- Now that the tournament in France has drawn to the close, it's time to relive some of the best scores as we count down from 23 to one, the 23 best tries from Rugby World Cup 2023!
Included in the list is a stunner from Fiji, a Japanese second-row scoring a chip-and-chase, the All Blacks going the length of a field and the Springboks scoring off a no-look kick!

My dad and I made a game out of pointing out every time a commentator mistook Arendse for Kolbe. Just about any time Arendse did anything they gave Kolbe the credit

It was actually richie mo'unga and damien mckenzie to thank for his 2 tries. Also Telea's stepping game is unlike anything Ive ever seen. The dude is an absolute monster

Man what a world cup. I'm South African so obviously very happy (still recovering from the stress though) but at times I was supporting Ireland, France, NZ, England, Fiji, Argentina the list goes on. I know the pool stages messed things up for some teams but it was still thrilling. Eagerly awaiting 2027!

@@Karma-qt4ji Saw their arses imply some sort of destruction or domination, that is not the case, except for Scotland of course.
The All Blacks almost won despite being red carded, they actually got a try whereas SA won on penalties and barely mind you.

That was entirely in their hands, 14 men or not, and they blew it -they played the wrong game plan for the conditions and the wrong game plan for the opposition, hence the 19 turn overs. So did they implode (aka see their arses) by not taking the points on offer, not kicking their goals, playing the wrong game plan - or were they unlucky? You tell me.
Maybe when referring to the 2023 RWC from now on we can add “*NZ nearly won with 14 men” to stop all the crying 🏆🏆🏆🏆🇿🇦

Definitely but I think losing the great Stuart Hogg was even more unfortunate.
Why? Every team other than South Africa was unlucky to come up against every team that knocked them out of the tournament on the day they came up against them. What makes Scotland so special that the draw should specifically favour them?
@@Karma-qt4ji because Scotland was up against the 2 best teams in the world for getting a place in the knockouts, whereas pool C and D were comparatively much easier.

Having them in the pool with SA and Ireland was more to the detriment of SA and Ireland who had that potential banana peel - the pool being that tough was probably was one of the reasons Ireland ran out of steam in the QF's. Ireland and SA at least had a realistic opportunity of making it to the final and the only way that Scotland were going to get very far was if they luckily came up against poor opposition.
Give credit where it was due, at least Wales and England put up a fight. Scotland just rolled over and played dead and then blamed the draw for their early demise. Can't say I have much sympathy for them.
@@Karma-qt4ji I'm saying this as a Wales fan, Scotland would definitely still beat England and Wales even with their performance this RWC, just the gap between the top 4 and every other team is way too huge.

The first try that the All Blacks scored shouldn’t had been disallowed because the TMO forgot, they cannot go back over 2 phases for a knock in.
It’s was 5 phases when the try was scored. That was a great try that should had stood.
