both being 15 frames fast though. His heat is odd, it's more so a way to make his just frame easier but his running 3,4 does like 14 chip damage in heat, that's nuts. I see it as somewhat of a shining light. I see huge benefit in just holding onto that heat as Lee because of that. Lee is good, he feels super close to being broken. If he had something to actually get people to commit to a duck, he would be a nightmare to fight. I also thought of a buff to speed up the second hit of b+3,3, speeding it up would make it so people had to commit to a crouch to launch it.

I love Lee and I play with him but I'm terrible, I don't think I'll ever be able to play like that. Congratulations

just frame slide should knock down on normal hit and Lee mains should be rewarded for execution. Also I think f4 1 should be natural in heat. About hitman 3 to remove recoverable health is good but better to remove that property from the game at all. And I think if developers team remove pc heat engagers in season 2(I hope so) and make Lee's b112 his new heat engagers would be cool.

6:45 Ironically, Lee DOES have a floor-breaking throw. However, it's his right-side throw. So you need to sidestep a move to the left and then grab in order to do so, which is not happening 99% of the time. So yea, bring back f3+4 properties. فيديو حلو يالحبيب. انا برضه بلعب Lee وعجبتني أفكارك.

I just hope they don’t give him a braindead power mid or those mid hitting heat smashes that are plus a million on block. That would kill the character for me, but other than that I agree with these changes

Buff his heat only.. if there's no heat mechanic in T8.. lee would be S teir easily.

I really don’t understand what they were thinking with the df3,2,3 change, maybe his backturn combo damage would be a bit too high if they left it unchanged from t7 but they could easily adjust that. But to just remove the launch from it entirely is stupid, other than his slide this is the main thing I want for him in season 2 cause his off axis/bt combos do so little damage in t8

The best way to buff Lee is to give him some of Wang Jinrei's moves. For anyone who doesn't know, Lee canonically trained under Wang in between Tekken 1 & Tekken 2; so it makes sense for Lee to know a few of his moves

I think a good compromise for hms 1+2 would be to make it a ballerina spin on counter if the guaranteed kd is to big of an ask. More +Frames, guaranteed mix, and the wallsplat at the wall is preserved.

imagine if mist trap launch with a reduced scaling it will make going for it totally worth it. if you hit the just frame it launch if you use heat and cheat it give the old knockdown and same thing mid combo but just frame on standing block or hit will launch with the second hit having guard break scaling

Jin is much much more powerfull and fast now! His defensw is bad noq but he is much better. But again... no Jin feeling when playing.
