Hi from Hamilton. Police approached us at HUGS (Hamilton United Gay Societies) at the time. One of our services was Gayline phone counselling for people in the closet. They wanted our membership list so they could investigate local transvestites/ drag queens. We refused. Everyone was in the closet back then, and we didn't have a good relationship with police due to the Vice Squad.so we felt we had to protect our people and not "out" them to police. I'm glad the drag queens at Billies Place (Windsor Hotel) bar did cooperate -- but that was their own choice. Very sorry the professor Edith Wightman was attacked and died, a real tragedy.

For those of us who have hearing problems, the background music was horrible and inhibited hearing the narrator. There is no need for constant loud music and it should not be used in broadcasting. It just muddles up the story. This is probably the first and last Real Crime episode that I watch unless the background music is taken off.

Also, if you can't own a dog wherever you live, you can buy "FIRST ALERT VISCIOUS DOG BARKING ALARMS" and after you've set up the virtual perimeter, the barking dog sound intensifies so as to give the impression that it's a real dog who's growing increasingly agitated by the threat. I saw the trial of those 2 boys who killed one's family. Unbelievable, the friend was the most narcissistic, sociopath since Diane Downs. At the end of his trial When the defendant was allowed to address the court he rambled on for hours. Didn't do him any good though, he's rotting in prison, where he belongs. He didn't fall far from the tree, because his family stood up for him, when they should have disowned him. They refused to face the fact that their son and brother was a monster.

I just want to say as I start watching this that I know that cities have more crime, like most big cities but that doesn’t automatically mean that everybody would want to live in the suburbs. We just want our representatives to do a better job but there’s a lot of things to like in being around everyone and everything …

Lol, he's Burlakóv, which is a Slavic, probably Russian surname. And Lazarenko is also Slavic, seems Ukrainian to me.
A BURLAK is a profession, it's a barge hauler who pulls a barge upstream, like a beast of burden, towing it, pulling it while walking beside a barge on the river bank. There is a famous painting "Burlaks on Volga" by Ilia Repin, which shows the job in all its glory.

That poor victim. I cant begin to imagine those few seconds of terror she must of experienced when thinking her bf was behind her and then turning around and coming face to face with that piece of crap dressed in drag. Absolutely she def musta been horrified beyond belief. Not even being safe in your work office at lunch time anymore. Such a sad story that makes u realize in a blink of an eye, a complete lunatic, and for no reason at all (even tho there would be no reason to justify anything remotely like that), can just end someones life and destroy all her loved ones lives. Smh.. my deepest condolences to the victim's family and i hope that coward suffers unimaginably every day n hour non stop until he takes his last breath.

In America that kid and his friend Sebastian who killed his parents would never have been convicted on that undercover sting. That’s called entrapment, they may have been wanting to look cool in front of the criminals etc etc.
