One week the Raiders look like going all the way this year, the next they look like school boys. It's crazy.

Going to be very interesting to see how the Raiders respond against Manly next week. Going to be very big for the context of their season to see if they can recover from big back to back losses. And remember they had the spoon worthy game with the Titans the game prior.
Rough patch of form to say the least.
Cronulla weren't overly convincing through the first 6 games of the season stock standard wins agaisnt NZ and Canterbury. A poor loss to the Tigers followed by another two wins that were a little more along the line of top 4 contention.
But these last 2 games really have me thinking. Blowing away a solid NQ outfit then giving Canberra the pipe in the Capital. Impressive stuff. St George next week, classic rivarly match so anything can happen, I suspect a closer contest but alas I do believe Cronulla will come out the better of the two sides.
After that though we will really see their true colours. Storm, Roosters, Panthers, Eels and Broncos for 5 straight games. I suspect they may only pick up 2 wins at most in that stretch. Best bet being against the Eels and Roosters as lame as that may sound
Cronulla v Brisbane Grand Final please.
Brisbane are miles ahead of Cronulla. No team except for maybe Penrith could contain Brissy right now

The Raiders did not look motivated to play since the first 10 minutes of the game.
It feels like an exchange of words from their leaders must have drained them mentally beforehand. *just an observation...
